The place was full and a little noisy but that is to be expected on such an occasion. We did have a couple of issues with not gettings soups at the start of the meal for a long time and one dish that was brought to the table was completely incorrect, in fact it was a dish that wasn't ordered. Other than that, it was a good experience. The table was ready as reserved and our Sebastian was great. The appetizer calamari was prepared perfectly. We both ordered the filet and were very impressed and even more so with the cream of spinach and sauteed mushroom sides which only added to the meal! The restaurant was packed with a vibrant crowd of all ages making it for a fun night out. Sommelier had done the wine list and was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food was high quality for a chain steakhouse with good fish, excellent meats and quality and varied side dishes. BY FAR this was the best quality meal and wonderful service. it was an outstanding dining experrience.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMIn the past few years we haveIn the past few years we have always gone to "Ruth's" for my birthday dinner, but this year we thought we would try something different and chose Fleming's. We knew about the surf & turf special, my favorite, so we went. Our daughter joined us and selected a great Spanish Rioja wine for us. Our server was very busy and we sat for quite a while looking at our wine bottle of wine on a nearby ledge where she left it because she didn't have enough time to come and open and pour it for us. By the time she came we were all a little bugged. However, things went up from there on and she gave us good service throughout our meal.
