As always the service was very good, the wine list was great and the steaks, well that is why you go there. For a special cut this evening they had a bone in filet mignon. It was prepared well and my wife and I split it. The chef let us order our appetizer, that wasn't on the menu. She was overwhelmed and excited. Shrimp cocktail for an app, sauce was spicy yet smooth. She had the filet small plate with mushroom risotto, it was made perfectly and the flavors went well together. I had the off menu special of bone in filet. I thought it only slightly over done, but was still amazing. Price point is why I gave overall 4, i feel is can get the same food and experience else where at about 50 bucks cheaper. Wine menu is great and they have 100 wines by the glass, and the menu is on a ipad, which is fun.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMI have a high opinion of allI have a high opinion of all the Flemings locations I've been to around the country, and the Lincolnshire location is also great. The food was excellent - we ordered 2 prime rib specials, 1 tilapia special and 1 salmon. Everything was served hot and perfectly prepared. The restaurant is a little pricey, but for a special occasion it was great. However when we dined there recently the NY strip steak that I had and the filet mignon that my wife ordered were tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The side dishes were also generously portioned as were the salads that we had a starters. The wines (by the glass) that we chose came from a abundant and interesting wine list. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the main dinning room is beautifully done.
