Wow...by the end of the dinner, I had enjoyed my best meal ever. It was the special that night.....asparagus topped with a superb filet, topped with a bernaise sauce which had chunks of lobster. So, so good. My husband had the seasonal special which was a Cedar, orange and tea-smoked filet mignon ...he LOVED it. So aside from the great good, service was top-knotch. A meal for two with a salad, entree, side item and dessert could easily surpass $150. That said, the food and service is excellent. Wait staff were professional and attentive without being over-solicitous. My wife enjoyed a barbequed salmon which she proclaimed was the best if not close to the best she had ever eaten. My Newport filet was done to my specifications and was clearly a select piece of meat. We did not partake of the wines but really enjoyed the bread with two house cheese spreads presented before the meal. We plan to return for our anniversary.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I had the specialMy wife and I had the special that has been running for about 5 weeks.....6 oz filet with 8 oz lobster tail, salad or soup, side of spaghetti squash. Fantastic. My wife said it was probably the best lobster tail she had ever had and the steaks were very tender and cooked to perfection. My wife loved the baked french onion soup and my favorite salad accompanied the special entree (the wedge). We had a great dinner.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect Evening.Was looking for a nice restaurant to treat my friends to while at a nearby convention. Flemings did not disappoint. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. If you go you MUST try the Flemings potatoes, for they are devine. Our server was glorious and efficient. Came and checked up on us in the right amounts and we were never lacking for anything. Gave a little sass back when sass was given (always a plus in my book). Made the meal in my opinion.
Flemings was a great experience and I will be returning when in the area.
