  • Great Brunch in Downtown OKC

We really like their weekend brunch menu. Everything is good. We have been there for dinner and lunch too but think brunch is their best effort. Sometimes dinner service is not up to std because of the number of patrons and is a bit pricey. Outside patio dining in fall and spring are great and bar is very good. Excellent spot for after Thunder game cocktails. Wine list is very good but not huge. All in all, Flint is restaurant you should give a try when in downtown OKC.

While the menu was somewhat limited, the food was tasty and just different enough to be interesting. The presentation was nice but the portions were somewhat on the small side...probably large enough for most when but most men might not be satisfied.

Beautiful ambience, wonderful service & food you won't forget. Great location for dinner before or after any downtown event. With views of the waterfall at Myriad Gardens, the scenic & cozy patio & the decor inside, you can't go wrong with the ambience Flint creates. They have a wonderful kitchen & wait staff, but you have to give credit to the hotel staff that greets you as well. They have a small but well suited menu. My husband & I went before a concert during the week & had a wonderful dining experience. I had the Roasted Pork Tenderloin Pear gastrique, sweet potato puree, sautéed shaved Brussels sprouts. It was fabulous! Pork cooked perfectly tender, Brussels sprouts not overcooked, brilliant flavors! Wine & drink selection suits.

I dined here for lunch with three co-workers. We were told we would have a 20 min wait, even though there were a few open tables AND we had a reservation. When we brought it up again to the hostess that we had a reservation, she rudely asked, "when did you make it?" When I politely responded that a reservation is a reservation, we were immediately seated at the table by the hostess stand. We sat for 10 min before someone filled our waters and took our drink order. The entire service experience was slow, due to the fact that we never saw our server until he picked up the check that the hostess dropped off. The hostess even had to take our food order. Overall, a really bad experience.

I dined here with my two friends for brunch. We had good food and our waitress was very nice. We were seated by a window which was also a nice location. Overall good experience and not too expensive for brunch. I had a mimosa, coffee, pancakes and a side of bacon for $18. The only complaint I had was that the service was a bit slow and it took awhile for us to get our food.

We came in at 1 PM on a sunday really hoping to have gnocchi or something else off the lunch menu. Unfortunately, we were only allowed to order off the breakfast/brunch menu, which is really just a very good breakfast menu. The food was excellent and the device was great, we were just disappointed in that we had eaten breakfast already at 6 am and were hoping for lunch type food. Had we know it was brunch, we may have gone elsewhere. The BLT was excellent, however.

We enjoyed a lovely evening on the terrace at Flint. We ordered three appetizers to share, and it was plenty of food. The tomato salad was basically a Caprese, only with avocado which was a nice bonus. The sweet potato gnocchi was very good, and the shrimp tacos were delicious! The setting is great, a semi-enclosed patio with a nice view of the Devon Tower and the Myriad Gardens across the street. The best part of the evening was the great service!!!

The food was good, but unfortunately, they ran out of three of the different wines that I wanted to order, (all conveniently less expensive wines than what I ended up with...) and they when it got to desert, they were out of the one we wanted to order, too. If we were dining late, I could understand this, but our reservation was for 7 PM on a Monday...Unfortunately, I've dined here before and this isn't the first time that they have run out of menu items. The fried ravioli was a good value & the veggie ragout that was served with it was tasty. The waiter was also accommodating of a special (i.e. not menu) request by my friend & he was very apologetic about the wine and food shortages.

Unfortunately horrible experience. I have dined at this place many times and it has slowly gone downhill. I brought friends this time visiting from Dubai to have lunch downtown. It took 20 minutes for someone to take drink orders. We were then told that they do not have mimosas at 2pm on a Saturday. After prodding and inquiring about if they had orange juice and champagne, both of which were in stock, we were able to convince the server that they did indeed have mimosas. We were then sold on trying the Sam Adams seasonal beer but when we asked what was in season they were out of stock. 30 minutes later our orders were taken. The decision wasn't difficult though because there were about 4 entrees on the afternoon menu to choose from. Sad.

I like Flint and like the food. I have never gotten anything that I didn't like. However, in the past six months I have noticed that the service is lacking just a little bit. The servers aren't attentive and I don't mean they have to be at your table every 60 seconds, but they just aren't very attentive. The servers used to be better at being attentive.

The only negative was that the mac and cheese was a little bland and I wish fine dining would just put salt and pepper on the table. Seasoning of food varies person to person and I like my food a little salty. We shared the hummus and it's great. We both had the hanger steak with scallops, broccolini and Mac and cheese. The desserts are also quite good. I've been four times now and have always enjoyed the food. Steaks have been cooked perfectly each time. The place has great ambience. Our server was top notch.

I selected the Flint because it was close to the Civic Center. This shouldn't have been a factor. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent and the food was to die for. Their macaroni and cheese was the best I ever had. Steak was cooked just right and it made the whole evening. I highly recommend the Flint for dinner and a night out on the town.

My wife and I arrived earlier than our reservation after an event at the Civic Center. The friendly staff was ready for us and ushered us right to our table. Our waiter was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. The food was ok but not spectacular. I certainly am not complaining about the quality of the food but for the overall cost of the dinner, there are other places around OKC to which I would rather return.

For a Sunday Brunch, the menu was very limited-if they are only going to offer the breakfast menu at noon on Sunday it needs to be expanded. The food was fair, service slightly worse. Good location so may try again in the evening for Dinner possibly. Based on our experience we could not recommend.

Great date night restaurant, save up because you will likely pay upwards of $60 for two people, but for a romantic date night and some of the best food in town this is the place to go. I had the hanger steak with scallops, broccolini and mac and cheese (not your mundane every day mac and cheese, this was killer and brought to another level). The steak was cooked perfectly (one of, if not the best, steak I've ever had), the scallops were delicious with the perfect sear and the mac and cheese was perfectly creamy, but not too overwhelmingly heavy. Excellent meal, if you have the extra cash to go to a nice dinner then this is the place to go.

I've now been to Flint twice, several months apart. Both times, the food was lackluster and overpriced, which is frustrating given its prime location and gorgeous interiors. We simply have not felt that our meals were worth their steep price. Similarly, Flint is primarily staffed with unknowledgable, though kind, servers. My first trip, the server did not know what a doppio espresso was, despite it's presence on the menu. The latest trip, the server struggled to pronounce the special, including the words bouillabaisse and fennel. It simply has lent itself to dining at Flint being an unenjoyable experience.

My wife and I arrived about 45 minutes before our reservation, so we went to the bar and had a couple of drinks. Bartenders were very good and the décor is cool. When seated, we were waited on quickly by a very friendly waitress. My wife enjoyed her house salad, while I had the very tasty jalapeno hushpuppies with a spicy/sweet sauce. We both enjoyed our entrees. My wife's filet was great and my swordfish was pretty good. For desert, we shared a banana pie, which was good, but not great. Overall, I would rate our whole experience as very good. The restaurant has a cool vibe and is only a block from Chesapeake Arena. All of the servers and the valet folks were very friendly and provided excellent service.
