  • "My title is a pun on words. Lol. Of course the steaks are high, it's Fleming's Steakhouse. This is my second visit to Flemings's Steakhouse. My first time here was at a different location in LA. It was superb. From the moment we pulled up to valet to the moment we walked out it was awesome. This location was about the same, give or take. For some reason the waiters thought we were regulars, and greeted us saying, "You've been here before, you look familiar. Butler is ringing a lot of bells for some reason." I was amazed to feel as though I was an honored patron, however another waiter came over and said the same thing. So it lead me to think this is a marketing tool Fleming's uses with it's guest to make them feel comfortable. But great!"

  • "Fleming's delivers a very high quality experience, especially for a steakhouse chain. We were celebrating our anniversary and they added a couple of nice touches to honor that occasion. The wines by the glass is always one of the strong points of their offerings. Fleming's corporate and local wine staff deserve high marks for the diversity, quality, and fair pricing on their wine offerings. As a trained wine educator it's nice to see the wine pad with the hyper links to detailed descriptions on the wines - an ideal use of technology. We enjoyed the Prime Rib special which is a fantastic value. My only complaint was that the salads were heavy on the dressings for our personal taste. Otherwise awesome!"

  • "I ordered the special the other night that came with the tuna sashimi appetizer and the steak and salmon entree. The tuna was extra salty, as it was so gross, I had to force feed myself into making my parents think they were getting their money's worth. The steak was good as Outback's at best; I'd just rather go to Morton's. In addition, the salmon was watered down from the attempted 'honey glaze.' All I'm saying is, I'll stick to Fleming's happy hour because it's dirt cheap, but I'll take my $250 on a regular night elsewhere in the city that has legit food. Train your chefs."

  • "It was a wonderful experience. My friend was given a birthday card at her place setting and we had a fabulous meal and the service was excellent. There was an issue that my friend had changed her mind on her entrée and they brought the wrong dish. They couldn't have been more apologetic. The manager immediately came to our table and apologized and went above and beyond by taking both entrees off of our check! I was shocked. They were awesome. And my friend was given a beautifully wrapped box of chocolates and $25 gift card to Flemings. I had been there for my birthday and received the same. It's a fabulous restaurant for food and good service. It's my special occasion place because you know you won't be disappointed."

  • "Or any busy occasion. We have been to Flemings many times but Father's Day was very busy (of course) and the experience was not great. The server stated his intent to not be intrusive during the meal and proceeded to be one of the most intrusive waiters I have encountered, interrupting us repeatedly to see if every was "ok". However, it took forever to get the check and pay and our car was not brought to the front in advance (servers job) for the the first time ever. Our famous Fleming potatoes never arrived. My swordfish entree was dropped on way to table (not servers job and it was ok, accidents happen) but re-fire came back raw and second fire was like leather. Comped my entree and gave us a $25 coupon, but we won't be back."

  • "We both enjoyed our meals, although both the salmon and lamb chops were slightly over cooked from what was ordered. Creamed spinach started off perfect, but you as reached the center of the dish the melted cheese topping made it too salty. Calamari was lightly seasoned, tender, and delicious! Recommend getting the accompanying sweet based sauce on the side, as a little goes along way. I would have preferred a marinara. Nice ambiance and bit pricey, still would return for a 3rd try."

  • "When my wife and I decided to split a shrimp cocktail, it was a nice touch to deliver it split into 2 portions so we each had out own small serving plate w/ lemon and cocktail sauce. Steak for both was the bone-in ribeye which with the bone adds fabulous flavor. We order it close to what is called "Pittsburgh Rare" where the outer surface is crusty and the inside is med/rare. Not exactly Pittsburgh rare, but close to it. Steak was perfectly cooked but was not quite as juicy as usual. I think I missed the fact that there were no streaks of fat running through it which will adds tons of flavor to a piece of meat. It was just slightly lacking of that which held it back from outstanding. Early dining except for large group in private room Quiet"

  • "Flemings is good, but not great. Sure, it probably is better than most steakhouses on the Mainline but when comparing it to Baclay Prime or Butcher and Singer in the city it falls short. When trying to understand why that is, I think it came down to a few reasons: ambiance and service. The ambiance is a personal preference, but I happen to prefer something a little lighter and more modern (again this is pretty minor). The more important part was the service which I think could use some refinement. This applies to refilling drinks (without me asking) and touching base with the table to name a few. Overall it was good and convenient. "

  • "Service really wasn't poor. We had a great waitress. But the system at Fleming's is that someone else brings you your meal. So there was a mix-up either in the kitchen or at the assembly line to the table. We recieved an incorrect order that looked like the correct order. But the incorrect order had ingredients that we puposely asked not to include. And as a result, the first bite exacerbated a medical problem. Management tried to be accommodating but the damage was done. ALl resolved in a few hours. Don't know if we will return but if we do, we will double check everything. And so should you if you have special needs."

  • "Hubby's birthday, Wed 8pm. The place was "all a buzz". reservations are a must. The staff is excellent. From the complimentary valet, to the hosts, to the excellent wait staff who seem trained on every bottle of wine and bottle beer they offer (no draft beer avail - this is "a wine bar restaurant" we were told). Our waiter, Damon, was friendly & engaging (but just the right amt). We felt like guests in his home. Bread and drinks came out quickly. We asked for butter yet tried the spreads (would've prefered a dipping oil). We split wedge salad (2 of us). I had the 8oz filet (excelent!), hubby had NYStrip (loved it) w/ crab legs. We augratin potatoes - YUM! & asparagus. Our meal was absolute perfection."

  • "Brunch w/ Fruit and French Toast for the wife and Lobster Bisque and Prime Rib for me. Bisque smooth and creamy. Very tasty. Only disappointment was no pieces of Lobster. Fruit was delicious according to my wife. Prime Rib came with 3 sauces and was a massive piece of beef perfectly done at med/rare. The mustard/horseradish sauce was to die for. So good, I asked for more then wished I had more beef for it. Wife's French Toast was excellent however there was a piece of aluminum foil in it. Pointed out to waiter and manager who profusely apologized and then took her meal off the final bill. Extremely generous of them and really not necessary but gives me one more reason to adore food and service here. Anniversary meal here next!"
