Fleming's Steakhouse - AtlantaExcellent Dining ExperienceI had a large group of 10 customers into Flemings recently and the experience was excellent from beginning to end. After reserving with OpenTable the hostess contacted me to confirm my reservation. She was very proactive and when our guest list shrunk by a couple they reconfigured our table to keep it intimate. The hostess (Lisa) greeted my guest as they arrived and seated them with us. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Their selection of wines is impressive and computerized; unfortunately, we did not find any staff who were facile with it, so we (& they) used the printed copy of their list). The wine we wanted, a riessling, was available,. Crab cake appetizer was the best part of the meal! Our server suggested it. We added the Fleming's salad, a worthy, but not outstanding dish. We share the 11 oz. filet. It was cooked to our satisfaction, but was coarse and tender enough for a good night out, but not a gourmet dinner. The mushrooms made a side dish that was exactly right. The Perfect Manhattan was perfectly prepared. The Filet Mignon and NY Strip were prepared perfectly to our choice of doneness and flavorful.
