I liked that I could choose a small plate which was the perfect size. My husband enjoyed the special of the evening. The atmosphere was relaxing as well as noise level was not too loud. Mother's Day was crowded, but we were seated without a wait. While the food delivery was slower than usual, the food is always worth the wait. Unfortunately, we all left with headaches due to a VERY loud large group seated next to us who lingered long after finishing their meal. It was obvious they were disturbing everyone around, and it was also obvious that the management and staff were attempting to politely and tactfully get the group to vacate. The food is really good, but this time it just seemed that a little something was missing. Our waiter was new and although he was very nice, it showed. They may need to bump up their training a little before they let people wait tables alone. I was disappointed in the French fries. They were hand cut, but not crispy at all. I think I was remembering the very thin, very crispy fries at Ruth's Chris which I love and that's what I was expecting. The bar was packed with happy young folks. The dining area is very tasteful with a metropolitan feel to it. One of the reasons we went was that we had received a $50 gift certificate in the mail as a promotion. While we enjoyed it a lot, we could have spent the same amount and gone to Erling Jensons. It was a very good dinner, but not extraordinary.
