Fleet Landing Restaurant & BarOne of my favorites! This restaurant is near the market and in the middle of the tourist area. This is one restaurant that locals feel is worth going to even during the height of tourist season. My husband and have been here several times and has become the place we take out of town guests. The seafood is consistently great! We had friend from Maryland go here with us and they said the crab cakes were the best ever. I would recommend the shrimp to anyone.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMHarbor view and great food!We ate here based on a recommendation of a local. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious and beautifully presented and the server was very attentive. We had the fried green tomato/crab salad appetizer and the crispy flounder. Both were outstanding. We will definitely return to this restaurant on our next trip to Charleston!6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGood Eats for a Good Price!Fleet Landing was an excellent place to eat. The crab cake BLT was the one of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted. My wife had the Pimento Cheese Burger which was excellent! Cannot go wrong with either of those two sandwiches. We sat outside on the bay and it was amazing. We got lucky because it wasn't very hot that day. If you want to go for lunch try to arrive before noon as the place fills up really fast. We arrived at 11:45 and there were only a couple tables with customers. When we left about an hour later, the place was completely filled and it is a good size restaurant.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome as always! My wife and I have been here a few times. Never had a bad thing to say about this restaurant and today's no exception. Went there for a belated anniversary dinner. Left a note while doing the online booking letting them know. Every person we interacted with congratulated us. They made sure it was a special night for us. We cannot thank them enough.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food!Food was great and noise level was perfect for our screaming/laughing 10-month old!6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistently delicious seafoodWhenever I come to Charleston, I make sure to have dinner at Fleet Landing. Don't expect to find a parking space anywhere close to the restaurant (there is a parking garage just up the street - go ahead and park there). I was very happy to see that they take reservations, because the wait can be quite long at this popular restaurant. The view across the water to Fort Sumter is nice, and even if you don't sit outside, there are plenty of windows so that you have the same view as if you were sitting outside. Our waiter this past Monday night was very attentive, friendly, and courteous. The seafood is fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable ($17.99 for a seafood platter).6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a favorite when we'reAlways a favorite when we're in Charleston. The food is consistently well prepared. I tried the shrimp & grits this time & was impressed with the low country flavor.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMI COME HERE WHEN EVER I WANTI COME HERE WHEN EVER I WANT FRESH SEAFOOD.I HAVE BROUGHT FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND NEVER DISAPPOINTED.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Fried SeafoodFleet Landing always delivers good, fried seafood...but Saturday night
the food was the best I've dined on at that restaurant. Keep it coming.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat SeafoodFleet Landing is a wonderful seafood restaurant. Seeing outside and watching the Cooper River flow with large ships, beautiful peligans flying around and smelling the sail air made our delicious food that much better. Even our 8 year old granddaughter enjoyed her meal The restaurant is a great place to eat in Charleston, SC.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstandingThe two guests I had with me had never been there and they loved sitting outside by the water. Cool breeze, good food, good wine and great conversation! Noise level was non existent.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat view of the water andGreat view of the water and wonderful food. We had the fresh catch of the day and totally enjoyed it while sitting outside watching dolphins.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMCan't beat the view!Fabulous place to watch the sail boats, motor boats and tourist boats go by, as you wine and dine on the patio. There are three sides to the patio, so you can always find shade or sun. When we were there, a monster cruise ship was in port (nearby), and by sitting on the south side patio, we could not even see the ship and enjoyed the boats and view southeast across the Cooper River. After lunch, stroll through Waterfront Park - it is right next door.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThe excellent food was onlyThe excellent food was only overmatched by the wonderful wait staff.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMgood fresh seafood, outdoor seatingFleet Landing is a fairly basic, unpretentious seafood restaurant, but they do it right -- the main thing is that the seafood and sides are fresh. Sit on the deck if possible -- great view of the harbor.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMNice view from the deckThis restaurant was recommended to us by a friend when she heard we were visiting Charleston over the Memorial Day weekend. We were not disappointed and truly enjoyed our dining experience.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMMy experience here was absolutelyMy experience here was absolutely outstanding. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the scenic view was terrific. The restaurant was very busy when I was there but since I had made reservations my table was ready and in a great location. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMIncredibleGreat Bloody Mary, great she crab soup, great fresh fried seafood, perfect service, amazing outdoor seating on the water.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waiter was very gregarious,Our waiter was very gregarious, engaging and attentive. The grits were outstanding, as were the bloody mary's. The only thing that was a little disappointing were the soggy fried oysters. Our out of town guests, however, thought everyone was sublime!5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved ItFleet Landing was one of the best places I've eaten in Charleston after living here for almost 4 years. It was our anniversary and we had a great experience with excellent food. The only downside was that when we were seated, we waited 5-10 minutes before a waiter addressed us and asked for our drink orders. I wasn't upset because the restaurant was slammed and very busy, but it was sort of off putting. The other thing is that they were out of a beer I wanted and they were out of several other items on the menu. This is not a huge downer because it was a holiday weekend and it's understandable with such a busy time at a popular restaurant, and the waiter was very friendly and courteous about the trouble.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat findWe lucked out and could walk here from our hotel. Casual, easy going. No need to get dressed up. Loved the crab bisque. Really loved the spinach artichoke dip. Good variety of menu choices.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Start to CharlestonWe had a reservation but had to wait an extra 15 mins because it was so busy Memorial Day. Food was good. My first time trying Shrimp and grits. Both were delicious I just realized I don't care for the combination.
A bit touristy but nice view on the water5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFleet on Memorial Day WeekendI had a reservation and we arrived there was a 11/2 hour wait. We were not only seated right away but allowed to choose indoor or outdood seating. The service was great and the view outstanding, I will return to this restaurant.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMI visited the restaurant duringI visited the restaurant during 2013 Spoleto Festival and was glad that I made reservations. The menu had so many choices and it was hard for me to make up my mind. The Flounder with Apricot sauce was awesome. I can't remember the name of the waitress, but she was very accommodating and polite. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to others and can't wait to return.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMCasual good food, good bar.Casual good food, good bar. The apricot flounder is the best dish on the menu!!!!!5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were just in town for twoWe were just in town for two days and wanted to see the water while we ate. Martini at the bar, poured perfectly. Then seated...a great glass of Pinot Grigio, the water view was lovely, could see fort sumter in the distance. Shared a great hushpuppy seafood app (yum), two bites of my husband's she crab soup (yum yum), shared pink snapper (yum yum yum). No room for dessert, but left satisfied with a great buzz. This restaurant was not fancy but great food and great service!!!!5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMDined outside with a viewDined outside with a view of Fort Sumter, shrimp boats, a sailboat "race" and Waterfront Park, with water lapping the shore below. Delicious shrimp lunch. Relaxing atmosphere. A wonderful experience.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious food and great view! This was my favorite dining experience in Charleston. Had brunch outside - beautiful view of the harbor. I had the bbq pork, grits and biscuits and it was delicious.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways outstanding. One ofAlways outstanding. One of our favorites for celebrating.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat expieienceYour staff very accomodating. The hostess are real credit to your organization.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat viewThis building has an interesting history as a Naval landing point. We had a lovely dinner overlooking Charleston Harbor, Fort Moultrie and Fort Sumter. Our waiter was quite personable and knowledgeable.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMHave eaten here during threeHave eaten here during three different stays in Charleston. Always great food! This was our first time since the construction of the cruise terminal which ,sadly, blocks much of the view. Reservations online super convenient.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Waterfront DiningDined at Fleet for lunch Monday May 13, 2013. Fried oyster platter was the best I've had. Oysters were large and not over-seasoned. Fleet Signature Angus Burger was terrific with pimento cheese and smoked bacon topping. Shrimp-n-grits was superb. Shrimp are local, not frozen overseas variety. We dined on the outside deck, and the view was terrific. Service was excellent. We toured around town and returned to Fleet Landing again for dinner. Again, our dining experience was first rate.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMothers Day - great seafoodOur cats wanted their mother to have a great Sunday dinner and Fleet Landing provided it. Excellent local oysters on the half shell, fried shrimp and seared flash fried flounder with apricot glaze finishing with the best pecan pie ever. The flounder with the sweet glaze was perfect for my taste.
The outdoor seating overlooking the water can not be beat for the view of Charleston harbor and Fort Sumter. The restaurant is a restored WW2 navy building and pier that extends over the tidal area and is one of the few eating establishments on the water on the Charleston side of the harbor. A must for lunch or dinner while wandering the market area.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMgrand experienceBest bloody Mary and shrimp and grits

Everything else was fantastic!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMCouldn't have been happierWe were seated on time, entrees were delicious, service was just right. Hit happy hour a few minutes before our seating time. Good experience. This northern lady's first taste of shrimp and grits put a "oh, yum" smile on my face.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a late night dinnerWe had a late night dinner (unusual for us) and it was great! food was good, too bad it was dark and cold - no view available tonight - but the seafood dinners we all had were wonderful! We'll come again when we can see the view.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGood outside diningWe were greeted by very nice server as we entered restuarant. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgable. His recommendations were perfect and service was great; until he was distracted by 2 women at table. He spent more time flirting than taking care of other tables. Being outside was very romantic. Food was just a little warm instead of being hot when served. Nice meal and view and I recommend you trying it.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOur first time was very enjoyable,Our first time was very enjoyable, our waiter was very considerate and courteous.
