  • "HIGH PRICED WINE LIST INSULTING BUT OFSET BY ATTENTIVE SEVICE NICE AMBIANCE AND PREDICTABLY GOOD FOOD"

  • "We've lived down the road from Flemings for years, but just finally went for the first time last week to celebrate my husband's birthday. Everyone at the restaurant went out of their way to create a special occasion, even giving us a little gift at the end of the meal. The food was wonderful. My husband said that his steak was the best he's ever had. Our server, Marco, was attentive and professional, the service was top notch. I don't know why we waited all these years, but we'll certainly go back."

  • "Handed 4 gift cards to pay the bill and one was dropped or lost or misplaced somehow by waitstaff or whoever handled them once left our hands created confusion after a special occasion dinner.had to return the next day with receipt for the meal and receipt for the gift cards I fortunately had bought myself and saved the receipt from. Took a very long time to remedy , was missing $100 gift card.eventually was remedied but not without reluctance by manager. I dine there about 4 or 5 times. Year Nd held a expensive graduation dinner there for 12 all out feast. Had hoped for a friendlier exchange, but the outcome was ok. Wonder what happened to that gift card???? Hmmm."

  • "For my money Flemings never fails to deliver. First time trying the bone in NY Strip. Have to say..might be a notch better than the standard NY Strip. Nice wine, attentive service. Overall one of the best steakhouses in my opinion."

  • "Was prompted to visit by a $40 AMEX gift card that arrived in the mail--had been there once before. I still can't comprehend how a slab of meat w/ no sides or garnish is worth $45. Almost $11 for a side of mushrooms? $22 for 3 quarter-sized scallops ? Considering that this is the higher end part of the restaurant group that owns Outback, Bonefish, and Carraba's where is the value ?I've noticed in the last 6-12 mos. that a # of places have bought into "charge more and give less" concept. The gift card helps but not enough for this to be a feel-good experience. My wife didn't love the absence of windows in the restaurant but I guess that's typical of "old school" steakhouses to try to create a dinner/club feeling--won't be rushing back."

  • "Great Happy Hour. Bartenders were on their game. Ralph was the best. Dinner, filet i the bone was done to perfection. Great place for a martini and steak."

  • "We felt very welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. We were greeted by not only the hostesses but by the 2 managers we saw walking through the front desk."

  • "First time at Flemings. Overall enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. Service was attentive. Food was great. However some reservations about our experience: 1) I knew coming here that the prices are high, but the side portions are smaller compared to what is offered at other similiar restaurants, 2) our server was personable and did a good job but when our meal was served they forgot some side dishes and had to be reminded, 3) background music suited for bar crowd and not for fine dining, 4) we had an issue with one of the appetizers that was handled promptly and professionaly. Items 2 to 4 should not happen at this level of restaurant. However we will give it another try since this may have been one of those nights."

  • "Flemings has elevated great steakhouses to a new level on the Main Line. Everything was great. From the Appetizers to the Salads and then the delicious and tender, filet mignon and NY strip. Mike, our waiter made the evening more enjoyable. If there was one negative it was the price of their wine. Flemings must be very proud of their wine list because their pricing is ridiculous. $ 22.00 for a glass of Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay? You gotta be kidding me."

  • "Food is not good enough to justify these high prices. My wife had the surf and turf and while lobster was tasty filet was just ok. It came as a special with appetizer and salad. Appetizer was ONE SMALL SCALLOP. And not even a tasty one. Salad was a wedge with a mountain of blue cheese dressing. Our son had the peppercorn filet. Marginal at best. His calimari appetizer was inedible. I fared the best. My mushroom ravioli appetizer was tasty, though not hot. My double pork chop was excellent but since it comes with no sides I ordered fries and they were just not that good, especially for $10.50! Desert was good. Bill for three, including the surf turf special was close to $200 with no drinks."

  • "The service and food were both better than average. We had to send our steak back for more cooking but it was perfectly done when it arrived the second time. We had eaten our vegetable during the wait but another was brought to us with our order."

  • "Fabulous food and service; consistently delicious! Truly our favorite steak house! First choice for birthdays and special family celebrations!!! Filet, halibut, bbq shrimp was outstanding. Our server could not have been better! Bravo Flemings for "bringing it" EVERY TIME!!! Can't forget the fabulous desserts that were enjoyed by all. One of our faves!"

  • "Flemming's always delivers, but the prices are totally absurd."

  • "Starting with the warm welcome from the valet and continuing with the excellent service from the wait staff, our evening at Fleming's was first class. A question about our wine selection brought a manager to our table. He talked to us about the wine, the winery and his reason for having this local (Karamoor) wine in his cellar. We appreciated his comments and enjoyed the wine. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive. He was able to make suggestions that helped to make our meal more enjoyable. The food quality was excellent and the presestation delightful. It was a five star evening at Fleming's."

  • "Ordered the Dry aged NY Strip cooked medium rare. It was an extremely good cut. Of course it doesn't hurt that they put butter on the plate. The bread is also a treat paired with their 2 spreads: Blue cheese, red pepper. We also got the creamed spinach and Heirloom tomato salad. All were excellent. Very good ambiance and service as well."

  • "We had an overall bad experience@Flemings. First the parking ditustion was atrocious. Second it was uncomfortably noisy in the restaurant. Third, it was ridiculously overpriced. $11 for a baked potato. Really? The steaks were tasty but small. The Ceasar salad was brown and wilty. Fourth, althought the wine list was fairly well populated, the choices were straight from the State store and the pourswer skimpy at best especially considering the obscene markup. Fifth, our waiter was saccharine and ill informed about everything. Sixth, what kind of bar doesn't stock Tia Maria, Galliano, etc. It took four trips before he could find something in stock that we wanted. Flemings is an expense account restaurant only. Go anywhere else."

  • "If you are in the mood for a good steak house, this is an excellent choice, in our opinion. We have been to many steak houses and prefer Sullivan's to Ruth's, for example. We appreciated the range on steak sizes and methods of cooking. The choice of side dishes was appropriate and well prepared. Our server was excellent! The noise level was reasonable. We'll go back when we want a really good steak."

  • "I don't generally go to steakhouses but I had a $40 coupon. I was surprised at how good it was. First we had salads which were just OK. I didn't expect much because I know that steakhouses aren't known for their sides. So we didn't order any. I had sliced filet served over mushroom risotto. It was luscious. Nice and juicy and cooked to perfection. The risotto was spicy and delicious. My partner had a petite filet that he said was perfect. The service was exceptional. It was a little too loud for my liking. Bottom line, just order steak. Not sides or salads"

  • "Jennifer was our server. She was outstanding. She and her runners made for a most enjoyable evening of dining. The food was delicious and the service was supreme. We will not hesitate to celebrate another birthday event at your establishment."

  • "My boyfriend and I went to Flemming's for steak, and it was a great choice. My filet and his NY strip were both excellent cuts and cooked precisely as we requested. Definitely enjoyed it. The only drawback I would note is that we were seated in a large, U-shaped booth in the back of the restaurant. It was an awkward space for two people, as we ended up looking out on the restaurant (and all of the other guests eating!) instead of at one another. Also, the lights above us kept dimming and brightening - we told our server and she might have looked into it, but no change. Kind of odd ambience for such a pricey and otherwise good dining experience."

  • "Everything we had there was excellent, but if you are craving a fabulous steak, this is definitely your best bet."

  • "Strange experience. Ordered Brie app and it was not cooked well. When waiter later asked we told him and he chided us for not telling him sooner. Burrata salad was more like plain ricotta than what it should be. Food was fine not great but for these prices service should be more cordial."

  • "All the food and service was wonderful. Staff was very attentive. The dry aged steak may well have been the most tasty and best cooked steak that I have ever eaten. Everyone in our party of 5 remarked on the great service, great steaks, appetizers and sides. It was well worth the cost and the original noise level which lowered as the evening progressed. Great night ... Thank you all to the Staff!"

  • "Flemings never disappoints. The quality is very consistent - perfectly cooked steak, served by staff that treats you like they're happy to serve you. They also have a great wine list and the waiters are knowledgeable. Had a great meal to celebrate my son's birthday (our three boys ages 15,13, 12 love it!)."

  • "Wonderful dining experience. We were celebrating a special event for our family and chose Flemings for their great steaks! From the minute we walked in until we were getting our car brought around, the experience was outstanding. Food and wine were wonderful as was the service. Can't wait to return again."

  • "My husband was craving a good steak, and we hadn't been to Fleming's in a while. The special crab cocktail appetizer was touted as being incredibly sweet and tasty, and it was good. However my husband's strip steak didn't have a lot of flavor, and my short ribs had more fat than meat. The carrot cake was excellent but the coffee was cold. Our waiter was obsequious when he was around, and disappeared for long stretches. Given the price of a nice dinner at Fleming's, we expected better food and service. I'm not sure if this was an off night for them, but it seemed like a very different experience for us from past visits."

  • "Steak was not done to liking and was an overpriced meal in general."
    Dined on 2/21/2014
  • "I know steakhouses tend to be on the expensive side and I honestly only visit on special occasions. My wife and I enjoyed our Valentine's dinner at Fleming's but I think the prices for the sides and desserts were pricey. You can spice up green beans and flavor mashed potatoes but ultimately they are just green beans and mashed potatoes. No restaurant should charge around $10 for these items. Otherwise the steak was good and we had a good time. Not something I would do frequently."
    Dined on 2/16/2014
  • "Steaks are certainly the main draw here - but Fleming's does a great job pairing the steaks with both outstanding wines (which you can browse via an iPad at your table) and delicious sides."

  • "My husband and I went for dinner and sat at the bar to start our evening. The food was fabulous as always (you must try the creamed corn - trust me). The service was especially outstanding. The manager, Michelle, was very patient with our various requests and seemed very happy to accommodate us. Our server, Paul, delivered outstanding service, knew the menu and the wine very well and always met us with a great smile. The bartender (forgot his name) was wonderfully sociable but not over the top and made excellent drinks. Thanks!!!"
