Diner Reviews
  • "We have been to Flemings for the last 2 anniversaries we celebrated. Both times food, & service was great! Last night was a bit disappointing as to the location of our table. They put us in a booth right next to the bar, so people sitting at tables in the bar on the other side of the half wall could see right into our table & could basically hear our conversation. It was also very loud. Last year, they put us in the back section which was a lot more private & a lot less noisy. We had stated both times it was our anniversary. I guess next time we will have to be very specific in our request. Because of this we just ate our meal & left. Hard to be romantic with all the noise & we couldn't hear what the other was saying!"

  • "Husband and I went for our anniversary. Great ambiance. Several of the waite staff and management told us Happy Anniversary. We were given a little box of chocolates and a coupon for a future dinner prior to leaving as an anniversary gift. That was a nice touch. The food was great. Great steak! Fleming's potatoes were excellent. Of course the Soufle Dessert was great! The waite staff were very attentive and excellent. Wine was great. This restaurant tends to be high priced, but the quality is excellent and if you plan on spending around $200 in advance, there will not be any surprises and you won't be dissappointed. Overall we had an excellent evening!"

  • "This was our first time at this restaurant and we were impressed. Kate and Sarah at the front reception area were wonderful and our waiter and helper asked us if we were satisfied and helped get me a to go box because it was plentiful. i had the crab cakes and we split a bowl of french onion soup( they even put it in two bowls for us). The bread was warm and they brought us extra. My husband had the steak and it was fantastic, and done perfectly. I also had a loaded baked potato with all the trimmings on the side. we had a German reisling and it was fabulous. We will deffinitely go back again. we went to the location in Summerlin. We have dined at many other restaurants in Vegas, but this was by far the friendliest. The price was about $115."

  • "Not only are Flemings' steaks good, but the seafood and other entrees offer a great selection of food you can always count on tasting delicious. Service is always good and the noise level never gets out of hand."

  • "My husband and I love this place. You are always treated well from the moment you walk in the door. Steaks are great and so are the desserts. Our server Justin was awesome and spent a lot of time taking care of us. Thanks Flemings!"

  • "First time here, was everything I'd expect from an upper scale steakhouse. Nice and accommodating staff, good service. Good menu selection. Everything arrived as ordered and was delicious. Steak was prepared perfectly. Will be dining here again in the future."

  • "Everything was spot on...perfect service, food, timing, etc. very enjoyable evening!"

  • "Service was excellent. The food was mostly good, but not exceptional. The "name" items were uneven--the Fleming's salad was mediocre and could have been made at home, and made better. But the Fleming's potatoes were special and delicious. The filet was tasty and the onion soup was good. Three orders of ahi tuna got mixed reviews but none better than OK. BBQ shrimp were spicy and the sauce was very good. The halibut was rather bland, but happened to work well with the Fleming's potatoes and the cauliflower that came with it which had a little zip. We enjoyed the meal and the service, but some of the food was a little flawed which, given the prices was a little disappointing, but nothing was bad enough to ruin our good evening."

  • "My wife absolutely loves their filet mignon and they do know how to get it perfectly medium rare. I had the halibut and it was just okay. But the server was very nice and we like the atmosphere. We'll be back...and I'll stick to the ribeye."

  • "You would think for a steakhouse, they would get it right the first time, Requested my filet mignon medium, pink inside and it came out rare, had to send it back, by the time I got it back, the baked potato was cold."

  • "We are regulars here and always appreciate that the ambience lends itself to a dining experience. We are never rushed and the service is always impeccable. The steaks are the best in Las Vegas. Period."

  • "Despite the hype, Flemings is a middle of the road experience. Steaks (their specialty) are good, but not great. Too many other better steakhouses in Las Vegas (Ruth Chris's, Binions, The Steakhouse at Circus Circus, Ballys, etc). Also Flemings is horrendously expensive for what you get - and, annoyingly, EVERYTHING is an extra. Granted, service is very good and they do have linen tableclothes and decent silverware, but really not enough to justify $100 per person by the time all is said and done. My wife and I also found it terribly noisy. Bottom line, Flemings is a steakhouse wanna-be -- closer to a Lone Star in food quality but with tableclothes and decent service. We will spend our $$$ for special occasions elseware in the future."

  • "Love the happy hour menu! Try the bacon & cheese burger with 2 beers for $6 (their choice). Also choose from pork belly, shrimp and carpacchio apps. These are the same apps on the regular dinner menu for a steep discount. One complaint- it's too dark in here!"

  • "This was a disappointing visit to Flemings. My ribeye was first raw, then reheated and tough. They brought me a new one that was better, but I've definitely had better elsewhere and here before. For a "prime ribeye" at $48 for a piece of meat, I would've been better off at Outback or buying half a cow at Costco."

  • "We live right around the corner from the restaurant and are so blessed! As Vegas has grown in population, so goes the traffic. It is a monthly night out for us... and we have never been disappointed in the food and the service. I especially enjoy the Wedge salad, but wish the bread was a bit more interesting by adding different choices. All in all, Fleming's does it right!"

  • "Can't imagine better steaks or better service (thanks, Cristin!). Side dishes are generous...can easily be shared by two or three. Lava cake, too, can be shared and is worth the calories."

  • "Fleming's is my favorite steak place in Las Vegas. However, this particular evening, our bone-in prime ribeye was really gristly and chewy. The hostess took them back and had two new ones cooked -- I think they were from the same cow. I cannot fault the restaurant for the cut and they comped the two steaks (we were a party of four). I was very pleased with their concerns and it will not deter me from eating here again. This is the first time (in over 25 visits) that I have had substandard steak. Other than that, the evening was very enjoyable with exceptional service."

  • "Predictable and fairly priced. That is how I like it."

  • "Flemings in Summerlin has great ambiance. The I-pads on each table with 100+ wine lists looked marvelous and were quite impressive. All of the staff was very polite and friendly. There was some discomfort as all tables around us were given bread before ordering and we had to ask for ours. The salads were delicious, but both our steaks were prepared to the incorrect temperature. To be fair, they did ask how they were, but it wasn't as evident until we cut towards the center of the steaks. Two entrées, a side, dinner salads and a cocktail each ran us about 160 bucks with tip. Although a nice evening was had, we left slightly disappointed and we felt that this restaurant underperformed given the price point."

  • "As usual, the food, service and ambience was first rate. This restaurant should be a first choice for entertaining your guests, special occasions and the place to eat if you enjoy excellent food."

  • "Went for Valentines day with reservation. No wait taken right away and seated. Service and food were good, recommend the modern Caesar and Flemings potatoes are great! Extensive wine list. Negatives were prices a little high for what you get and the noise level is do high that you cannot have a conversation sitting across the table- had to move right next to my husband in order to hear what he was saying.."

  • "The restaurant decor, staff and food at Flemings are all excellent. The prime rib and pork belly were very tender. The wedge salad and cheesecake dessert were much smaller than last time for the prime rib special but it is still a great deal. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. This restaurant is highly recommended for a special occasion or just a great meal."

  • "We celebrated wife's birthday here. We were greeted enthusiastically, seated promptly, cheerfully attended to by our waitress, basket of bread was hot, wonderfully fresh, tasty. The salad was real good, with dressing that was tasty and refreshing, our steaks (he the Bone- in Rib, she Petite Filet) were so delicious, cooked to perfection (we prefer medium-rare), Flemings potatoes are favorites of ours. We were kept with full water glasses, Chardonnay was very good. Restaurant was full, people really enjoying themselves, vibrant energy. We had a great meal."

  • "The restaurant was extremely loud - Too Much Noise! To be fair it was very busy and there were a lot of young kids. One kid screamed such a loud piercing screech that it actually physically hurt my ear! One of the managers came by a few times and was extremely nice. We felt very welcome and appreciated."

  • "The ambience is energetic and yet intimate. This is a great place for an evening out with good friends, great conversation and food and wine to match up. The service is excellent yet not intrusive. I love that I am greeted by name. All in all, Flemings is a perfect place for an evening of dining."

  • "If you like pepper, the Peppercorn NY Strip steak is really good. The crunch from the peppercorn added a nice texture change to the steak. The steak itself was very tender, very little fat (which I ate most of). They paired it with a Steak Sauce that was very sweet, so really the balance was good. The sauce would ruin the steak if you poured it on, but light dipping every 2-3 bites breaks up the pepper spice. I ordered the trio of sauces. My wife and I preferred the Cabernet-Butter sauce, she actually liked it on her Salmon. There is a large enough vegetable portion with the steak where you really don't need an extra side, so you can save a few bucks there and put it toward dessert. The Caesar Salad and Lava cake were very good too!"

  • "I was very disappointed in the flavored iced tea. I like my iced tea without other flavors such as mango, which is all they had. Food was delicious. My port chop came rather rare but after sending it back it was perfect."

  • "I've eaten at the one in Palm Desert/Rancho Mirage, Ca. This one is just as good, wonderful steaks and potatoes with cheese out of this world, plus the spreads for the bread they give at your table re wonderful"

  • "Their $13 glass of wine was the smallest "glass of wine" serving I have ever seen.... and yes, I have seen a lot of glasses of wine. The waitress tried to justify the small serving by saying the glasses were extra large. This glass wasn't half full or half empty. The bottom of the glass was just covered. I suggest they use smaller glasses or serve a decent amount of wine for $13 a "glass""

  • "My husband and I both went for my Birthday. We each ordered the Ribeye. He got a bone on ribeye, and I had the new dry age ribeye. Both were served a perfect medium plus as requested. The service was spot on. The sides were not a after thought either. Piping hot and well seasoned. We will be going back."

  • "Went on Birthday hopping for a great meal, Menu made all look and sound great, but as food came out we were very disappointed. Started with the bread they called fresh. Cold and hard with 2 very unusual spreads to put on it, and no butter. When I asked for butter you would think I insulted them. The Filet was one of the most tasteless steaks I have ever received at a high end restaurant. Kind of ruined the night out for birthday as I paid the bill."

  • "I LOVE this restaurant. Sadly, can't go much because it is soooo expensive. Service was fabulous, our waiter's name was Carlos Camacho so ask for him. Food fabulous. $250 for 3 people though. Very pricey."

  • "We enjoyed our dinner at Fleming's. My husband had the prix fixe dinner and it was excellent. I had the French Onion soup and the Lobster Tempura which was delicious. Now that the new Fleming is due to open here in Las Vegas we will be going back to try that one which is a lot closer to where we live."

  • "This ain't Applebee's! So opt for a dress and a those classy high-heels.Not vegetarian friendly, but hey, it's a steakhouse and I was impressed to see NW wines on the list, though they weren't our best. Make reservations on busy nights and if it's a holiday it will help you if you get there early. There were a few tables doing their own little NYE countdowns but no big deal was made of the New Year otherwise. It was a welcome break from the drunken debauchery that was plaguing every other corner of Las Vegas AND I can say that the salads, appetizers and steaks were fantastic. These people know what they are doing so if you order an aged, dry steak that is exactly what you get...no guessing games required. Beware patrons can be snobs."
