This visit we decided to stay in the bar area so we could watch the Masters on TV. They only had one TV at the very end of the bar and two employees stood right in front of it, hanging out and watching the golf as well. This made it difficult for others to see everything. In fact, if we had known side dishes were so large, we would have ordered less. Entire party had the filet and lobster tail listed only on their website. This came with choice of French Onion soup (best I have ever had) or wedge salad -- both again very generous in size. Wine list was impressive and I enjoyed the interactive tablet for choosing and exploring. We all ordered differently and each of the plates was beautiful and delicious. Fun to have the entire wine list on the iPad. Nice touch. Our only issue was seating location. We were at a table directly behind the open kitchen -- fun to watch but extremely loud and made conversation difficult, particularly with senior adults in the mix. The only menu item not available was the Prime Rib special. Our server said they had served over 300 during people during the day so to be out of only one item is pretty remarkable. Worth every penny.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMbirthday dinnerdrove from cincy to the restaurant. flemings was in a vibrant part of town. love the complementary valet parking. i tried their own "f17" sauce with my filet mignon, tasted a bit bbq-ie for me. we had a booth, wine glasses already on the table. my kind of style. skipped salad to really enjoy cocktails, lol. LOVE that they have the wine ipad and serve desert wines, made sure my glass was empty. mignon was tender, still had leftovers for a petite size. of course my husband plate was clean he had the suicide mashed potatoes, filet with cream sauce & asparagus, loved it. a bit noisy but it was saturday night. all service was prompt, ended the night with coffee & tea. will go back for christmas dinner but not on a regular basis3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Fleming's staff were veryThe Fleming's staff were very accommodating and made our special occasion dinner extra special. It was out anniversary, and right from the get-go, they wished us a happy anniversary, making it feel extra special. Thy gave us complimentary truffles and a gift card to commemorate our visit. That was very nice, and this gesture left a lasting impression on us. This trip had one disappointment because I did not get a thick bone-in ribeye. 2 of 3 steaks were perfect. My ribeye was a thinner bigger cut which was not the best prepared medium well (my request). This steak was not there usual and the manager had a lame excuse as to how some were just like that and that I should be specific about ordering and getting a thick cut the next time.
Given that I had the same experience at two other high end steak places last month I will give them the benefit of a doubt.
