  • "I took my husband to the Father's Day 3-course brunch with our young toddler. The experience was wonderful from beginning to end. They worked with us to find a menu item that was appropriate for our 1.5 year old. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Halfway through the meal, my husband leaned across the table and told me he wanted to go there next year for Father's Day...the best compliment I think."

  • "We made a reservation for two at 9:00 on a Thursday evening. The last time we dined there we both loved our meals and had wonderful service, this time was different. The only thing good was the food and even in the end the manager wouldn't honor a coupon we had, which happened to be the only reason we chose to dine that particular night. Disappointed overall. Dont know when we will return to Flemings."

The GM assisted us with a wine selection that turned out to be delicious. 2006 Burly Cab was a slow opener, but everything you'd want from a hearty Cab with a steak. Speaking of steak, I had the bone-in NY strip which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Starters we chose were the shrimp cocktail (colossal) and a wedge salad. Both were excellent."

  • "First let me say i enjoy Flemings. I have eaten at tje Flemings in Atlanta and in Greensboro. On Mother's Day, Flemings was an accomplice in a not-so-great experience. The restaurant started by being uncomfortably warm. My wife and i were sweating almost immediately and my wife is not prone to sweating. Second, the soft drinks they brought were flat. Third, the bread they brought as a pre-meal treat were not prepared correctly and were so dry that were impossible to choke down. Lastly, our waiter disappeared after delivering our drinks. Combine these misses with a 3 year old who chose mothers day to not cooperateand youll get a good picture of why we left 15 minutes after we were seated."

  • "Fleming's is a pretty reliable steak chain. The Charlotte location does not disappoint. We had a great meal with flavorful and high quality steaks, a great wedge salad and amazing wine. Their selection of California Cabernets is top notch. Not cheap, but right what you expect for a high end steak house. Our servers were attentive despite a minor error with the salads. For what it's worth, they tend to undercook steaks as most restaurants do, so if yours is not 100% right, let them know. Great location and decor. "

  • "I have visiting Flemings all over the country but never for brunch. The easter brunch offered a great menu and our waitress was really. However, we told that the staff were not provided with or given a complete walk through of the menu and ingredients. We had several question about the menu and ingredients including the first course, entree and desserts. Our waitress was not able to provide menu details and seemed lost at times until I prompted here to please inquire. The easter brunch was a good price-value proposition: $39.95 and promotion (FREE $25.00 gift card ). However, the waitress knowledge of the menu could have been better, she attributed this to management's failure to provide a complete walk through of the easter brunch menu."

  • "I was coming to the point of believing I could make better steaks than all the big name steak houses. I was proven wrong with an absolutely fantastic wet-aged NY strip! Cooked perfectly, served well. Great wine list, reasonably priced for high-end less well know gems. Superb attentive and thoughtful service from the front desk through dinner. The salmon was also great, and the chipotle mac and cheese is noteworthy. Finishing with the turtle pie, it was a meal that was well worth the bucks and the calories :)"

  • "We visited this restaurant for the second time and experienced a very high level of service from everyone at the location. However, the food was more production-based and volume driven, and timing was off with delivery to the table. Salads were ok (pre-made and showing signs of it), but were brought to the table almost immediately upon ordering. Main entrees were good ok, but too hot to eat and appeared to have been pulled from an assembly line. For a $40 plus per plate restaurant, I would have expected more. Great wine, great service but Fleming's needs to improve their finished product with that high a price tag. It may be that volume is the focus, especially considering the proximity to EpiCentre. It will be a while before we return."

  • "The food was served quickly, was delicious and the service was perfect. I noticed that the bar was full...every seat occupied because of a special called "5, 6, 7." Five appetizers for $6 before 7 p.m. Makes me want to sit at the bar next time I dine here. I had the Sea Bass and it was worth the $60+ cost."

  • "Parking at the Epicenter is a nightmare. Neither Open Table or the restaurant notified us that valet parking of $20 would be covered by the restaurant. Our steaks were delicious, but the Caesar salads were the worst we've ever had. We would have at least expected fresh and freshly prepared lettuce! Our had been witting for days and was barely edible."

  • "My husband got the prime rib Sunday night special. It was surprisingly chewy, not the usual "melt in your mouth" quality of their prime rib. My Chilean Sea Bass was an 8 oz. portion with two shrimp, it was pretty good, but not great. Certainly not worth the $49 price tag. We usually have such a great experience at Fleming's - service from Jessie was very good, food not so much - somewhat disappointing."

  • "My First time dining at Flemings and it was great! We went on a Sunday and it was naturally less busy. There were times when they were a little busy, but the service was great! The Chilean Sea Bass was outstanding and the wine was fabulous! My husband's steak was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth! We Can't wait to go back!! Sure it's pricey, but they do have a more moderately priced menu that I'm sure is just as tasty. It was a fun experience and sometimes that's why you go! Like I said, can't wait to go back!"

  • "My children (14 & 17) like to sample different upscale restaurants in Charlotte. Unfortunately, Flemings was a disappointment. We went with a friend so there were a total of four diners. Two of the diners prefer their steaks well done, that's just a fact. Our server argued that the cut of meat should be cooked at the most to a medium temperature. It would have been enough if he would have said it once, but he said it a few times, enough to make the diners uncomfortable. It appeared after that dialogue our service slipped. That might have been a coincidence, however, all diners noticed it. The secondary wait staff, however, was the the highlight of the evening. Not what I expected for this costly meal."

  • "Great experience, just pricey... We went to celebrate my birthday, which I noted in my OpenTable reservation. When we checked in the hostess wished me a happy birthday and the server did as well when he arrived at the table. We had a great experience, it's just very expensive. We knew it was pricey, just didn't realize how pricey ($40 for a petite steak with no sides). The bill was soften a little when the server gave me a box of chocolates from the chef for my birthday."

  • "We dined at Flemings on a Sunday night--the slowest night in the week. It has always seemed that when restaurants are 1/3 full things seem sloppy. There was more kitchen noise and fooling around than usual--this is usually an impeccable restaurant, but we heard occassional chatter, exclamations and drops that are out of place in Flemings. The food (barbequed shrim appetizer, prime rib special, fabulous tenderloin, and perfect accompaniments) was terrific as usual. The pair of hostesses seemed overkill at the door. We love this restaurant, and come here for many family celebrations, but i would assume the manager and chef had the night off. The bathrooms had obviously not been cleaned since Saturday night."

  • "This was our second time at Flemings and this time we brought our 10 month old daughter. The waiter was excellent and he brought us more bread because our daughter loved it (in small pieces). The restaurant was quiet which made us nervous in the event that our daughter decided to scream like she normally does but it never happened. The manager came around and asked how our experience was going. This restaurant embodies great customer service! The waiter also validated our valet parking. Such a great end to a wonderful steak dinner. We will be back of course."

  • "My son was going to have the swordfish and the waiter said that "there was better fish on the menu". My son loves salmon, so the waiter said that he would be happier going that direction. He was right. Good call. My wife and I shared a large steak. Excellent flavor and well cooked."

  • "I made reservations for my husband's birthday at Flemings, based upon the good reviews I had read. Everyone we came into contact with wished my husband a happy birthday. We ordered the seafood tower, salads and small plates, with wine and molten chocolate cake. All of the food was excellent, as was the service. We were given take home homemade truffles as a birthday treat. Highly recommend this restaurant!"

  • "Decent side dishes, good steak and atmosphere. Mashed pot. were simply and decent. Chedder mac and cheese were good but not great. Side dishes were comparable to a Applebees. Above average steak that can be found at a high level resturant. Best regards Louis Brown"
