  • "The look is very nice, the service was very good. Speical occasion. My husband ordered salmon w/risoto and it was good although he found the fish too peppery. I ordered the filet w/broccolini & Flint potatoes. I suppose I should have asked what Flint potatoes were. I assumed some type of mashed. When our food came the salmon dish was nice and hot. My steak and broc was luke warm and my potatoes were refridgerator cold inside. They took it back to heat up (and took 10% off of our bill) but meanwhile my hyusband had to eat without me or let his get cold. The steak was very tender but over spiced the potatoes were hot but far too strong flavored/over rich with some kind of cheese and pools of standing oil or butter. Dissapointed."

  • "We had our anniversary dinner here, the service was great they gave us the best table as we mentioned when we making the reservation that this is for our anniversary. We love the Jalapeno hush puppies for the starter. They gave us free dessert as compliment for the anniversary. Excellent dining experienced."

  • "I ordered the Riesling chicken and it was over seasoned, and it was in a pool of grease at the bottom of the plate. We ordered the sword fish which was good but the side salad thar came with it was drowned In grease. Our waiter only came to the table one time. He didn't have "a menu printed out for us to look at" either. Wouldn't recommend. I am a waitress and this is terrible service and food for an expensive price."

  • "We were in town for the US Senior Open Golf Tournament and wanted to eat one nice dinner while there. We picked the right place! The special for the evening was Steak Oscar which was superb as were the Scallops. Both were served with unusual and very tasty sides - purple garlic potatoes, butternut squash, candied spinach. Flint has a great drink menu as well. I would recommend the Spa Martini for a very refreshing summer drink. Our server, Christina, helped us select a great meal and gave his tips on enjoying an evening in the Bricktown area. Flint also has a great outdoor dining area with live music."

  • "I stayed at the Colcord with a friend over the weekend so we had dinner at Flint. Though our waiter was polite he was just inattentive and it took us quite a while to get our food. He forgot about our bread for 45 minutes even though the restaurant was not even half full.. nevertheless, it was fantastic food and worth the wait and fairly high price!"

  • "Décor is great. Walking to the bar by the fireplace area was tight. Wait staff very attentive, but not overbearing. Food was presented well and very good. Asked waiter to give us some time between appetizer, salad and dinner...great, didn't feel rushed. Nice, large outdoor seating area. Too bad there is not a section there for cigar smokers."

  • "My wife and I had a family dinner 2 years ago at Flint (served upstairs in the hotel) right before our wedding. So we came back to celebrate our 2-year anniversary. I included that detail in my reservation, and when we got there, they brought us to a quiet, secluded table and brought out the bartender, who had made us an aperitif to get started. He also brought us a nightcap with our dessert, on the house. They really went out of their way to help us celebrate our anniversary. And of course the rest of the food was great. We started out with wine & the charcuterie plate. I had a perfectly cooked filet, and my wife had the prawns - both excellent. Our server and the manager were so nice - professional, while still making us feel welcome."

  • "Wonderful experience both times we visited for brunch on Sundays. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are delicious. I subbed the Papaya Chutney with the Berry Compote that normally goes on the French Toast (which is amazing). Their Apple Wood Smoked Bacon is delicious, too! Mimosas are made with fresh squeezed orange juice!"

  • "We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at Flint. Service was great. My wife can not eat dairy. Some of the things on the menu had dairy. Instead of the server making the decision she went and asked if sides could be substituted and there was no probelm at all. They went above what they should have and I appreciated it. We will return to Flint to enjoy their food again."

  • "I rarely write reviews but after reading some not-so-flattering ones about this restaurant, I was so pleasantly surprised! I put service second to the taste of the food so I went anyway. Service was outstanding! Don't know if they fixed the problems or if the reviewer was the problem, but everything about it was divine. The sea bass was delicious, and the pear salad scrumptious. And it has a cool atmosphere. This was my first time in Oklahoma City and Flint sure gave me a good impression of the city."

  • "Group of four on a Sat night so the place was busy but had outstanding service. The manager came to check on us because he thought the meal was taking too long to arrive - we hadn't noticed. He gave us a round of desserts for the delay which was completely unexpected, but delicous. Three of us had steaks - all wonderfully seasoned and prepared. They could be cut by drawing your knife across the meat. This is the only place other than 501 Ranch where'll I'll order a steak. Given the steak choices in OKC that's high praise. A valet in front of the building makes parking a breeze, so don't let that keep you away from this great downtown restaurant. If you want a romantice weekend stay-cation the Colcord is next door and fits the bill."

  • "The lunch menu is very limited and did not offer a variety of meal options. Additionally, the service was terrible. The waitstaff (according to our ticket went by "HappyF") was far from happy, did not make eye contact and acted put out when asked what the sides are with the meal. It took far too long to get our meal, we had to flag a hostess to request refills of our beverages, and it took more than 45 minutes to flag yet another waitstaff to request our check. I was sadly disappointed with our meal as I had high expectations for Flints."

  • "I have eaten a lot of chicken in my life, and I've eaten it prepared in a multitude of different ways, but the roasted Riesling chicken I had at Flint was the tastiest of them all. Absolutely phenomenal. The hummus was so-so, but everything else was superb. For a nice evening out, this was worth it. Prior to tipping, we ordered an appetizer, two entrees, two cocktails, and two desserts for around $75."

  • "Visited Flint for a special occasion. We started with the jalapeño hush puppies, which gave a nice crunchy exterior. Especially liked the chile sauce with them. I had the sea bass which was amazing! It is served with risotto and this was the best risotto I have had anywhere. We finished with a Chocolate Pave cake-liked the cake but did not like the sauce served with it. Nice atmosphere - modern and clean. Mandy was our waitstaff and she was very good!"

  • "We walked through ten empty tables and booths before we were seated in the very last booth in the back of the restaurant. The waitress was curt and not helpful when we asked for suggestions, it was obvious she didn't want to wait on us. The $12 turkey burger was a bad imitation of the one I had when the restaurant first opened. The bread was dry, meat over-salty and thin. I won't be back."

  • "Nice restaurant in a luxury hotel. Drinks were unique and delicious. All service was on time. We made a reservation and everything was set up when we got there. I ordered the hanger steak with broccoli and mac n cheese, because I had had it before and I love their take on mac n cheese. The only complaint I have it that a couple slices of the steak were a bit grissly. The scallops that came with it could have been a little more crispy on the outside, but they were still good. I will be back again."

  • "Our group of five had the trout (excellent), the salmon (very tasty with delicious risotto), and the mixed grill (got rave reviews and was served with wonderful mac and cheese). The two couples split the salmon and mixed grill - plenty for all. We also tried the mediterranean salad - easily enough for two. Love the updated decor. Valet parking is free and was a real plus. We'll come back. We just had to walk across the street to see Twelfthnight."

  • "This was our second visit. My salmon was excellent, just as the sea bass was the previous time there. My wife loved the prawns she had; we shared tastes as agreed on the perfect preparation. Service was friendly and attentive. Our only complaint is that the booth backs are too upright to be relaxing and comfortable. Another issue is that valet parking is generally a necessity as the restaurant has no parking otherwise; if no activities are going on in the nearby downtown area and if one arrives early enough to find a spot, then it's not much of a problem. Otherwise, valet. Nonetheless, we will go back - Flint is becoming a downtown fave for us."

  • "Great great food. Salmon and trout were delicious. Service left a lot to be desired. It was Game 3 and a Sunday, but waiting >15 minutes for the waitress to come neck with our water, and another 15 to get our check after she said she would bring it was a bit long. She was super nice and friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu, just a bad night maybe. Would go back for sure!"

  • "My group plans Sunday brunch/lunch before each of our Civic Center performances. The waitperson heard me mention the BLT and she highly recommended it as her favorite and I know why! Refreshing menus items not found on other brunch menus made me want to come back often and try rest the menu. But loved the BLT and apricot slaw so much, I would probably end up ordering them over and over!"

  • "This was my 2nd time to Flint and it didn't disappoint at all. I brought a friend for his 1st time and he had the Hallah French Toast and he said it was amazing, this coming from a Jewish young man is a true compliment to your Chef. I've only been there for Brunch but do plan to return for other meals especially dinner to try the Lamb. Ur staff is very courteous and they never over step their bounds with coming to the table too much, just enough actually. Ty for an awesome experience. I recommend you to my friends and Hotel guests too."

  • "Go there! Oh, my, that was unbelievable: mushroom and butternut squash fried raviolli with a great sauce...ok, I'll try. I'm a veggie, chefs hate me. But none of my other 3 in party were. My hubby said swordfish w chutney was best he'd ever had, and we've travelled. Other friend loved black and blue salad (bleu cheese and blackened steak) sorry, flint, 4th didn't like salmon cakes, too spicy. You have an excellent chef, keep him. "

  • "I have frequented Flint over the past year quite often. I love the food and the interior, I also love their outdoor dining space. We go there for Brunch and Lunch and for the most part I have had a positive experience. I have noticed though a decline in the quality of the staff. On two sepereate occasions I have visited and been given a wrong order. Most recently, a client took me there for lunch and I had to feed the meter TWICE. We were in there for 2 hours and not because the conversation was good, becuase the food took two hours to get to the table. Being downtown and the fact that you have to reserve a table would leave me to beleive that something like this shouldn't happen."

  • "I would have to say I was highly disappointed in my experience with Flint this past Mother's Day (also my birthday). Perhaps they were just ill prepared for holiday dining? First of all I made reservations & when we got there was told they couldn't accomodate us(?) & asked if we minded to sit out on the patio. We agreed thinking we would be sitting in the nicer patio area, that has glass walls & a fireplace, but were put out along the side of the building (in the 30mph winds). Service was extremely SLOW & at one point were even told they'd forgotten about us. Our waitress was completely incompetent & made no attempt to hide it. Our food came out cold & one order not only came out later than the others, but came out incomplete."

  • "Reservation at 12. Seated at 12:03. Served at 12:50. Flint was not prepared for their reservations. Food fair. Service attention was needy. But it was a holiday so we'll try again. The hostess desk is located in a far corner of the restaurant and difficult to access. Hallway-walk area was littered w/spills from the service counter. 1 server fell. Some serious re-routing of area & a safer floor covering is needed. We were led through this area & had to dodge obvious spills. "
