food and service were very good. arrived early and was seated right away - no problem. eaten at focacceria about 5/6 times in the last 2 years while visiting nyc from out of town. great place for anyone who enjoys watching greenwich village life go by.

Chicken was hard, rubbery and inedible. Waiter charged us for it anyway even though we couldn't eat it. Should have listened to our gut and skipped the restaurant with no customers!!

The food was absolutely delicious!! I had the Gnocci Bolognese, and my friend had a Brocolli-Pasta-Vegetable (We cant remember the exact name fo the dish) dish. They wereboth very very delicious and we left happy and full. We had a bit of a hard time finding the restaurant, patially because we were new to NYC. The service was very good. Our waitress had good timing in that she didn't come to our table too often or too little. Its a very cute and quaint little place with a good vibe. I highly reccommend it to anyone in need of some good Italian food.

In terms of atmosphere, it's a typical Bleeker Street restaurant with outside seating. The only thing is there was construction going on in the neighborhood, and I had to sit inside despite the beautiful spring weather. Lunch for only $10 and good food!

I live in CA,but I visit NY once a year and Focacceria has been on my must do list for the Village since 2002. My most recent visit however, will be my last. New owner and although the menu remains the same(but a LOT more $$)sadly the food just isn't that good. The one thing, however, that turned me off forever,is that although I had an Open Table reservation(I am a VIP member,my friend and I were ASKED TO LEAVE SO THAT ANOTHER PARTY COULD HAVE OUR TABLE! There were other tables available and just because some slick, loudmouthed guy who had 3 young chicks with him barked an order, a waiter has no right to ask us to leave. I hadn't seen my friend for over 2 years and we were talking and catching up. We didn't leave, but I'll never go back again.

very small with 8 or 10 tables. Food was good. Soup was homey. A big surprise was the rice-meatball which was very good. Only complaint: the host could have been more welcoming.

A group of 8 of us needed to find last minute dining on a Friday night...we found Focacceria through pure luck and we were SO LUCKY. The food was amazing and extremely affordable. The restaurant arranged a special table for us within 45 minutes of our reservation and the staff was excellent.
