  • "Ok, I love this place, the quality of the meats is outstanding, the service is impeccable and the wines are great, however, the selections of meat is significantly smaller than in the one located in LA, so when I took friends out in Chicago for a 14 to 17 different meats dinner and it became a 8 to 10 it was not very impressive. For the rest, perfect!"

  • "We had some business guests from Tokyo and wanted to take them to a good steakhouse. We were concerned that the portion sizes of USA will shock them and they would not know what to order. Fogo came up as a choice on Open Table and knew that this was the one! Great quality salad bar, 16 meat choices, and superb service. You cannot go wrong. The cocktails and wine were great and we were able to focus on conversation rather than trying to translate menu and giving them recommendations on sides, how they want their meat cooked etc. The guests were more than impressed and I cannot forget when one of them told us that "tonight was the best day of my life!!" Thanks Fogo!!"

  • "If you have a large appetite and can eat like there is no tomorrow, this is the place for you. If your vegetarian, there is a lovely salad bar that is filling by itself. The many different meats that come to your table are cooked to perfection. You actually have a table card that is green for yes ,please come and give me more meat, or Red for stop . The drinks are particular to the country of Brazil. The service was outstanding ,you never have to ask for anything . The water is refilled ,your sides are replenished and the manager comes by several times to make sure all is well.This is great for a special occasion. It is pricey, but you get your moneys worth."

  • "This place is no joke when it comes to all you can eat. The salad bar is amazing and the meat options are plentiful. The sides that they provide are just a great and they never stop delivering. The wine list is large; however, we stuck with Brazilian drinks for dinner. Due to the price this would be more of a special occasion place for me, but that's for each person to decide. Plus, all you can eat is something in which I can't do every day. However, if you're going to go all out this would be the place to do it at. Also note that a portion of the staff from this location moved to the Rosemont location so be sure to visit them there too (the set up is exactly the same)."

  • "The food, atmosphere and service was excellent, everyone there did a great job providing a real dining experience. The only downside was that I had a reservation for 2 at 8 pm and we weren't seating until close to 9 pm. I understand how popular and crowded the place was, but what's the point of a reservation if you still have an hour wait? I would absolutely go back and eat here again, most likely on a quiet weeknight when I am more likely to be seated on time."

  • "The meats were delicious, at least 80 percent of what was offered was beef in a variety of cuts. The servers were all pleasant and prompt. Cost felt a bit high. The crowd was nice and varied, and the mood was festive. Although I knew the concept of the restaurant in advance, once we were there, it seemed a little less sociable than if we had had a more traditional style meal, which would have meant less interruptions to conversation. This restaurant, like any churrasqueria, is a good choice for meat-lovers who are interested in a festive, plentiful, but perhaps less intimate, dinner."

  • "I always enjoy going to Fogo, still my favorite. Went this time for my birthday. Evening started off well enough, but service from there wasn't what it normally is. Should have expected that things might be different since we were seated in the back by the kitchen where the meats come out. If you're ever seated there, request a different table. Normally, once the card goes green, the endless flow of meats never stops. This time not so much. It seemed like everything passed us by and even the normally attentive waitstaff seemed preoccupied with other sections nearby. We barely got anyone's attention. Much of this likely due to the fact that it was a Saturday evening, but I've been at other just as busy times, and have had amazing service."

  • "Took new potential clients. Great location. There were two frustrations, the first one was that I was looking for a valet but could not find the sign. As I walk to the entrance the sign is right by the door. Common sense would dictate to have the sign upfront by the curb. Second issue, service was great but table was too tight and felt constrained. Food was good as always and service was great."

  • "In my opinion, the service was very good, and the food was pretty good, but did not live up to expectations. I have been to both Fogo de Cao and Brazzaz one time and after my initial visits Fogo is number 2 to Brazzaz in my book. The worst piece of beef I ate while dining was the "House Special." I am not trying to be overly critical though, the remainder of the food was pretty tasty and cooked to perfection. Their salad bar is pretty small and somewhat mediocre as well only offering roughly 10-15 different sides. I don't know, maybe the night I went just wasn't a good night. However, my first impression really doesn't leave me wanting to visit again."

I'm not a big meat person but went with a friend and didn't realize you could get just the salad bar which is awesome... It even has some meat like proscuitto. The servers are very very attentive. The price point makes it perfect for a special occasion - that price is well well worth it if you are looking to get a lot of food for your money."

  • "I hadn’t been here in years but I remembered the chops and decided it was a good pick for a birthday dinner. Where else could I get my meat fix all in one place (lamb chops are THE BEST). The salad bar itself is GREAT! On the down side we had a particularly inattentive waiter... he explained that they work as a 'team'... that played itself out as, since no one person was responsible for checking on our table of 3, no one did check, at least not at intervals that prevented us from pouring our own Pellegrino, and looking for someone to notice our empty cocktails. BUT along came manager Drew Bekius and made everything more than all right. He listened and I appreciated his sincere response to our concerns. Thanks Drew – we’ll be back!"

  • "Can't remember the last time I had dined at a Fogo de Chao, but was in the mood for some serious meat. And I usually will not hit a chain when traveling--but this was not a chain experience. The meal was superb--great salad bar, huge selection of top meats, sides, delicious sangria and fabulous desserts. I've been to many other similar places, but this one is the best. The food itself was actually topped by superb service. Warm smiles and attentiveness from the hostesses upon entering, to the waiter, every server and multiple check-ins by the manager! Flawless execution. The management here is on top of its game. It was an impressive dining experience and a really enjoyable one with a few close friends. Can't wait to do it again."
