  • "Our dinner at Flemmings was very nice. The food was very good, not amazing. Our waiter was very good. We had a dirty fork and glass that we had to have replaced. Dinner was fine, but generally quite expensive for the experience. For what we paid, I would expect to walk out saying "wow-that was great" as opposed to "that was nice"."

  • "Ordered small plates (filet and ahi tuna); filet was excellent, tuna had good flavor but was too tough to chew. When I mentioned it to our server, Curtis, he insisted I order something else so I chose the shrimp skewers which were quite oily and even with the pesto-based sauce, pretty bland. We'll definitely return because the atmosphere was so nice and our service was great, but next time we'll ask for recommendations."

  • "We had received an email regarding special options in the bar and decided to take advatage of the offer. I made an Open Table reservation and requested seating in the bar. When we arrived we were seated in the restaurant and informed that bar reservations were not accepted and that the special options were not available in the dining room. She said bar tables were available on a first come/first served basis and that we could take any open table in the bar. A bar table was being vacated and so we sat there. A bar waiter then told us to move, that he had people waiting for tables in the bar. He said he keeps a reservation list for the bar tables and there were multiple people ahead of us. Embarrassing."

  • "Th atmosphere was nice however seated by the open kitchen. Very dark. Food was good, the steak, filet mignon, was of great quality but not much flavor. I had to salt and pepper. The potatoes were ok. The creme Brule however was absolutely amazing. Our server was very good and appropriately responsive."

  • "My wife and I have eaten at Fleming's a number of times, and it quickly became our favorite eatery in the area! Our latest meal there was no exception, when we took advantage of their filet and lobster tail promotion. The entree was delicious, and the courses leading to the entree were all top-notch. The wine selection is excellent as well, and we were able to taste-test our wine selection before committing to a bottle. Service is always friendly, informed and responsive without hovering - a great balance. I love this restaurant!"

  • "This is my favorite of the "chain" steakhouses in Indy. Usually the steaks are prepared absolutely perfectly. On this evening, however, my filet was overcooked (medium well instead if medium). Still not bad, but as anyone who orders filet knows it should never be cooked more than medium. Service and everything else was excellent as usual."

  • "My primary criticism is regarding the main filet mignon steak I ordered. For the price, I expected the steak that I ordered to be exceptional. In my honest opinion, it was only average. It was a nice size (11 oz) and was tender and juicy, but it struck me as bland - I wanted to season it more or use steak sauce to give it more flavor. It also had more gristle than I expected for the price. The rest of the meal was acceptable, but nothing out of the ordinary, and certainly not so much to warrant the very high cost. It seems to me that patrons are paying more for the ambience and less for the food. I wouldn't recommend Fleming's for their steak, but I might for the ambience. It all just seemed quite a bit overpriced."

  • "Offered a great special of lobster and steak food was great bu t in the beginning felt rushed had to tell wait staff to slow down . They did and the rest of the meal was wonderful. Would definitely dine here again"

  • "The meal was great, I had a filet, medium rare, which was excellent. The seasonings were just right and not overdone and the filet was cooked to perfection. For my sides I got both the macaroni and cheese and the mushrooms. The macaroni and cheese was excellent and the mushrooms were great tasting as well.I had the french onion soup which was great tasting but almost completely broth with very little onions or croutons. For service I gave 4 stars for a few reasons. First the servers don't quite have the expertise of a St. Elmo's server, but at the same time they did ok. But also I had leftover food and my server just took it off of the table and threw it out without offering to package it up for me."

Our steaks were delicious and we were impressed by very good value and wide selection of wines. We were seated promptly for our reservations. All in all a really nice evening.   • "This was a good choice for a family birthday celebration. We shared a lobster tempura small plate - 4 good sized pieces of delicious lobster. All of the main dishes were enjoyed - swordfish, salmon, & filet - although 1 of the filets had a small piece of gristle. Our waitstaff was the right degree of attentive. The birthday treat wasa surprise and much appreciated."

  • "We were there on a Sunday night so it wasn't very busy. The service was attentive without being annoying. Our steaks and sides were delicious. The wine list is extensive and available on an iPad so that you can search using specific categories. It is also very expensive. For two of their smallest steaks, two sides and two 6oz glasses of wine the bill was $130."

  • "First of all, if you enjoy wine, take a moment to look over the extended wine list on the I-Pad. These bottles aren't necessarily more expensive than the ones on their main list, just special opportunities their wine steward can take advantage of throughout the year. We were very impressed with the selection. We found a great bottle at a reasonable price. Our server was attentive and not intrusive. Our steaks (wonderful seared to order petite filets) were well paced after our salads. No rushing of dining. Our dessert, cheesecake with blueberry sauce-perfect! We also recommend their small menu specials in the bar before 7, it is a great way to end a day of shopping or movie at Keystone Arts across the street."

  • "We went to Flemings during their North Side Nights promotion. I'd heard good reviews and was excited to try them out. We went on a Thursday evening so they weren't that busy, yet we had to wait at least 15 minutes till our server actually came with a menu. We then had to ask for the promotional menu as they didn't even offer that. The salad was just ok, but the main meal (which we waited 30 minutes for after our salads were done) was absolutely aweful! We had ordered fillet done medium yet they were both charred and dry as can be. At that point we'd had enough of the poor service and just requested the dessert and a check. Would NEVER recommend this restaurant."

  • "Northside Nights brought a small group of us together on a warm Friday evening in March. The host staff and the wait staff were all very nice and professional. The wine, bread, and salads were all delightful, but I was a little disappointed in my steak and lobster. The filet was a little fatty throughout the cut, and while I love filet, I barely ate half. The lobster was good but even that may have been a bit overlooked. Dessert was good. Service was slow at the table - especially when waiting on desserts."

  • "My wife and I went to Flemings for their NorthSide Nights dinner. We hadn't been there before so we thought we'd try it. Sadly, the food was not top quality. The Flemings salad was the best part of the meal. The filet and shrimp meal was a sad excuse for an entrée. The steak was cook properly - medium - but it was dry...not sure if it was sitting out for a long time before cooking or what? The shrimp had 0 seasoning! Bland is an understatement and the ber blanc sauce didn't help. Thanks to the arugula to give it some flavor. The steak needed a sauce badly...and that should never be. The turtle pie was cold and tasted of card board...must have come from a box. Heat it up at least. The crust was so tough my fork couldn't get through the end."

They would swoop by and say "everything delicious" without waiting for a response and one time came up and barged in a conversation. As to food, for two of us, the fish was overcooked."

  • "We never once had an empty glass of water or wine. Wine and food recommendations were spot on. The chef and the kitchen team did an excellent job with cooking to order and a great presentation. We were checked on appropriately but not overwhelmingly. They knew it was my wife's birthday from OpenTable and gave her a nice chocolate without embarrassment of putting on silly hats and singing. We had a great evening and will be back."

  • "Went to check this place out during northside nights. Calamari was outstanding but the steak was disappointing. Both my fiancé and I got the filet and mine was cooked medium but very dry. My fiancés was also dry and a little well done when she asked for medium. Luckily I got the 8oz lobster tail which was great but if I had paid $45 for that filet I would've sent it back. Overall decent experience but there are just too many great restaurants in northern indy to be subpar and expensive. It will be easy to just say on to the next one for future nights out."

  • "We had dinner there for valentines day and overall enjoyed it very much. Bone in ribeye was very good, maybe a tad small for $50! The guy bringing it didn't stick around to check on the meat temp as normal at other places. Luckily it was ok, Had turtle pie for dessert. It was great, but needs to be served warm! I sent it back to be warmed."
