The menu offers everything from an expected multi course meal to smaller bites menu. We usually ask for the same server, Marshall P. who knows our desires and food choices. Management makes sure that each guest leaves satisfied. If's you are not satisfied with menu item let the house know immediately and it will be taken care of. No request is too small.
Have eaten with a party of 2 or up to 15. Especially enjoyed the private dining room for a special occassion. The wine list is awesome. One of our favorite places. We are repeat customers. The service was a little slow and not quite up to the standards we are typically used to. It may have been because it was the night before Mother's Day - not sure. Their molten chocolate cake which we shared for desert is also among the best of its kind in the city. Handling of the valet ticket with the check - brilliant! The ambient noise level in the room was quiet when we first arrived (very early dinner). However it did get louder as the room filled. We could still converse comfortably.
If you're looking for super quiet, this probably isn't the place. Unfortunately, the lobster tails for at least 3 diners were undercooked but no one took the trouble to send anything back to the kitchen. In celebrating a birthday and by letting the staff know at the time the reservation was made, the birthday girl was given the royal treatment from the time she walked in until the time we left. For me, need noise abatement as wouldn't qualify as "fine" dining to me although noisy restaurants are the "new normal". When I have to strain to listen and raise my voice to be heard, it definitely takes away from what I would call a fine dinng experience. I think acoustic solutions might be in order to bring the noise level down a tad. Just a personal comment...others might not mind at all. Great evening! I love it that the manager stops by, and the host team seems to remember you and give you the same server (Julianne is amazing!). The food is beyond great, the bone in ribeye makes a second meal at home - and is consistently the best steak I have ever eaten. The sides are just as good...creamed spinach!

However, my dinner companion and I were screaming at each other in order to hear. When you are paying that much money, you shouldn't have to work that hard to talk to one anthter.3/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
