Wasn't impressed with the wedge salad, why put a strip of cold bacon on top? Better to crumble it up and spread
the goodness. The server kept the drinks coming, though the Bar was our of our preferred bourbon.

There happened to be a Kings game at Staples Center on the day of my visit so traffic around the area was VERY heavy. For a high end steakhouse, the ambiance of the restaurant is quite noisy, perhaps because of the bar area located adjacent to the main dining area. I was expecting something a little quieter like Morton's. It was a little difficult to hold a conversation with my fiance without having to raise my voice, something I'm not used to when paying this much for a meal. The food was excellent. Filet's were cooked to perfection. All steaks were cooked exactly to correct temperature and sides were good and not too huge. Four of us were going to share two salads to start and the kitchen, without being asked, split them which I thought was a nice touch. Second course came out a little quickly but that was ok. Service was personable and attentive but I wish they would train the bus staff not to try to constantly take our plates away. That was annoying! The flavour was delicate with the porcini sauce, but the real treat was the meat itself - the texture was tender and light.
Service was very good, our waiter had perfect timing and just the right level of enthusiasm for the menu without being pushy.
