Great Service.I go to Fleming a few times a year in West Hartford and it's always a great night out. The restaurant is usually very busy, it's very nice inside, and the food is always good although I in my opinion a little expensive compared to other close by competition. This last trip I went on a Tuesday night with my wife and it was a quieter than usual night. We had a waitress named Stephanie and we cannot say enough about how excellent she was. She made our dinner so enjoyable from the conversation to her recommendations. Seated immediately by helpful wait staff and provided with interactive wine list immediately. Service was very good, left enough time between checking on us so as not to be a bother but never too long where we were looking for them. Incredible food, a la carte portions so be careful to order a side or a salad to start off before digging in to your steak. Small plates sliced filet was delicious! Molten lava cake was exceptional as well. The appetizer BBQ shrimp was a HUGE disappointment. $15 gets you four small, extremely overcooked and dry shrimp. Service was impeccable and food was great, but many of the items we like are the same in the bar a dining room but far cheaper at the bar. Would rather eat at the bar for a third the cost. Regardless, we had a great time and Flemings kindly gave us a gift when I mentioned it was my birthday.
