Noise level was a little loud as I had a hard time hearing my other party across the round table. We had the special which was a 6 oz filet, crab cake and shrimp. It was very good but maybe a little pricey at $50. I would go back"

  • "New York Strip had to be sent back as cold in the middle but when it came back was excellent. Fillet cooked perfectly. Place was very busy considering it was a Tuesday night. There were a lot of large groups. Found it difficult to understand our waiter due to noise level but apart from that it was a good evening."

  • "We were amazed on how great they treated us, even if we were the last ones there. We didn't realize that we were the last ones because they did not make us feel rushed. The a Dry aged ribeye steak was the best steak I've ever had. If I have the option of choosing I'd choose the dry aged steak every time. The garlic mashed potatoes were ok. If the potatoes didn't taste like box mashed potatoes, I would've given this restaurant 5 stars in the food categoty."

  • "Way overpriced for quality received - $3.50 for ice tea and 9.00 for a small side of mashed potatoes and $10.00 for about 7 asparagus spears with nothing on them. Desserts $9.00 to $15.00 . Wine by glass very limited! My lamb chops were very mediocre. And they had nothing for ladies like a long stem rose. At those exorbitant prices they certainly could afford it."

  • "We visited Flemings on Saturday February 15. Food was amazing, our server Reva was amazing, and the ambiance was perfect. Considering how busy the location due to Valentine's weekend, we didnt expect for the service to be as superb as it was. We will definitely come back!"

  • "We went to Fleming's on Valentine's Day to use our Christmas gift of gift cards! The restaurant is beautiful and quite large! It was clean, the staff was very attentive, and the food was outstanding! I ordered from the special Valentine's Day menu, and enjoyed a scallop as an appetizer (it was quite large, and adorned with a sauce and garnished with grape tomatoes); a house salad of mixed greens, spiced walnuts and cranberries with feta cheese; and the filet mignon and lobster tail. All were prepared to perfection and in generous, but not excessive, portions. My husband ordered a salad of cheese and tomatoes, and a regular portion of filet mignon, with a side of green beans. His meal was superb, as well."

  • "The service was awful. I made reservations for a party of 2 at 8:30, when we arrive they take us to our table and there was only 1 chair. We waited for about 6-8 min for someone to finally bring another chair. Our waiter came introduced himself & recommended the 3 course menu, he left to gave us a few minutes to check out the menu, he then asked if we have any questions. I asked what was the difference from the Newport filet mignon & the main. He mentioned the difference then left agin not giving us time to order.. We literally waited about 15-20 for him to finally return so we could place our order. We were so tempted to just walk out and have dinner elsewhere. Once he returned I made a comment "I thought you'd never come back""

  • "I took my 2 friends out to dinner and it was a wonderful evening. The server, Dan, was as nice as can be and very attentive but didn't hover over our table. We never felt rushed, we were there for a few hours. When Dan overheard that I was soon getting married he had the chef prepare some homemade truffles for me and my friends and then another box that was wrapped up to take home to my fiance. The little details like this make restaurants and a server like Dan stand apart from the rest. Food was delicious, cooked to perfection and the after dinner martinis were amazing! I have had dinner at this location several times but this is the first one that the experience really stood out."

The appetizers, salads, and sides were very flavorful and well prepared with a nice presentation. The steaks were tender and juicy. The deserts were fresh and and nicely portioned (not too large). Everything considered, this was some of the best food I've ever eaten. The wait staff was outstanding. My only regret is the price, which is somewhat higher than peer restaurants."

  • "I like the Flemings near Kirby much better. This restaurant is extremely expensive for what you get and the service you receive. Should a waiter lower their eye to table level to make sure the wine they are pouring does not go above the measuring line on the glass ? For all four people? That just seems completely tasteless for a restaurant where the meal average's $100+ per person. Seriously I felt like I was being served by a 15 year old."

  • "Service excellent; however, food quality wasn't . The wedge salad was as usual superb and the pork belly with grits was wonderfully delicious. The blackened redfish was not blackened resulting in an over cooked, dried out piece of fish. The dry aged strip steak was delicious but undercooked. The crabmeat topping should've been included in the item's description as its flavor. The Blueberry cheesecake was topped with only a teaspoon of blueberries. Wine selection was first rate as expected for Fleming's extensive by the glass choices including Maeve's picks. Will hope the food quality improves. For $250 for two diners , it needs to improve given the amount of competition for fine steak meals in the Houston area."

Out of 6 people, 4 steaks were perfect and 2 a bit overdone but acceptable. Wine prices are a bit high but Sommelier was helpful."
