And, on the rare occasion when something isn't perfect, they are quick to resolve any issues and gracious about it. We like it better than Mastro's or Ruth Chris.   • "We thought we'd try Beverly Hills instead of Redondo Beach since its closer. It wasn't bad but it wasn't like the one we usually go to. They forgot to ask us how we wanted our meat prepared and finally when I called over our waiter and said we'd like to tell you how we want our steak he said oh I forgot and then he got it wrong. Our steak should have been prepared Med. Rare instead it came Med. Well and to our fault we did not send it back so we take part of the blame. Other than that my Lobster was terrific!"

  • "I must confess that we went with gift certificates and didn't have high expectations. But it was an excellent meal, and certainly comparable with other prime chain steakhouses like Morton's and Ruth's Chris. One of the best, classic Old Fashioneds I've had in a long time. Delicious caesar salad. Great, perfectly cooked steaks. Scrumptious mac 'n cheese. All capped off by the Walnut Turtle Pie -- which was horribly undersold by our server. It may have been the star of the night. My only complaint is that the service was a bit slow, especially with the wine service (which we had to take on ourselves)."

We were celebrating my recent graduation so it would have been nice to have an error-free dinner but sometimes you're just off your game. We LOVE Fleming's so we will give this location another chance."

  • "We both ordered the bone-in ribeye, a steak priced at over $50, which was recommended to us by the waiter. It was fine—but hardly worth its price tag. The sides were tasty, but a $50 steak needs to be a cut above what I could make at home, and definitely tastier than a $25 skirt steak at a mid-priced restaurant. The four scallops we shared as an appetizer (over $20, also too expensive) were similarly unremarkable. Prices like that require food that you remember; this didn't make the grade. We were also kept waiting about 20 minutes after our reservation time. The hostesses were not rude, but were not genuine; nor was anyone apologetic about the wait. This was a special-occasion dinner, and I wish we'd gone elsewhere."

The food was pretty good, but the I still think it's overpriced and the appetizers and side plates (which are supposed to be shared) are really small. It's a great restaurant, but I kept comparing it to Mastro's, so maybe I had the same expectations. It's a great place for groups though and the bar scene appears to be fun. "

  • "This is our second time at Fleming's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills. This is a place where service is above and beyond expectation without attitude. The pepper corn steak was done at the right temperature and the swordfish was juicy. The server was very knowledgeable in recommending the right kind of wine to go with the steak. We had the cheesecake this time but the lava cake is recommended for first timer. Will definitely go back for a nice dining experience. A place to entertain guest from out of town."

  • "We used to frequent this location when it was the LA Food Show, loved that restaurant and were saddened when it closed. When we heard through an Amex card promotion that this location had reopened as Fleming's Steakhouse, we were excited to give it a try. We discovered the place has been remodeled and it looks even more amazing, warm and inviting. We find the food (the steaks, sides and salads) to be really good and the drinks to be great. We have had the same server the last 2 visits (a tall, blond guy) who is amazing, attentive, very friendly and professional. The rest of the staff were obviously well-trained, professional, friendly and nice, too. Kudos to management! This made our dining experiences all the better. "

  • "We usually go to the Fleming's in El Segundo, but we couldn't get reservations for Easter Brunch. But this Beverly Hills one was open for reservations, so we gave it a try. It was very nice, and we had a great brunch. Much nicer than Ruth's Chris. We would recommend it to anyone who likes steak."

  • "I made a reservation utilizing Urban Spoon, which I recommend. The wine list was one of the largest I've ever seen (I recommend the Predator Zinfandel BTW). The service was top notch, with our server taking every opportunity to make suggestions, and to ensure our meals were to our liking. The Ribeye was prepared exactly how I had asked for it to be cooked. The atmosphere at Flemings is perfect. The manager was sure to check in on us, and gave us a business card, along with a coupon for a future visit. We were very pleased."

  • "The steaks here were exactly as good as they were advertised. We ordered several appetizers and small plates, and, for the most part, they were delicious. The vegetables that came with the scallops were strange tasting and kind of unpleasant and I have had better lava cake, but the tomato and burrata salad, the steak, the scallops, and the mushroom ravioli were delicious. The complementary bread was good on its own, but add to it the flavored butter, I could have made a meal out of it. The service was excellent as well. Overall, a very good experience."

  • "The restaurant is very nice and cozy. It is one of the smaller Flemings I have been to, but the food and service is just as good as all the rest. One thing nice about this location is that you can park next door, in a public lot (for $2.00 less money and no tip) and after dinner you have the nice ambiance of Beverly Hills shops to walk casually by and window shop to complete the wonderful evening."

  • "It's a steak house, and meat is meat; however, we started our night with a grits and scallop appetizer. Yuuuuumy! Everything else after that just added to our enjoyable evening. You can't beat this place for customer service. Everyone one of the employees at this restaurant graduated at the top of their class with making their customers feel appreciate. I would go back and spend my money simply because I love the way they treat their customers."

  • "Our steaks were chewy and rarer than ordered. Their wine list is tricky - they have wines by the glass at reasonable prices, but then say orally that it is for a small pour. It made a $13 glass of chardonnay $20. I really HATE the fact that these places serve you the steak and NOTHING on the plate. Then they want yo to order sides at $10 for mashed potatoes Put something on the plate with the entree. They were very nice-as I told them it was my birthday-- dessert was an absurd $13. The chef came around and greeted people, and again that was a nice touch. I wnet to Flemings at LA Live 3 times, and had a mature time with excellent food and service. I would go to LA Live again, but not to this Beverly Hills place."

  • "Beverly Hills has a 1k dining points so we went. We walked in and asked if they had the special 6 for 7 at the bar. We were told we could sit at our table and get drinks from the bar. Our server offered to get the drinks for us. He came back with the manager who said she was sorry but we could not have the drinks brought from the bar to our table...like it was our idea. If we had just done what we said we would do in the beginning, we would not have had the manager involved and would have finished our drinks at the table. We didn't want to hassle so we ordered them from the server. At $15.50 each, the martini's were watered down and we were upset we hadn't done the $6 deal at the bar. My steak was also very fatty. I won't be back to BH."

  • "We had a very different experience this time around. We had a wonderful server who made sure that things occurred in a timely fashion. The food was, for the most part, much better. The spreads for the bread were yummy, Jim's steak was prepared properly and we enjoyed the onions and the garlic mashed potatoes we ordered. We also had the cheesecake, which was delicious. The only thing that wasn't perfect about the food was my steak. I ordered a bone-in ribeye and it was a bit overdone. I like it medium and it was done just past any pink. The manager saw it and wanted to take it back and make me a new one but I declined. Though I was a bit surprised that they didn't get medium right. It's so basic. All that said, I enjoyed the meal very much."
