We highly recommend Flint. Excellent food, always prepared properly and very friendly and attentive staff. Grilled salmon and hamburgers are always outstanding! Seats near the fireplace at southend are in short supply on chilly nights. You won't be disappointed by dining at Flint!

My husband and I were out for a romantic evening, and flint was the perfect place. Our server was informative and friendly, but not overbearing. My husband had the sea bass, and he enjoyed it very much. I had the roasted chicken with spinach and potato wedges. It was good but too salty. We shared a pumpkin Christmasl cheesecake, and it was fabulous!

We had a business meeting at Flint for 7 people. They did a great job of serving our table and making sure we were taken care of. All the food came out as ordered and it was really good. I had the filet. Good flavor. I almost wish I had a little bit of the pea risoto that's served with the salmon to go with it. Overall it was a good experience and would have no problem recommending it to someone for a nice dinner out.

WE told our server uon arrival that we had tickets for show at 7. we arrived at 5:30 we should beplenty of time. at 6:20 our entrees had not arrived. a few minutes after that food arrived and was very good, but unfortunate that we didnt have much time to truly enjoy. Also we had to ask for bread on the table. The waiter did his best but I dont think the kitchen was cooperating.

Good food, decent prices but too 40 min just to get appetizer and another 20 min for food. Water never was refilled. We were one of like 4 guests so I am not sure why everything took so long

Flint is typical of restaurants situated in downtown hotels in major American cities. The menu doesn't have much in the way of unusual dishes, but they what they do make, they make well. I enjoyed a turkey burger that was not dried out, and my server brought out ketchup and mustard at my request. I could have used more seasoning (e.g. salt) on the turkey burger, but otherwise, it was good. The burger and bun matched in size, and the bun was substantial enough to hold up the burger while I ate it. My date's shrimp and grits was disappointing. The shrimp were tiny salad shrimp size, not the cocktail shrimp size that I expected them to be. The cheesy grits were indeed cheesy, though. We both enjoyed the fancy chicken fingers appetizer.

I was extremely disappointed with the wait staff! Our waitress ignored our table while carrying on a conversation with another table for the greater part of 20 minutes. When our appetizers arrived the buffalo chili was cold. When we finally got her attention away from the table she magnetized back to she appeared frustrated with us for bringing the cold chili to her attention. Yet she took the chili to the back and replaced it with a new chili. Then when our entree's arrived of the four, one was the wrong order. We waited another 15 minutes to get the correct entree. Disregarding all of this we decided to order dessert. However, there were multiple items which were "out". I asked to speak to the manager and waited another 15 minutes for it.

We really like their weekend brunch menu. Everything is good. We have been there for dinner and lunch too but think brunch is their best effort. Sometimes dinner service is not up to std because of the number of patrons and is a bit pricey. Outside patio dining in fall and spring are great and bar is very good. Excellent spot for after Thunder game cocktails. Wine list is very good but not huge. All in all, Flint is restaurant you should give a try when in downtown OKC.

Beautiful ambience, wonderful service & food you won't forget. Great location for dinner before or after any downtown event. With views of the waterfall at Myriad Gardens, the scenic & cozy patio & the decor inside, you can't go wrong with the ambience Flint creates. They have a wonderful kitchen & wait staff, but you have to give credit to the hotel staff that greets you as well. They have a small but well suited menu. My husband & I went before a concert during the week & had a wonderful dining experience. I had the Roasted Pork Tenderloin Pear gastrique, sweet potato puree, sautéed shaved Brussels sprouts. It was fabulous! Pork cooked perfectly tender, Brussels sprouts not overcooked, brilliant flavors! Wine & drink selection suits.

I dined here for lunch with three co-workers. We were told we would have a 20 min wait, even though there were a few open tables AND we had a reservation. When we brought it up again to the hostess that we had a reservation, she rudely asked, "when did you make it?" When I politely responded that a reservation is a reservation, we were immediately seated at the table by the hostess stand. We sat for 10 min before someone filled our waters and took our drink order. The entire service experience was slow, due to the fact that we never saw our server until he picked up the check that the hostess dropped off. The hostess even had to take our food order. Overall, a really bad experience.

I dined here with my two friends for brunch. We had good food and our waitress was very nice. We were seated by a window which was also a nice location. Overall good experience and not too expensive for brunch. I had a mimosa, coffee, pancakes and a side of bacon for $18. The only complaint I had was that the service was a bit slow and it took awhile for us to get our food.

We came in at 1 PM on a sunday really hoping to have gnocchi or something else off the lunch menu. Unfortunately, we were only allowed to order off the breakfast/brunch menu, which is really just a very good breakfast menu. The food was excellent and the device was great, we were just disappointed in that we had eaten breakfast already at 6 am and were hoping for lunch type food. Had we know it was brunch, we may have gone elsewhere. The BLT was excellent, however.

We enjoyed a lovely evening on the terrace at Flint. We ordered three appetizers to share, and it was plenty of food. The tomato salad was basically a Caprese, only with avocado which was a nice bonus. The sweet potato gnocchi was very good, and the shrimp tacos were delicious! The setting is great, a semi-enclosed patio with a nice view of the Devon Tower and the Myriad Gardens across the street. The best part of the evening was the great service!!!

The food was good, but unfortunately, they ran out of three of the different wines that I wanted to order, (all conveniently less expensive wines than what I ended up with...) and they when it got to desert, they were out of the one we wanted to order, too. If we were dining late, I could understand this, but our reservation was for 7 PM on a Monday...Unfortunately, I've dined here before and this isn't the first time that they have run out of menu items. The fried ravioli was a good value & the veggie ragout that was served with it was tasty. The waiter was also accommodating of a special (i.e. not menu) request by my friend & he was very apologetic about the wine and food shortages.

Unfortunately horrible experience. I have dined at this place many times and it has slowly gone downhill. I brought friends this time visiting from Dubai to have lunch downtown. It took 20 minutes for someone to take drink orders. We were then told that they do not have mimosas at 2pm on a Saturday. After prodding and inquiring about if they had orange juice and champagne, both of which were in stock, we were able to convince the server that they did indeed have mimosas. We were then sold on trying the Sam Adams seasonal beer but when we asked what was in season they were out of stock. 30 minutes later our orders were taken. The decision wasn't difficult though because there were about 4 entrees on the afternoon menu to choose from. Sad.

I like Flint and like the food. I have never gotten anything that I didn't like. However, in the past six months I have noticed that the service is lacking just a little bit. The servers aren't attentive and I don't mean they have to be at your table every 60 seconds, but they just aren't very attentive. The servers used to be better at being attentive.

The only negative was that the mac and cheese was a little bland and I wish fine dining would just put salt and pepper on the table. Seasoning of food varies person to person and I like my food a little salty. We shared the hummus and it's great. We both had the hanger steak with scallops, broccolini and Mac and cheese. The desserts are also quite good. I've been four times now and have always enjoyed the food. Steaks have been cooked perfectly each time. The place has great ambience. Our server was top notch.

I selected the Flint because it was close to the Civic Center. This shouldn't have been a factor. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent and the food was to die for. For a Sunday Brunch, the menu was very limited-if they are only going to offer the breakfast menu at noon on Sunday it needs to be expanded. The food was fair, service slightly worse. Good location so may try again in the evening for Dinner possibly. Based on our experience we could not recommend.
