Fleming's Steakhouse - Baton RougeLate night bite @ FlemingsI arrived at approximately 10:15 pm and there were four tables still occupied.
I ordered the heirloom and burratta salad, while good would not be my first choice next time I dine.
The bread was quite tasty and came with two types of spread.
I had the filet and salmon special, both quite good. The salmon was sourced from the North Altantic and although prepared superbly was quite mild compared to Sockeye. Reminded me more of coho.
The filet was prepared nicely, although the topping which I believe was goat cheese was not to my liking. I did try some f17 sauce and it was quite nice.
The waiter recommended a Pinot noir, Belle Glos(sp) which was fantastic!

Our steaks were perfect, and the dessert - chocolate lava cake is heaven. Our server lovely, friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that I don't like being sat in a side room. The food arrived in good time and, for the most part, was quite delicious. There was some slight overcooking of my filet and risotto, but other than this slight problem, everything was very good.
