Fleet Street Kitchen, featuring locally sourced modern American cuisine, is a growing influence on the evolving culinary scene in downtown Baltimore, combining exceptional food, drinks, and service.

Situated between historic Little Italy and the new Harbor East neighborhoods, Fleet Street Kitchen captures the energy of the surrounding communities and creates a dining destination with its style and atmosphere.

The menu is an ever changing collection of seasonally inspired selections with a strong emphasis on locally sourced, ethically raised, sustainable ingredients. Many of these - including produce, eggs, pork, lamb, and beef - are grown nearby on Cunningham Farms, which is owned by the restaurant.

Accompanying and enhancing the kitchen's offerings is an extensive and diverse offering of artisanal wines, beers and specialty cocktails, along with distinctive coffees and teas.

  • "We had a party of 6 for restaurant week. This was our third visit to Fleet Street Kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed all three visits. The food was local, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The Rockfish was flaky and crispy on the outside and not over cooked, the sirloin was phenomenal, our only complaint was our pork chops was slightly dry. The wait staff was professional and the valet parking outside ($6) was very convenient! Another small suggestion is to not have the table for 6 so close to the walkway. Perhaps this is the only space they have for a table for 6, but you do feel a little like you are sitting halfway in a hallway. Overall, we highly recommend Fleet Street, you will not be disappointed!"

  • "Maybe it was an off night but Valet is the worst. You park your car and go and get your ticket. The Valet guy stays at his station. Very Odd. Now for the rest of the evening. Fleet Street is good, not great. The Cunningham farm ingredients are overrated. I have been to Cunninghams and now Fleet Street and they are not memorable. There are better restaurants in the surrounding area. If you are looking for bland food and most of our meals were overcooked (just a bit) go to Fleet Street. Stay away from the short ribs. Mostly fat ( same at Cunningham's). I do go out a lot to dinner in Baltimore and this was not that great but what do I know?"

  • " Highly recommend the Salmon for course one. Other guests at the table had the chicken and ratatouille soup. The chicken reminded me of nuggets from McDonald. The soup was good; chilled with a pinch of spice. Highly recommend the Rockfish or Steak for the second course. Both were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the blueberry dessert. You are given a fair amount of blueberries and ice cream is included 😋😋😋😋. Lastly, I recommend you include the wine pairing with your meal. Enjoy 😃"

  • "I had the squash salad, pork loin and blueberry dessert from the r.w. menu. I was really impressed with the attention to detail when it came to sauces and garnishes. They paired well with the main ingredient to create balanced dishes. Everything was seasoned well. The baby onion garnishes on the steak were memorable. The cooking was fairly light and I left the dinner feeling good. The wine pairings were excellent as well. Service was quick and without being intrusive."

Both our main courses were cooked perfectly. The chefs palate was on par with a five star restaurant. AWESOME! My only complaint is that the $40 bottle of wine was grossly overpriced for the quality."

  • "We came in to try the restaurant week menu. The pork was WAY overdone (they made us a new one, which was still overdone, but edible). The fish was also a bit overcooked, but the rest of the dish was delicious (the clam chowder jus was awesome)! The smoked salmon was also excellent. Holly was great behind the bar - professional, yet friendly. I find the wine list here has quite a few "trophy" bottles, but lacks a middle-range (~$60-120) if you just want a nice wine without going for broke on say, a Tuesday that isn't necessarily a special occasion. I've had great food here before (and our starters/desserts were good), so I'm assuming restaurant week just made for a slip-up or two."

  • "My wife and I went here for restaurant week and were delighted with how our dining experience went. Our server was unparalleled; super-friendly and extremely helpful in describing food items/making recommendations. We absolutely loved every one of our dishes. I got the chilled ratatouille and it is honestly one of my favorite small dishes of all time now. The chicken barbecue skewers were also excellent. For our main dishes, we got the crispy rockfish and the steak, both of which were seasoned and cooked to perfection! As it was my birthday, they gave me a complimentary flourless chocolate cake that was actually better than the two desserts we ordered (upside down blueberry cake with sweet corn ice cream and fromage blanc cheesecake)."

  • "The food and service was no where near Wolf/Foreman. Our lead waiter tried his best but a well oiled machine it wasn't, as a matter of fact the service was concerning at some points from the hostess who seated us next to the kitchen in a totally empty dining room, wine parings not making it to the table until after the meals were served, duplicate appetizers coming to the table and our departure being ignored by the hostess as we left. To top it off my rockfish was overcooked, the mushroom stew was unappetizing and my cheesecake was dreadful. I will not be returning."

  • "The wine is very expensive - the only chardonnay on the menu is $13/glass. We were to be seated in the dining room, but the tables were squeezed way too close together. I didn't feel like bumping elbows with people seated on either side of us, so we opted for a hightop in the bar area, which is rather noisy. The food was good and our server was nice, but then the bill came. It was only the two of us, and we asked to split the bill 50/50 on our credit cards. Somehow their computer system couldn't figure that out and when we finally did get our bill, it included someone else's dinner. It probably took another 15 minutes to straighten it all out. All in all, there are a number of good restaurants in Baltimore where I'd rather spend my money."

All of the Wait staff pitched in to clear dishes, glassware or any item on the table. That was unique to Fleet Street Kitchen! Chef Nate was fabulous along with the other chefs.   • "My son and granddaughter, age 9, accompanied me. We chose to sit outside and enjoyed the ambiance there. The wait staff - Deidra - I think - was there at the right time with the right dish and very accommodating. We were there for Restaurant week and the adults had the $30. 3 course dinner with wines - we were delighted with each dish as was my granddaughter, who stated, "This is the best steak I have ever eaten". Thank You. We shall return from West Virginia where I have an herb farm, La Paix Herb Farm."

They accommodated our large party despite being busy and having every other table booked, and everything was exceptional. We would definitely go back. Very small piece of fish for another dinner. Service was very fast. We were there less than an hour with a three course meal and wine pairings. Greeted with a birthday card by Bianca, who was a knowledgeable and delightful server, and ending with a beautiful extra birthday treat, Baked Alaska! The pace of each course presented was comfortable. We did have to take the last course with us, which they happily boxed up. This was a fine dining experience, snapper, beef, pasta and every course beautifully prepared. A slam dunk!"

The food was good but nothing exceptional especially with those prices. The service however was excellent. This was my second time trying out this place and will most likely not return."

  • "My husband I recently visited Fleet Street Kitchen. He ordered the Kazi Mule cocktail, which was expertly made. The heirloom caprese salad was good, but nothing new. My husband enjoyed the red snapper, which was elevated by the peach salsa. My linguine was disappointing. It was one note and very boring, I was expecting more flavor. The chocolate tart for dessert saved my meal! It is very rich, but delicious."

  • "We are totally in love with this place. Let me just tell you all the good stuff.... Wine list is amazing and had a great selection of high end to reasonably priced options. I had the chicken (seems boring) but NOT AT ALL, absolutely outstanding. The skin was crisp and the breast meet was tender and juicy. Hubby had the steak and it was cooked perfectly - he likes rare and can never get a steak house to actually make it rare. We also had brussel sprouts and scallops as sides - they were divine! The service was outstanding and they wait staff took the time to ensure we were happy. There was never an empty wine glass :-) Lastly, we had a cappuccino type ice cream dessert and it was heavenly! You will love this place!"

Other moments, we are waiting for a second glass of wine for the last few bites of steak. Coffee comes 10 minutes after dessert and the server is no where to be found. Otherwise ..   • "Tried this place based on reviews and having been named one of the best restaurants of Baltimore. This was for a special occasion and so we were looking forward to excellent service and delicious food. We decided on the four course menu. The first two courses and the dessert course were superb, however the quality of the main dishes varied. Do NOT get the rockfish! This dish came out overlooked and dry, to the point that it was inedible. When pointed out, they immediately brought out another. However, this time, it was undercooked, raw in fact, in the middle. When pointed out, was told that it was the vein (?)! The waiter seemed annoyed--so as to not ruin the special night, let it go. Unfortunate, because now we have no desire to come back."

  • "I had heard so many great things about this restaurant and so was very disappointed. The food was a bit bland - I started with scallops which were very tasty but the sauce on the plate with them had not taste - it was some green vegetable sauce I believe. They brought out our main course at the same time as the first course asking "is it ok? our kitchen prepared both of them". We said, no please let us finish our first course. When we got our second course (halibut), it was dry and also very bland. Good service, nice people but food was not what I expected."

  • "The service was awful. While the waiter was not responsive, neither was the somalier. Dinner took over three hours. When courses were served, the silverware was not. Literally we had plates of food and no forks. When the rest of the table was served, my dinner (essentially a cold entre) did not arrive until much later. The excuse that the kitchen is backed up wears thin after it is used multiple times. There is much to like in the food here but nothing positive to be said about the service other than that the waiter did apologize for his failures."
