  • "We have been to Fogo de Chao many times, however this time we thought tables were too close to each other and service was rushed. We waited for bread for at least 20 minutes. Other complimentary brazillian entrees didnt arrive later after we started eating. Comparing to Texas Brazil, their salad buffet and side items were weaker."

  • "Fofo de Chao is a favorite when I am visiting cities where they have a restaurant. The salad bar alone is worth the price of admission! Best tabouli I have ever eaten! It was a busy Saturday night, so a bit noisy, but still the food was just excellent, staff attentive and we had a great experience. I will eat there again."

  • "...bar where I served myself. Our party of eight spent half the time trading 'worst restaurant experiences ever' stories since that's the sort of service we received at Fogo that evening. This is a place where prompt, unobtrusive but attentive service is what makes the event possible. When, instead, you need to crane your neck trying to signal anyone to please clear a plate, refill the water, provide eating utensils and, yes, please notice the green cards which means we would like some meat goes largely ignored it doesn't recommend the restaurant. We won't be coming back soon."

  • "Had been to this style restaurant in Brazil and was excited to find Fogo de Chao while in town for the weekend. Went with my wife, son and his fiancée. We had a wonderful time. The service great. If we wanted a specific meat, just mentioning it to one of the gaucho's was all it took. Next thing you knew, there it was. The wait staff was very responsive. They keep replenishing the cheese bread just so we'd have it warm. Will have to plan another trip to Plano just to go here!"

I go as often as I can afford since they opened and always consistent quality. I visited Baltimore location and it was just as great.   • "My GF & I are huge fans of the Brazilian Steakhouse feel & are creating that experience as our yearly Anniversary dinner choice. We have visited other restaurants, which set a classy, romantic vibrance to them. Although many other reviews noted that was the case here, we unfortunately did not get that get that vibe. The loud ambiance & seemingly "dressed down" nature that was apparent took the romance out of dinner, but we still had a great time with each other as we always do. Seems like for this this restaurant in particular, It felt like sizzler with unlimited meat."

  • "We have been Fogo de Chao fans since the day it opened in Dallas several years ago. We recently visited Fogo after a year absence and found it has lost some of its magic. The salad bar was still the best in town and the drinks were good, but the meat (once a highlight) had a couple of our favorite cuts that weren't the same quality as we always expect to receive. We even got seconds on the two that seemed a little "off" but the second cuts had the same issues. Other cuts were good, however. We also noted that the service wasn't as gracious as it was when the original family owned Fogo. Overall, still a good place to eat, but not the same as it was in its early years. Not sure it is still worth the price for a night out. So sad to say this!"

  • "Our party of 6 arrived on time and we were seated in a section that was clearly set aside for large groups (there were 3 other much larger groups in our vicinity, which made the noise level almost unbearable). The salad bar was very good, as is typical for this chain. The rodizio service felt somewhat hurried, almost too hurried. This Fogo is much smaller than the usual ones, and noisier. "

  • "While the food certainly wasn't bad and service was ok, this place has changed seriously in ambience and class since I was last here ten years ago. Same old misty carpwt looks like it has never been changed, no updates at all to the restaurant and sadly was a very down markwt feeling. The food was alright maybe it was an off night. Servers didn't even seem to pay any attention to the green/red coaster system and the. When one of us at our table of two accepted some meat thwy would take off before asking if the second diner wanted any. This happened several times over the course of dinner. Two of the wines we requested were out. Just a big change over what used to be a fancy dining spot. "

  • "My wife and I decided to have Easter brunch here this year after a very bad experience a couple of years ago. The only issue we had with our food was that a good portion of the beef servings were tough, fatty and could not be eaten. The final serving was a filet which we both felt was the best. Ironic they serve the best for last. Coincidence or purposeful. The biggest irritation is that when asked how everything was during our dining, we voiced concerns and told them it would be nice if they communicated the problem to management. No response! A deer-in-the-headlights! Overall, the service and atmosphere is appealing. "

  • "My wife decided to celebrate her Birthday at her favorite restaurant, the service from the beginning was excellent, the food was varied and very well presented, the portions excellent, the waiters friendly and courteous, the ambience as usual was energetic, but not noisy, allowing for easy conversation. The restaurant provided a complimentary dessert, with a handwritten note by the chef, celebrating my wife's birthday. This restaurant will continue to be our favorite venue for all celebrations, big or small."

  • "Simply the BEST Brazilian steakhouse in Dallas. This was the first Fogo in the US and it is the restaurant where they train many of the people who go on to manage other Fogos around the country. I have tried most of the Brazilian steakhouses in Dallas and Fogo has the highest quality meat and it is prepared with more care. Each type of meat is prepared by a specific Gaucho who learns how to cook that cut."

  • "Our son-in-law was dying to try this place, and he really enjoyed it! We probably won't do it again though, as it is too pricey. Also, the wait staff watches every move you make to the point of distraction. If you want to have a somewhat relaxing dinner, wait until they come around with all the meat selections you'd like to sample, then turn your coaster over to red so you won't keep getting interrupted!"

  • "I have been going to Fogo de Chao for more than 10 years. For me, it was always the best value in town for great meat and outstanding service. However, this time around the experience was not up to par. The seasoning on everything was different. We were told they have gone to a healthier seasoning, which is good, but the flavor is not the same. Cutting salt or sugar on everything is a good thing but NOT on special occasions. Salt is an extremely important ingredient for grilled meats so you can't take it out of the equation. Also many salad items have been affected by this measures, and in my opinion, even the "Tres Leches" cake and the Papaya dessert felt a bit lame. It is still a good place to enjoy but it won't be The Place!"

  • "Fogo de Chao is a great restaurant. The price may scare you but it's well worth it! I read alot of reviews that said don't indulge on the salad bar and they were right. My wife and I only went once and the rest of the night we enjoyed all their fine meats they had to offer. The cheese bread was great to as it doesn't fill you up as fast as other rolls/biscuits may do. If you're looking for a romantic evening or just some great food, visit Fogo. You will not be disappointed."

  • "Great food - great service - almost wish this gem was in a different neighborhood. With the cost associated per plate it truly was a shame that our window view was a ups store. Outside of the location, everything about this place was marvelous. The good was fantastic, everything I tried was delicious and this restaurant provided a unique dining experience like no other."

  • "I have been a frequent guest at fogo for the past year and a half and there's a very good reason why. Their meats are top notch, they are seasoned to perfection and everything else that comes with them (the cheese rolls, fried bananas, even their grand selection at the salad bar) compliment one another very well. Customer service is commendable; I have had no complaints with any of the servers as they are all doing what they're supposed to do. I highly recommend this restaurant over their local competitors hands down."
