We had dinner at Fleming's for our anniversary in January and since we raved about it to our friends, we decided to come back for Valentine's Day. Our server was awesome. He had great knowledge of the menu, even suggesting a certain steak for me to try. It was a delicious choice and I enjoyed every morsel. By far, my favorite side item is the sauteed spinach. I will order it every time I go from now on.

I frequent many steak houses. While the service and ambiance were very good, the food was just mediocre. Bread was rather ordinary, Caesar salad lacked any punch, steaks was cooked in butter (not my thing), sides weren't memorable. My friend picked up the bill so I don't know how the prices compare to other places. My preferences downtown for steaks are Nick & Stefs, then The Palm, then Arnie Mortons, Pacific Dining Car. Flemings would be last on the list. My guess is that all of these other places are more expensive however.

I ordered the New York Strip and it was disappointing. My friend's filet mignon burger was way better looking. The meat looked more appetizing than my steak. The lunch deals are reasonable, and the Costco giftcards make it a better deal. But, the beef was not impressive. I think I will take clients, special guests and friends to The Palm to impress, but go to Flemings for lunch. Actually, I give it another try I hope you don't disappoint.

The service was outstanding. From the hostess to the server. Always referred to you by name and extremely attentive to details. First time at Flemings and was looking forward to a great steak dinner. The steaks not so great for the price. Have had much better at Morton's and Ruth Chris. Got the prime rib eye so was expecting lots of marbeling but was kinda of tough. Also ordered the filet mignon and it was not "melt in your mouth". The sides were just okay ... not horrible but nothing to rave about. Sad because the dinner was expensive. It was a splurge for us. Definitely disappointed.

We went there for the $29 3-course Prime Rib Sunday special and it was amazing! Plenty of food and no limits on your side dish or dessert choices. As if this weren't enough, we were tempted to share a side of the special Lobster Mashed Potatoes. $25 may seem a bit pricey, but it was so worth it. We shared it, but you could easily make this an entreé. O-M-G! This is the best thing I've ever eaten!

Food was fine but for the price I was expecting a higher end experience. The seasoning was quite salty on the steak and the baked potato. The filet was served with a blue cheese sauce, placed over part of the steak. When I tasted a piece of the steak without the sauce I was surprised at how salty the seasoning was. It was an OK experience, however I can get a much better meal and better atmosphere at other steak houses in town.

I love Fleming's Prime Steakhouse! It is one of my favorite restaurants. I am accustomed to going to the one in El Segundo, which in my opinion is a little more upscale. I really liked the laid back vibe of the downtown location but I truly missed the service that the El Segundo location provides. With that said, they didn't miss the mark where the food or drinks are concerned. Everything was absolutely DIVINE! I especially loved the Lobster Tempura appetizer. YUMMY!

We had a glitch at the beginning of the night with a hostess that had some attitude, but when others on the staff found out, they were amazingly helpful and the rest of the night was great. Everyone with that 1 exception was very friendly, and helpful about the timing (we had a show to get to). I was a little wary of a chain steakhouse, but I thought the food here was great and would love to come back again as soon as possible! THE unfortunate aspect to eating anyplace at LA Live is that you are not allowed to bring leftovers into the venues. Club Nokia forced me to throw out my leftovers ($50 in the trash) and I can't tell you how upset I still am! LA Live needs to figure this out, a run to the car isn't the easiest to do here. Beware...

Flemings Nokia Center never fails. The alpha male of the group always requires that his filet be served "bleu" and it ALWAYS arrives that way ... according to him, the only place on the planet that knows how to cook a steak correctly. Mac and cheese to die for, the shoe string fries, incredible, any of the salads so fresh and beautifully presented, one bite in and you're gone ... I could live on "the wedge". Love the flights of wine and the great selection.

So we rolled in here on a Friday night. I wasn't aware of the $25 coupon if I make reservations directly from Flemings but it was okay since I had $150 bucks of GC's knowing the meal would be over $200 for 5 adults. It was raining cats and dogs but we made the trek. Upon arriving we still had to wait 3-5 minutes for them to set us up .I was disappointed that they sat us in a booth and we were all so close to each other. When I eat steak I want room to stretch out and feel comfortable and I thought to myself I don't like this arrangement so I voiced it to our waitress Brianne and she put us at a table and made us feel comfortable. The complimentary bread came out first and that initial roll was hard as a rock so we asked for another

The food and service was outstanding! The food (my steak and lobster combo) was one of the best steakhouse meals I can recall. (and a good value I might add with a seasonal special I ordered). Serious (and dangerous) wine list - about 100 by the glass. A little more attempting at "trendy" than many typical steakhouses (i.e. more of a LA vibe than Ruth's or Morton's). Certainly lively (not quiet). They have tables, standard booths and round booths (we had to wait a few minutes for a round booth... well worthwhile for the romantic nature of the evening). Overall = Fantastic!
