  • "It had been a little while since I had dined at Fleming's and was eager to see if anything had changed. It had always been a favorite of mine. I was not disappointed. Service was prompt and courteous. I had a large Filet and it was cooked to perfection. My baked potato was just right, large and fluffy. I had also ordered the sautéed green beans and the sautéed corn. Both were good but a bit spicy for my taste. I did however enjoy them. I told my waiter that I enjoyed sweet wines and he recommended a Moscato. It was great. Nice crisp sweet taste and didn't leave an aftertaste. I topped off the evening with some Crème Brulee. Mmmmmm. Thanks to Fleming's for a great evening. I can't wait to return."

  • "Great tasting food. NOTE: Side Dishes come in Lrg shareable portions. If you like a lot of spice, order Fleming's Potatoes. If you like moderate spice, order sautéed mushrooms. Both are fabulous. Mango Ice Tea is great. Highly recommend the 6oz Petite Filet. It's really NOT Petite. Nice & thick too. Excellent Taste, no condiments required. Just Savor the Flavor. Also recommend the ribeye. Professional, Mature Minded, Attentive Wait Staff. A couple can eat very well for under $200.(no alcohol) Plentiful Menu to choose from."

  • "Wasn't sure about Fleming's from some of the reviews which said it was really noisy and the service and food wre not up to par for the prices. My husband and I went there and found the food was excellent, as was the service. The noise level was no more than in many other restaurants we frequent. As for the service, it was very good and on the same level as some of the nicer restaurants we frequent in Baton Rouge. The only thing a tad off was my husband's filet was a bit mealy and seemed it may have been slightly over marinated. I ended up eating his filet, which I thought was very good, and he had most of my really nice ribeye. We will certainly add Fleming's to our list for Thursday "date night"."

The wine list is impeccable here, and I wasn't short on delicious options. They always treat you right whether it's a special occasion or just a night out on the town. The food was fabulous and our server was superb! We will definitely be back and will also continue bringing business associates to this wonderful hot spot! Keep up the great work guys!"

This is fine for a random dinner, but when the final bill for dinner and a bottle of wine is $160 before the tip, we need the food to be excellent. The steak and sides were inferior to what one would get at Ruth's Chris."

  • "We love the Flemings here in Baton Rouge, its our favorite Steak House in town. In would recommend Flemings over Sullivans & Ruth Chris here in BR. It has the one of the best Ribeyes I have ever had. Its has a good atmosphere with out being to stuffy with GREAT service and a good wine list. It also has a good bar area with a good happy hour and a outside area. They also take reservations. This is where we go when we want to be pampered & have a excellent steak. We go to Flemings at least once a month. Go & have a excellant dinner!!!"

  • "This was our third trip to Fleming's over the past year. After a very good experience a few weeks ago, we returned with guests. The service, noise and food quality were completely off. On Friday at around 6:00 p.m., the music was so loud that we could not hear each other at the table. Although some of my favorite songs were played, the music did not fit the occasion. We had to ask for the specials. A drink took no less than 20 minutes to arrive. Half of the $59 special New York strip steak was completely overcooked. We did not see our server again for quite a while to comp[lain. Usually the server offers to put in the featured dessert while you eat because it takes several minutes to cook. She didn't. Fleming's missed the mark."

  • "We decided on Fleming's for our New Year's celebration meal, and we are so glad we did. It was a wonderful experience that began the minute we walked through the door. We had a reservation, and were seated promptly after informing the hostess of our arrival. They took my date's coat and checked it when they seated us, and the waiter, Michael, arrived almost immediately. When asked about a particular wine, he was knowledgeable and made excellent suggestions. The meal flowed beautifully, with each new course being deluvered right when you would expect it. The staff was attentive and helpful, and the food was nothing short of amazing. I will be coming back to Fleming's in the future without a doubt. I've never had a better dinner out."

They had no compassion for any other patrons in the restaurant. I noticed the management didn't do anything to quite them down.   • "I figured at 8:30 PM on a Thursday night they would have been busy but it wasn't. There were tables all around. however the service was terrible. We waited for about 15 minutes before the waitress got our drink order. The timing of the food was off. We were only half through the salads when the steaks appeared. The food was ok but not great. Had to ask for refills and we were almost done with the meal before we were asked about desert including the lava cake that takes 20+ minutes. I have had better experiences in a restaurant half the price of this. Seriously, 2 steaks, 2 salads, 1 potato dish that wasn't large enough for 2 people and 2 glasses of wine for $130. I'll go to Ruth Chris next time; at least the service will be up to par."

  • "The food was phenomenal. I had the broiled swordfish, and my gal had the pork chop. To add, we also ordered some drinks, and they aren't shy with their premium liquors. I have never felt so pampered while eating, and still felt like I had plenty of opportunity to speak with my company. Also, our waiter, Jon Davis, is incredible. It was our first time dining there, and he provided plenty of help with anything we needed. The greatest part was, he never seemed to ask if we needed anything or how everything tasted with food still in our mouths. We are definitely planning on going back for special occasion mostly only because our budgets don't allow us to eat there every day. Jon informed us about happy hour 5 for $6 til 7. We will be back soon."
