I was on a calorie restrictive diet and my sister is a vegan, and Ashley was promptly our ambassador between our table and the kitchen staff. The kitchen was unable to provide an exact calorie count on some dishes, but Ashley was able to make an informed suggestion. We both opted for the Spinach salad and a latte, and the kitchen offered to custom make a vegan entree for my sister, which included sauteed vegetables and egg whites, co-served by Ashley and the manager.

Each dish was prepared perfectly and the various flavors were perfectly balanced. We tried the 7oz filet, something we usually reserve for the 501 Ranch. We've been to all the steak places here in OKC, including the ultra expensive venues and 501 Ranch is the best place for steak. However, on this night we choose the steak and it was among the best I've ever eaten, including chop houses across the globe. It was cooked perfectly and buttery smooth and tender. My only complaint is that the scalloped potatoes were too heavy for the meal.
Even though we are OKC residents, we stayed at the Colcord for the weekend and dined at Flint. It's a fantastic combination and a treat you deserve.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGood Food DowntownI love the casual, relaxed feel of this restaurant. Located in the Colcord hotel downtown it is a convenient choice for anyone for lunch. Free valet parking for diners takes away the worry of parking and the food is definitely worth it. If you decide to try Flint, I would suggest the meatloaf on a bed of cheddar mashed potatoes. The Flat Iron Steak is another favorite.
