  • "I am a frequent diner at fogo, and also work in the upscale food service industry. I know it is restaurant week and have lax for the week. We were slightly rushed after buying 120 bottle of wine, and cocktails/ports and ice wines for appropriate courses. Being in the industry i thought the servers might pick up on not rushing our table with what we ordered. Only issue I've ever experienced. I still recommend fogo to anyone that wants the best value for your money while still having an excellent dinner and experience!"

  • "My wife and I went during restaurant week and I think there was a decline in service. We were told that we would get 8 out of the 16 meats they offer since we picked the restaurant week option. We only received about 4 meats and the service was less than stellar! I may go back to get a taste of all the meats."

  • "The place was packed and we had to wait for about 10 minutes after our reservation time to be seated, but once we were at our table everything was great. Their salad bar is amazing - so many choices! I probably would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't in line behind a family with small children who weren't good at keeping their hands out of things (thats the parent's fault, though). THe meats were very good, and the servers came very regularly. We left very full and happy."

I could not comfortably have a conversation with my partner without repeating myself. The waitstaff was obviously overworked and seemed to scoff at our requests for more popovers. I did find the desert recommendation to be knowledgeable and accurate. On the advice of a server, we ordered the flan and enjoyed it immensely. I enjoyed the meat selection you had to offer but felt the salad area paled in comparison to other churrascaria restaurants I have experienced"

  • "Compared to Rodizio and Texas de Brazil, Fogo was much louder on the inside, had less meat and salad bar selection, and we felt rushed. I'm not sure if the rushed feeling was because it was 5280. However, the food we ate was very delicious. It was a bonus that a few of the wait staff were actually Brazilian to help with menu selections and discuss the food. My mother-in-law is also Brazilian, so it makes her very happy to speak to others from her country."

  • "Quite disappointed. I feel Texas De Brazil is far more superior. The meats @ Fogo were cooked or undercooked to extremes meaning way too dry or purple undercooked. The salad bar was not centrally located and had a few different items then Texas De Brazil. The volume in the room was very loud. The service was OK. The server said for restaurant week they don't split checks, what's the difference? They tack on the 18% gratuity, but once you are done with your food, there is not much follow up with beverages as our group continued talking. We had part of our party that need to leave early and we could not get the attention of the server to come and get their portion of the bill paid and then we had the same with the balance of the tab."

  • "No one can ever complain they didn't get enough to eat. The meat choices never stopped coming and the staff made sure you had it prepared exactly the way you wanted, even if they had to return to your table. The salad bar offers enough choices that even a picky eater could find plenty to enjoy including the various cheeses and meats. I ended the meal with a very generous slice of key lime pie which was delicious. I highly recommend this experience for everyone if you are lucky enough to get a reservation. This was my third try to get in on a Saturday evening. Enjoy!"

The service for drinks was slow, we ordered our drinks and my father did not get his until we had to ask 45 minutes later.   • "For Father's day this year we to go to Brazilian steakhouse. We had been to Fogo De Chao before so we decided we would try a new restaurant instead. We made a reservation at the one down the street from FDC but we were not impressed with the staff or the food (just from walking from the door to the table). So while waiting for my son to use the bathroom I logged onto open table and made a reservation with FDC then 5 minutes after entering we left and walked the few blocks to Fogo. I am so glad we did. The staff there is always amazing, the food is so good that you end up eating way too much and there is a great variety. They really made it a wonderful father's day lunch. Plus we got a coupon as father's day gift to come back another time."

  • "we had a good time and the food was good but the bartender could have defnnitely been nicer when she plopped back the drink lwith light rum on the table when we wanted it replaced with dark rum. I asked for the brazilian mojito. The waitress said dark or light rum- I had no idea so I saidwhat the difference- maybe light. It tasted not at all like a mojito but like tequila. The waiter said she'd replace it and left but then the bartender came back- without a replaement drink and chided us on the differences in flavors of dark and light rum. I just wanted a brazilian mojito. We were there for a birthday party and it kinda put a WTF with the whole celebration. food was wonderful"

  • "We went to Fogo de Chao for a birthday celebration. The wait staff was great, very attentive. After visiting this chain in Brazil, I can say it is fairly similar to that restaurant. I was surprised to get quite a few pieces of meat with gristle and/or large quantities of fat. Some pieces I received contained almost no meat! This was disappointing. Towards the end of our meal, we had to ask for some types of meat to be brought out, as we hadn't seen them the entire time we ate. Based on the meat quality on this visit, I would say it isn't worth the $50/person."

  • "Being a Brazilian, I was excited about finally having a meal at Fogo. In Brazil, this restaurant is extremely fancy and expensive and I thought the US price was inviting. The meats were wonderful (love the Fraldinha, Picanha and Filet Mignon). The side dishes (fried banana and polenta) were great. The salad bar was very good. But the most remarkable part of the lunch was the service. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. They came several times to take specific meat orders. When they learned we were Brazilians, the Brazilian waiter came to see us and that felt like home. I plan on coming back during my next visit to Denver."
