  • "The family had a wonderful time. This was out first time, the atmosphere and energy was wonderful. The servers were attentive and the food was exceptional. A heavenly place for meat lovers. A must have experience at least once."

  • "Fogo is always the best! Sad day in Brazil from being defeated by Germany in World Cup so you could definitely notice it in the area. Still great though!"

  • "This restaurant, with it's outstanding salad bar, is worth going to for that alone. And, you have an option to eat only the food at the salad bar. The side items are brought to the table family style. Servers in uniform come to the table with assorted freshly cooked meats, trimmed from skewers at your place "on demand," and you can eat as much as your heart desires. It's a lot of fun for special occasions & big groups. Be ready to spend an average of $70-80pp."

  • "My Fiancee' took me there for the first time for my birthday. She had been there twice before so she had kind of told me how the service was but I wasn't prepared at all for the way the meat tasted! It was outstanding and the service was impeccable! Thank you for your hospitality! Our server even covered the dessert because he had found out it was my birthday. Great job Fogo!"

  • "My husband and I decided to celebrate our 30th Anniversary there. The food was very good but the servicer was the best. They were very attentive, friendly and professional. We had a wonderful time."

  • "The food was delIcious as always, but service was a bit lacking compared to every other time I've been here. We were seated promptly, but our waiter left to get my husband's drink while I was perusing the wine list and he took a long time to come back, which left me waiting for my drink well into the salad portion of the meal. Meat service was spotty at first with gauchos walking past our table without offering meat, but it picked up and stayed at a good pace. We did wait for a final portion of picanha that never came, though. Desserts were good (try the caramelized pineapple!) but the waiter (a different one from the beginning of our meal) took my bottle of wine to recork and didn't return for close to 15 minutes."

  • "I took my brother and sister in law for a celebratory grad dinner. It was great atmosphere. My toddler loved the salads and the chicken drumsticks!!"

  • "Great meat of course, but best salad bar around, fabulous sides and great desserts"

  • "We go to Fogo a few of times a year and typically have a great experience. The last two times the service was lacking. This last time it was downright terrible. We sat at a table that was next to the wine room and salad bar so that may have contributed to some of the problem. As the gauchos came out of the kitchen they would run right past our table. Thankfully they would stop at the tables next to us and we could call them back our direction. In addition our table server basically disappeared for the first half of our meal. We had servers from other sections walk past and clear our plates. Our server basically just showed up at the end of the meal to deliver the check. If this continues we'll have to start looking for a new spot."

  • "I'm sure many people enjoy Fogo de Chao, but I won't return. The atmosphere was way too noisy, busy & crowed. I was relieved when were seated in a back room away from the crowded main dining room near the high traffic salad bar, but a very loud group was soon seated next to us. "Our" room quickly filled. I was surprised that people didn't dress appropriately for dinner on Saturday night. The food was good, but I can grill a filet that I enjoy much better. I'm not a huge meat eater and knew going in to Fogo de Chao that this would probably be a one time experience. Everyone in our party-of-three agreed that we will not return to Fogo de Chao."

  • "The manager John always has a friendly and warm smile as he greets us, making sure everything is perfect! Carlos, one of the servers, continuously goes that extra mile to make sure we have what we want food wise. Michael, the valet, greets us with a friendly and warm greeting. All in all, these three people are why we continuously come back!!!!!"

  • "My husband loves Fogo de Chao. They have a delicious salad bar and then you get to eat as much of their spit-fire grilled meat as you can fit in your belly, plus their little bread rolls are delicious as well. The Brazilian limeade is also delicious, with free refills! They also brought us a complimentary Creme Brûlée because we were celebrating my husband's birthday, and it was also DELICIOUS! The restaurant is a little on the pricey side ($51.50 per adult meal, not including drinks), but for a special occasion it's an excellent treat! I have heard that if you go during the week, you can go for lunch and it is half-price, but I haven't tried that."

  • "It took too long to get meat. With the prices it should be quicker service. Probably won't be back."

  • "Very nice restaurant! However not a place for a romantic date. I love the place though and will surely go again!"
    Dined on 6/14/2014
  • "We had a good time and enjoyed the experience; however, looking at the final cost, I believe the dollars you pay exceed the overall received value. I would say prices are 20% off."

  • "We started going for special occasions several years ago ... birthdays, graduations, anniversaries. The meats and salad bar are the best I know of, but the service is what make it extraordinary."

  • "This is such a fun place to go to experience wonderfully cooked meats. AND you get to try them all. The "salad bar" is an understatement. There is way more than just salad. What a feast! Everything is cooked to perfection! The rolls are YUMMY! They're more like a popover--which I LOVE! We like to get a couple of desserts and split them with the whole table because we are so full from dinner. It's fun to try new items as a group and share great tastes. The servers were fabulous as well--very attentive without being annoying."

  • "Fogo has THE best cuts of meat - their "special" meat is the best ( I can't remember the cut). Their salad bar is way more than salad, you could make a hardy meal there. The Brazilian drink, Guarana, is delicious and a must try. Overall, my husband and I love this place."

  • "Great for parties small and large... excellent variety in both salad bar and meat selection. You can also have your meats cooked to order (I like my filet more on the well done side) which they're happy to accomodate. Great value when compared to lesser brazilian steakhouses."

  • "Reservations are not required but definitely recommended. The ambiance is perfect for a great dining experience. There is a full bar in the lobby along with a bar cart that moves around the dining room. The wine list is very nice. The salad bar is huge, fresh and filled with all kinds of goodies you won't find on other salad bars. There are 5 hot sides by the salad bar in addition to those delivered to your table. There are 12 different kinds beef, pork, lamb and chicken. Requests for specific temperatures of beef are quickly honored. The meat is very flavorful, cooked perfectly and quite tender. I tried several beef portions, the lamb chops and pork sausage. All were quite delicious. The service was perfect and staff very nice."

  • "I remember eating here before and it was amazing and above any other Brazilian steakhouse I'd tried. While good in all areas, it wasn't great as I was expecting. Don't get me wrong, worth every dollar spent, just not amazing. "

  • "I was in Atlanta for business and often seek out a churrascaria when I travel. I had dined at a different churrascaria downtown earlier in the week and was disappointed by the quality of the meats and inattentive staff there. Although less convenient to my downtown hotel location, I grabbed a Uber ride to this Fogo de Chao in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood. As has been my experience elsewhere, Fogo de Chao did not disappoint. It was a Thursday evening, and I was glad I had an 8 PM reservation as the place was very busy. Although the server and the gauchos were extremely busy, they delivered the usual excellent experience. The salad bar was fresh and contained a diverse selection of items, and the meats were expertly prepared and seasoned."

  • "As the title implies, it IS possible to FOGO to hard.... last time we went, about the 10th time going, as we were walking up an ambulance roared in and ran inside to ultimately bring a diner outside on a stretcher... I hope he is OK but enough gossip. This is one if the best restaurants I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot of nice places including: Ruth's Chris, Chops lobster bar, Bistro Nikos, 101 West, Sun Dial, Melting Pot, Veni Vidi Vici, etc... and still Fogo is top 3.. BUT if your looking for a nice QUITE dinner I wouldn't but if noise doesn't bother you then try it. 50 bucks each for dinner is amazing deal. "

  • "This was my 2nd visit to Fogo, & it didn't disappoint. I can't wait to go back! The sides are delicious, especially the bananas. The servers are very meticulous about replacing the sides. They replace them quickly, perhaps too quickly. The meat is very delicious, and the papaya cream is to die for, I would definitely come back just for that. I wish they had a larger variety of meats (although to most people, the selection they have is plenty.) and I wish my server told me about the special Valentine's Day cocktail they were serving for that weekend only because I wanted to try it but I didn't see it until after I had another cocktail. The best part of the evening was the free gift card enclosed with the receipt for a free meal! :D"
