Fleming's Steakhouse - Peoriafantastic!Went to Flemings to celebrate Mothers Day a little early. Seated promptly, waitress greeted us by name. Service was awesome & the food was fantastic. We ordered the seafood tower, everything tasted fresh & so great. We ordered the porcini rubbed filet mignon with gorgonzola cream sauce, (amazing), & the new york steak. My husband had the sword fish and it was terrible. He should have sent it back. I tasted it and was not good. We sat in the back of the restaurant toward the "prepping area". I don't mind seeing or looking into the "prep area" , but wish there were some glasslike windows or half walls separating the dining area from the that area. Other than that, it was very nice. The wine list was incredible and the choice of meats were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I didn't feel rushed at all. They were also very generous to us. My husband and I were there celebrating our anniversary and we received a nice little gift box of truffles (that were amazing)!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWONDERFUL BIRTHDAY SURPRISE!We have enjoyed eating at Flemings in Wisconsin so looked forward to visiting the Peoria restaurant. We were not disappointed. Excellend selections, great service, very fair prices and were impressed with the attention-to-detail by the staff. Asked if we were celebrating anything, I mentioned that it was my birthday. What a nice surprise to receive a personally signed card and a box of truffles as well as a gift card for a future visit.

From the mouth watering salads, to the tender steak entree, through the scrumptious molten lava cake dessert, our experience could not have been more wonderful. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, the manager stopped by our table to wish us a happy anniversary and ask how everything was. It was truly a delightfully, delicious, excellent experience all the way around. Having been there one other time, we decided to go back since it had been a year or so. We live quite a ways from Flemings or would frequent it more often. From the time we walked in the door we were greeted with "Happy Anniversary" and escorted back to our table with another Happy Anniversary from the young lady seating us. The Manager came over and answered questions about the wines we were contemplating.....he was so gracious to us and gave us some samples. Our waitress was Charity and she went beyond her call of duty being so informed and kind to us throughout our evening. The kitchen was "on" tonight as this was some of the best food we have enjoyed at this location. Service was a bit slow at times but overall good.
