Fleming's Steakhouse - ChicagoA different Cinco de MayoWe weren't looking for a place for Cinco de Mayo, just a delicious steak & a nice glass of wine. Flemings was a perfect choice. The service was great and the food delicious. The only problem was that my very rare steak was really not rare enough when it was served. It was replaced promptly & perfect the second time but it is always a little irritating to have to wait for the replacement. The restaurant wasn't busy so I was quickly back in business. The server was not as enthusiastic about the place where he worked because i told the server Mathew that it was my first time at the place and had like to know something about the restaurant and he didn't even tell me anything about the restaurant! He didn't even tell me about their specialties or signature dishes until i asked for them! But over all i had a great time once the stake came to my table and it was juice and delicious!! That is Flemings. We have been there a few times and each visit was marked by friendly service from the moment we walked in. The IPAD wine menu was fun to scroll thru, quick descriptive listings of the specials, and most important delicious food.
We had a quick witted and fun waitress who knew just when to show up and stay away. Water was refilled often.
I have 390 characters to go but like the style of Flemings this review should be simple (except for the wine list! Remarkable!) and to the point.
