A bit pricey but great for a special night out. We have been here a few times before and enjoyed each time. This time was no different. The service and food were great. The only complaint we would have is that we ordered a chilled lemoncello dirink after dinner and it was quite watered down - no bite. We truly enjoy the restaurant and it's just a flat out great experience across the board. The waiter spoke directly to our kids, so they could do their own ordering. They split a filet and baked potato for them on two plates and split a ceasar salad in the back for them too. Food all around was good. As always the service was very good, the wine list was great and the steaks, well that is why you go there. For a special cut this evening they had a bone in filet mignon. It was prepared well and my wife and I split it. The chef let us order our appetizer, that wasn't on the menu. She was overwhelmed and excited. Shrimp cocktail for an app, sauce was spicy yet smooth. She had the filet small plate with mushroom risotto, it was made perfectly and the flavors went well together. I had the off menu special of bone in filet. I thought it only slightly over done, but was still amazing. Price point is why I gave overall 4, i feel is can get the same food and experience else where at about 50 bucks cheaper. The restaurant is a little pricey, but for a special occasion it was great. However when we dined there recently the NY strip steak that I had and the filet mignon that my wife ordered were tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The side dishes were also generously portioned as were the salads that we had a starters. The wines (by the glass) that we chose came from a abundant and interesting wine list. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the main dinning room is beautifully done.
