Diner Reviews
  • "There is truly no better dining experience in Las Vegas than a trip to this restaurant. We're the world's buffet capital, but this property's interpretation of the salad bar exceeds all reasonable expectations. The meat offerings are completely over-the-top - if you're disappointed, you'll have to await colonization of an alternate planet to be satisfied. As a local industry insider with no vested interest in this property, I assure there are few better dining options in all of Las Vegas. Be certain to try the premium signature beverage from the bar... you'll be very glad you did!"

  • "Second time to a Fogo de Chao (first time was in Chicago). Food was excellent again and service fantastic. Fixe prix is reasonable consider all you can eat meat and expansive salad bar, but be aware that drinks and dessert are a la carte and a bit pricy."

  • "A good restaurant for an office luncheon as it's an upscale buffet style. Works well for vegetarians (not vegans) due to the selection at the salad bar."

  • "It was one of the best restaurants that I´ve ever been!!!!"

  • "The wait staff at this restaurant provided one of the most attentive and pleasant dining experience our group of 4 ever had. Excellent salad bar, and wide selection of meats. All the meats were flavorful, and hot (which is not always the case a Brazilian Steakhouses), however, we did find quite a few of the cuts to be dry. We have been to all the churrascarias in Las Vegas, and Fogo de Chao is one of the two best."

  • "Great service experience, the moment you walk in the door. The hostesses were very friendly. The servers were also very attentive, we could not ask for a better service."

  • "I was anxious to try this restaurant but was disappointed. The salad bar was good. The meat was way too salty and I seemed to almost always get the first slice which was the saltiest. Their shtick of delivering and carving off small pieces of meat got old pretty quickly as, after sampling all, I didn't want every cut they had, only the ones I liked the best. It seemed like we were constantly being pestered with 'Would you like this or that' when I really wanted something else. For instance, at one point I was asked twice if I wanted chicken and once for sirloin while I was waiting for filet. For the price of this ok meal we could have had a fabulous meal at Ruth's Chris; next time we will."

  • "Salad bar - excellent. The meats served to our table - tasty, tender, nice portions and plentiful. Ambiance - great. Service - prompt, helpful, friendly and courteous. The garlic sirloin, linguicia sausage and leg of lamb were my favorites."

  • "It was a fun night out with family and friends. Busier than I expected for a Tuesday night, but still able to hold a conversation. We went as a part of Restaurant Week- love getting yummy food AND helping out Three Square! Bonus- saw the Washington State Basketball team walking in as we were leaving (glad we got our food first :))."

  • "My wife and I had heard of a brazillian steak house in Vegas and made it a point to check it out Well let me tell you we were amazed at the flavorful meats that were prepared Well worth the price ! How ever the wines they have we're a little pricey by the glass"

  • "This was our first visit to Fogo in Las Vegas and it didn't disappoint! We have been to Houston and New York and it is always a great night. I am glad to hear that they will be introducing fish options as not everyone is like us - carnivores!"

  • "I brought clients here because of the unique eating experience. They really thought the process was great. I thought the meats were just average. They tasted dry. Overall great ambience."

  • "I have been to many many fogo's. I also had a reservation that I booked over a week prior to out dinner date. We wait for our table for over an hour, and the food service was horrible. Sadly I clients with me and was extremely embarrassed. Will not be going to this location again."

  • "For something different it was nice, friendly service, & a unique dinning experience. Couples or a family would enjoy the experience. A wide variety of entrees, huge salad and appetizer selection."

  • "We had ate here before and it was one of his favorites. I booked it as a surprise and he was excited because they have a few meats Texas De Brazil don't. Well we were disappointed!!!! The meats were not seasoned well. I joked I needed some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. We laughed and a few minutes later the waiter asked if we wanted any sauces. When your meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection you don't need any sauce. We were return guest but they got to do better.......that was A LOT of money to not be satisfied with your meal."

  • "I took my gf there to have dinner before a night on the town. She was in the mood for steak, and since I like the variety that comes with a Brazilian Churasscario, we decided to go to Fogo. The wine list was decent and the ambiance was nice. Armando, our primary waiter, provided us with excellent service. When we turned our little indicator to green, we had a flood of waiters with mouth watering meats offer us various cuts. We had to turn it red again to enjoy what we had on the plate without getting bombarded with other offers. Overall, it was a great experience. It wasn't quite the romantic experience, but then again that wasn't what we were looking for. It was good enough to give us a chance to chat and enjoy some good food."

  • "This was my second trip to Fogo. We loved it. My friends had never been and we wanted something OFF the strip. It was a $10 cab ride from MGM Signature. The meal was amazing. The who experience was top notch. The concierge asked where we were going, we told him Fogo, he said... "Great Choice!" When the bellman called the cab he asked where we were going, We told him Fofo, He said, "You will love it!" When we got in the Cab, the cabby asked us where to, and we told him, Fogo, He said "you are in for a treat, they have the best salad bar and meats around." If that wasn't enough to convince my friends.... All in all... it was the start to a great evening."

  • "We came here for lunch, which is very reasonably priced for all you can eat meat! The filet mignon was superb! The ribs were great too. They also brought us some side dishes to go with our meat, which was nice. The cheese puffs they brought out were spectacular! The salad bar had a lot of variety too. The service was great. All of the servers and wait staff were really friendly. We had a great experience!"

  • "This was my second lunch visit. The first was with a party of 20, this time a party of two. Both experiences were fun and a culinary delight. The "salad bar" (which can be a meal in itself) is delicious, but don't cheat yourself out of the endless stream of freshly carved meats! The lamb T-bones and pork ribs are a favorite, but there are numerous beef, chicken and pork options, as well, delivered to you by handsome and charming meat men. Pricey but fun and yummy!"

  • "Overall the food was very good, so many varieties to eat from. I was very surprised that the cost of eating there did not include dessert and coffee, that would have made our dinner night sweeter :-)"

  • "We went to Fogo de Chao expecting great food and service. For the most part the food was good, what ruined it was being served certain cuts of meat loaded with fat, and asking for lamb medium- rare and having it served well done...couldn't eat it. Service was friendly but poor. We were never brought our side dishes, and had to ask a different waiter for our side dishes. Salad bar was terrible. Verdict: I will never go back...I will stick with Texas de Brasil, which is much better on every level."

  • "for our first time visit the servers were great on the spot for any needs, salad bar was good, but they could make it larger, was very crowded. other than that it was a great experience."

  • "There were only 2 chicken options and the rest were beef. The waiters came in spurts with the food so either you had 4 meats in a row or none. I didn't see any seafood besides at the salad bar where there was 1 type of fish and cocktail salad dish. Overall, I didn't think it was worth the money. There are other Brazilian restraunts that I've been to and will just go there next time. On the plus side, there was an older gentleman bartender who was very nice and attentive."

  • "For the majority of my guests this was the first time at this restaurant. We were all impressed with the service. The wait staff hustled all evening and provided outstanding service. Even though we did not have any service issues, the manager stopped by our table to make sure we enjoyed our experience. You could tell that he really cared about what we said. He made a great experience even better."

  • "Quick: Really sub standard service, meat variety and overall experience. Texas De Brazil finally confirmed as the winner. It's official, FDC of Vegas does not compare well with Texas De Brazil. Mostly this comes down to poor variety and mediocre service. the first 15 minutes went fine, we had meat coming at a normal pace but we could not go to the salad bar as it was 100% full. Caipirinha too sweet. Same cut of beef offered 3 times in a row. But after the 15 minutes, there was a 20 minute dead zone, no meats came by. Filet never made a stop until 40 minutes into our meal. It was basically a fiasco, but they tried their best. Or at least the waiter made be believe he was concerned. Sorry Fogo but we won't be returning!"

  • "The service and food were amazing! I must say, I enjoyed it a little more than the other place, Texas De Brazile. Texas is very good, but the flavor of the meats at Fogo are just better. Great locations as well. easy to get to."

  • "Wow! When we flipped the cards over the staff was all over us. I could not keep up with the offerings they had. The bacon wrapped filet was incredible and most offerings came in med-rare medium and well done so everyone at the table was happy. The staff was also very wine knowledgeable. Pointed us to a nice Zinfandel called the Sin Zin. I'm usually a cabernet fan but this was very good."

  • "Our family was visiting in the Vegas area and we were having a special holiday dinner out. We had a party of 4 adults and one child. The staff were more than accommodating when it came to our granddaughter (a pleasant child to have with the party). The choices and quality of food were spectacular....no one could ever possibly leave after their meal being hungry. The wait staff /employees were constantly refilling or bringing more meat choices around. Excellent service!! Will definitely recommend to people for a different type of dining pleasure ..."

  • "Although most of the food was good, by far the best I thought was one of the last items offered at our table. It was the lamb chops. I loved it so much, I had the guy come back twice for more (2 chops each time). If they had offered the lamb earlier, I would have probably skipped a couple of the beef sirloin items and just eaten more lamb. Now I know what to do the next time."

  • "The service was good, food was good, and there was lots of it, but $300 for a group of 4 when only a moderately priced wine was enjoyed seems a little excessive given the lack of a high end feel. Noise level was high, but that may have been due to being placed near the salad bar which generates a ton of traffic. The Denver location is much better, but we did see several large groups and this would be a great place for those events."
