  • "The service was great except for the fact that I went to FL for steak calamari only to be told they were out! Talk about disappointed..."

  • "Everything about our lunch on Saturday was nice except our food. Calamari's were cold and breading fell off and there was enough for maybe one person. Fried green tomatoes were also barely at room temp. Fish and Shrimp were overcooked Both orders of shrimp and grits were cold when they got to the table and way oversalted, my friend couldn't finish her dish. Desserts and Drinks were perfect, cold and very refreshing."

  • "This place is great!! Amazing views and wonderful food!!"
    Dined on 7/17/2014
  • "Very touristy, but it's what I expected. Overpriced, which I did not expect. I'm local. However, the party took was not and loved the experience. They, too, thought it was a bit pricey for the quality of the food"

  • "This was our second vist to fleet landing. The location overlooking the harbor is one of the best in charleston. The food is well prepared and the service quick and efficient. The kitchen serves southern cuisine with fresh ingredients. Reservations are recommended."

  • "This is one of our favorite places. We love to sit out on the deck. The food is alway good and the hush puppies are the best!!!"

  • "Good location for view of the harbor while you're dining. Good food and service. Waitress recommended the triggerfish and it was really good. Mid-range on price, but not too expensive. Easy to walk to from market in historic Charleston. We ate dinner there. Building is nothing fancy to look at but it's need because it has Navy history."

  • "My husband and I went to Fleet's Landing for dinner on our first anniversary. We requested a table with a view of the harbor, so we had a fantastic view. Our waitress was very good as well. We got the stuffed hushpuppies on a recommendation from a friend and they were excellent! Highly recommend Fleet's Landing!"

  • "We arrived a few minutes early, but we were seated immediately at a table right near the window with a beautiful harbor view. The food was great, both the swordfish and red snapper were well prepared and tasty. Excellent service by Hannah. Overall, a great meal!"

  • "Great food! Will definitely go back next visit to Charleston!"

  • "For years Fleet Landing's been one of our favorites in a city of very good restaurants. This past Friday made reservations and were seated right away even with the wait being an hour and a half! Service was attentive and friendly as usual. But this was the first time in 10 years the flounder plate was not cooked as we had come to expect. Usually very light breading with perfect taste. Better than other places costing more. This time very thin and dry. Hope next time is the Fleet we have relied on. Probably caught them at a BUSY time. There WAS an hour AND 1/2 wait."

  • "Great food, good service. Perfect location. Terrific attitude when I sent my steak back for just a little more time on the grill, which is not the case with most places. The gm even came over to apologize, which was totally unnecessary but a really impressive touch. One of our best meals in charleston!"

  • "Very friendly wait staff and casual atmosphere with a great location and view of the Charleston waterfront."

  • "Even though we had a reservation, SEVERAL others walked in and got better seating (view of the water)."

  • "First visit was a dinner date, and although it was busy and crowded, our dinner table was outside, private and cozy. Food and drinks were outstanding and service was excellent. I returned with a friend for lunch a few days later and it was quite busy and noisy but we enjoyed the activity. Service was friendly but food came out slowly. Highly recommend the fried oyster appetizer."

  • "When in charleston, there are so many amazing reaturants to choose from, choose a different one. Food is mediocre, but not over priced. Service was great, hostess seemed a little annoyed. Nothing special here folks. The tartar sauce was interesting, very good, but I thought it was more of a remoulade sauce."
    Dined on 7/4/2014
  • "Very glad we made reservations because this restaurant was at full capacity and with a long wait line out the door. We were seated promptly and with views of the harbor. Our server was attentive. Drinks were great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Lovely evening."

  • "A great find on our first trip to Charleston. The best seafood pasta I ever ate."
    Dined on 7/2/2014
  • "On my most recent trip to Charleston four of us ate at Fleet Landing and we will certainly visit again!!! You should definitely make reservations, a must!! The whole scored flounder was terrific...a little more apricot sauce needed, and the other dishes, scallops and trigger fish were clean plates!!! Biscuits that were brought to the table with honey butter were perfect as we awaited our entrees. Awesome venue on the water! A sure gem in Charleston. The ONLY negative...the parking!!! But that's okay!!!"

  • "This was our second time at Fleet Landing and we were not disapointed! Great food, great view, great service, and very attentive staff makes for a very pleasurable time."

  • "I took a customer to dinner there and we both ordered the special "grouper". The waiter came back after awhile and told us they only had 1 left so I ordered the swordfish instead. The swordfish was OK, a bit dry. We both also ordered side salads (were told these were not a part of one of 2 sides) and the salads came late, after our main course arrived. This was my first time going there is some time, was not impressed with the food or service."

  • " It was OK, nothing over the top. the waitress took her time to recommend the catch of the day she came back to tell us they ran out. OK, so now what."
    Dined on 6/29/2014
  • "It was a great pick for our 45th wedding anniversary dinner."
    Dined on 6/28/2014
  • "We keep coming back to Fleet Landing for the great food and service but our last two visits we had errors in our order with side items missing, a minor annoyance. My only real complaint is the AC is either still broken or they choose to not use it and leave the doors wide open on a humid, 85 degree day. Not a comfortable way to dine inside! Hopefully they'll get the air fixed soon!"
    Dined on 6/28/2014
  • "The fish selection at the Fleet was great. I had the special blackened grouper, which was incredibly fresh, served with collard greens and rice. The greens were wonderful...the rice was so-so. My husband loved his fried flounder sandwich and the crab cake we shared was absolutely wonderful and filled with crab! We will definitely return when we want good seafood at a reasonable price (we went at lunch) with a great view of the water."

  • "Because of some not so hot reviews, we almost skipped this spot. SOOOOOO glad we didn't. The food was great and the service was great as well, the pouring rain afterwards meant CAB RIDE!!! The only negative was the air conditioning wasn't working, if there even was air conditioning."

  • "This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and it was wonderful. Great view of the river and harbor and the staff was phenomenal. True Southern Hospitality. A reservation is definitely a must and Open Table made it very simple! I highly recommend Fleet!"

  • "Fine mid level seafood restaurant. Perfectly OK, food good, nothing exceptional."
    Dined on 6/26/2014
  • "Friends recommended Fleet Landing. On our visit the air conditioning had just been repaired so the restaurant was pretty warm making it a little uncomfortable. Would recommend it for families with small children. Food was okay but nothing special."

  • "We were seated on the outdoor patio which, at first, was a problem since the sun was in our eyes. But, we enjoyed watching all of the boats in the harbor. I had the fried flounder and shrimp which was delicious. Our friend had the whole flounder and he found it to be overcooked. The manager came over and apologized and only charged him half of the price. Service was great!"

  • "I gambled on The Fleet Landing as a restaurant to which to take my mother for her 79th birthday, knowing that she loves great seafood (and resents eating where the food is poorly prepared and/or poorly served.) Kinda tough to satisfy her, to be honest. However, she was pleased with the menu and even the outdoor seats which provided a pleasant and relaxed view of the scenic Charleston Harbor (right next to Waterfront Park.) Our waitress (Miranda) was another pleasant surprise: Energetic, observant, friendly, courteous and genuine in her desire to provide good service without the pretentiousness one finds in wait-staff at other fine restaurants on the Peninsula. Delicious seafood (scallops, flounder, shrimp = excellent!) Even B-day cake!"
