  • "Arrived 10 mins prior to my 8pm reservation. Checked in. My guest was already there before me. Was told by check in staff it would be a few minutes to be seated from the time I arrived. At 8:04 I inquired as to when me any my guest would be seated. Was told in my table is being set up for a party of 6. I survived the dinning room. It was half full with plenty of open tables (all of which was pre-set with flatware and glasses as normal), and numerous of them already had settings for 6 people. Finally at 8:12pm, my party and I were seated, without an apology for the delay or nothing. We were there for a milestone celebration with Corporate Execs, family and friends. It was embarracing for me. Reservation served me and my guest no purpose!"

  • "This restaurant, with it's outstanding salad bar, is worth going to for that alone. And, you have an option to eat only the food at the salad bar. The side items are brought to the table family style. Servers in uniform come to the table with assorted freshly cooked meats, trimmed from skewers at your place "on demand," and you can eat as much as your heart desires. It's a lot of fun for special occasions & big groups. Be ready to spend an average of $70-80pp."

  • "The food was delIcious as always, but service was a bit lacking compared to every other time I've been here. We were seated promptly, but our waiter left to get my husband's drink while I was perusing the wine list and he took a long time to come back, which left me waiting for my drink well into the salad portion of the meal. Meat service was spotty at first with gauchos walking past our table without offering meat, but it picked up and stayed at a good pace. We did wait for a final portion of picanha that never came, though. Desserts were good (try the caramelized pineapple!) but the waiter (a different one from the beginning of our meal) took my bottle of wine to recork and didn't return for close to 15 minutes."

  • "We go to Fogo a few of times a year and typically have a great experience. The last two times the service was lacking. This last time it was downright terrible. We sat at a table that was next to the wine room and salad bar so that may have contributed to some of the problem. As the gauchos came out of the kitchen they would run right past our table. Thankfully they would stop at the tables next to us and we could call them back our direction. In addition our table server basically disappeared for the first half of our meal. We had servers from other sections walk past and clear our plates. Our server basically just showed up at the end of the meal to deliver the check. If this continues we'll have to start looking for a new spot."

  • "I'm sure many people enjoy Fogo de Chao, but I won't return. The atmosphere was way too noisy, busy & crowed. I was relieved when were seated in a back room away from the crowded main dining room near the high traffic salad bar, but a very loud group was soon seated next to us. "Our" room quickly filled. I was surprised that people didn't dress appropriately for dinner on Saturday night. The food was good, but I can grill a filet that I enjoy much better. I'm not a huge meat eater and knew going in to Fogo de Chao that this would probably be a one time experience. Everyone in our party-of-three agreed that we will not return to Fogo de Chao."

They have a delicious salad bar and then you get to eat as much of their spit-fire grilled meat as you can fit in your belly, plus their little bread rolls are delicious as well. The Brazilian limeade is also delicious, with free refills! They also brought us a complimentary Creme Brûlée because we were celebrating my husband's birthday, and it was also DELICIOUS! The restaurant is a little on the pricey side ($51.50 per adult meal, not including drinks), but for a special occasion it's an excellent treat! I have heard that if you go during the week, you can go for lunch and it is half-price, but I haven't tried that."

  • "This is such a fun place to go to experience wonderfully cooked meats. AND you get to try them all. The "salad bar" is an understatement. There is way more than just salad. What a feast! Everything is cooked to perfection! The rolls are YUMMY! They're more like a popover--which I LOVE! We like to get a couple of desserts and split them with the whole table because we are so full from dinner. It's fun to try new items as a group and share great tastes. The servers were fabulous as well--very attentive without being annoying."

  • "Reservations are not required but definitely recommended. The ambiance is perfect for a great dining experience. There is a full bar in the lobby along with a bar cart that moves around the dining room. The wine list is very nice. The salad bar is huge, fresh and filled with all kinds of goodies you won't find on other salad bars. There are 5 hot sides by the salad bar in addition to those delivered to your table. There are 12 different kinds beef, pork, lamb and chicken. Requests for specific temperatures of beef are quickly honored. The meat is very flavorful, cooked perfectly and quite tender. I tried several beef portions, the lamb chops and pork sausage. All were quite delicious. The service was perfect and staff very nice."

  • "I was in Atlanta for business and often seek out a churrascaria when I travel. I had dined at a different churrascaria downtown earlier in the week and was disappointed by the quality of the meats and inattentive staff there. Although less convenient to my downtown hotel location, I grabbed a Uber ride to this Fogo de Chao in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood. As has been my experience elsewhere, Fogo de Chao did not disappoint. It was a Thursday evening, and I was glad I had an 8 PM reservation as the place was very busy. Although the server and the gauchos were extremely busy, they delivered the usual excellent experience. The salad bar was fresh and contained a diverse selection of items, and the meats were expertly prepared and seasoned."
