  • "We had a nice table outside. Our server was very good. A nice diverse menu. The wine list is fairly priced with a reasonable variety. The girls both had sea bass, simply preparred which the chef accommodated. It was delicious. My pork dish was over cooked. It took unusually long for our main course to arrive, but we were enjoying our time together, so it wasn't a deal breaker. Overall it was an enjoyable evening. We will give it another try."

  • "A welcome respite a couple of blocks south of congested 5th Ave. Good menu, good food, nice outdoor seating, pleasant service, ample free parking."

  • "This is a little hidden gem. When you walk in, it's so pretty and quaint- although it's a good size resturant. Food , service and atmosphere is excellent. Must try and see what you think. "

  • "We have had the pleasure of eating at Flava several times and each time are totally delighted. The food, ambience and service are top shelf. As an added bonus, parking is a "dream" with their own parking lot!"

  • "We had impeccable service. The food was a flavour sensation and nicely arranged. We wanted ALL the recipes. There were four of us and we all had something different. There were no complaints about anything. I will be back!"

  • "Was highly recommended but must admit food was mediocre and the service was marginal. Our friends almost walked out due to the rudeness of their waiter but he turned his attitude around after he overheard them Honestly at those prices, service should be beyond exemplary"

  • "Food is great. Menu has great choices-always flavorful. Service is impeccable. Peter, the owner is a perfect host."

  • "This three year old restaurant is just off the beaten path on 7th Avenue South, so if you don't get past the nightlife on 5th Avenue you'd never see it. But what a treat for going the extra two blocks! Lovely dining room, bar, and outdoor seating area (this last without the 5th Avenue crowd bumping your table). Genial host and attentive servers. Delightfully different mix of European dishes - German, Italian, French, Belgian influences - unlike anything else in Naples. If you want yet another red sauce Italian or seafood meal, you have plenty of choices in Naples. but for a refreshing change of pace, give Flava a try. We will certainly be back many times. Added bonus - they accept the RCC card, so 10% off!"

  • "If you're looking for something off the beaten path of 5th Avenue, Flava is a lovely choice. I would recommend eating on the patio. And ladies, no need to bring your pashmina. Flava provides a red shawl at every chair (plus heaters). Both the salmon and scallops were tasty and well prepared, and the side salad was bright and fresh. We passed on appetizers, but my husband and I shared the cheesecake for dessert. Our slice was a little large (even for 2 people), but otherwise, it was delicious! I had a glass of rosé, but if you're a wine buff, you won't be disappointed. The wine menu is extensive. Looking forward to going back in summer!"

  • "Great food choices and outstanding preparation. Sebastian, our waiter was courteous and attended to us in a most inconspicuous manner. Would highly recommend this establishment"

  • "Unique menu items, which were prepared and presented beautifully. Some items were too pricy for what they were, but food was very good, and service was outstanding."

  • "Four of us ate at Flava. We were intrigued by the statement that there would be a $4 charge for sharing an appetizer or salad or dessert and a $7 charge for sharing an entree. Did this apply if you shared the same plate or only if the course was presented on separate plates? We all enjoyed our meals. The beet and arugula salad was outstanding as was the cognac laced lobster bisque. The lobster pappadelle could have used a little more lobster. The scallops were very good. Complimentary cognac served with our coffee finished off a wonderful evening. We will go back and try some of the other intriguing dishes."

  • "This was our third time at Flava, and previously we were very pleased, but we were disappointed this time. The staff was overextended, so the service was slow. After a lengthy delay, the waiter promised the main entre "in 3 minutes" but it was closer to 20. I suspect part of the meal was ready and was left out under a heat lamp, because my wife's beef and my fish were tough and dried out. We did not send back our meals because it was late and we had quests with us. Naples has many outstanding restaurants, and Flava was becoming a favorite, but this may be out last visit. In a quality establishment, the staff should notice that the food was not up to standards."

  • "Very good! The food was fantastic and we were able to dine outside. We were surprised that we were able to get a last minute reservation for four and were suspect at first because of that. Noise level was such that we had no issue with our conversation or hearing others. Hit all the other spots on 5th Ave that week and this was as good as any. We will be back. Hidden gem."

  • "Our third visit and again the main courses were poorly prepared....Complainit to the owner was ignored...Too many fine restaurants in the area that one does not need to waste money on this beautiful eating place ."

  • "First time at this restaurant - on the recommendation of friends. We will definitely be going back! We both had veal dishes and they were both excellent. The Ceasar salad which we had explained we were going to share was split in the kitchen and served on two plates. By far the best presentation though was on the boned Dover sole at the table next to us. Could hardly take my eyes off it. Service was perfect. Great pleasant evening."

  • "We introduced visiting friends to Flava on their last night in Naples after they had visited the usual 5th Ave. and 3rd St. spots. This is a restaurant where the photos on the website actually resemble what you are served. The pace of the dinner allowed for time to savor our first-course before we were served our second-course. Background music is pleasant encouraging conversation. Compliments to the chef for a creative menu. Salads perfectly dressed, oversized martini glass of crab and shrimp, perfect wild mushroom flavors in ravioli. Quiet outdoor dining and private parking available. Great bar for dining as well. If you enjoy a fine dining experience, you will be pleased by superb service and European cuisine with a modern twist."

  • "This was our first visit and we really enjoyed it. 2 blocks off 5th Ave South, which is a hot shopping/dining area in Naples. It has its own parking lot, which is worth its weight in gold in Naples. The decor inside and out was attractive. Every chair had its own light blanket, for when the air conditioning is too cold inside (as so many are) or when you want to eat outside but it's just a tad too cool. What a thoughtful touch! Finally, the food was very good and not overpriced (although my husband felt the wine list was a bit high). Service was attentive. Overall we had a wonderful evening with our friends and will definitely return."

  • "We were first time visitors to Flava and were pleasantly surprised by everything. It's a very attractive, rather romantic atmosphere both inside and out. The food was delicious. I had the Maine Mussels and the Mushroom Ravioli. You can see pictures on their website. The portions are moderate which I actually appreciate. I'm tired of having to take home leftovers. The service was perfect. Thierry was our waiter. I had read that they had some good values on the wine list and we found this to be true. I have to mention that the desserts weren't up to the standards of the entrees but I'd rather not be tempted by dessert anyway! We already have plans to go back with friends and we're looking forward to it."

  • "We ate outside with a party of 5 and had a wonderful meal. Our group ordered steak, short ribs, ravioli, weiner schnitzel, and scallops. Despite the broad range of good ordered, everyone was very pleased with their meals. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

  • "No need to go. 4 of us at 5:15 on a Sunday evening for the first time. They jammed all guests into one end of the big room so cramped and noisy. We ask for a booth and were told all were reserved (6 were empty the whole time we were there) and told that the chairs were more comfortable - right- they were formed plywood - think of you grade school chairs. Then we asked for the early menu. Our waiter said he didn't know they had one (it's on the website). Took two times to send him back to the manager to get them. After the big speech on how the chef makes everything to order, the high expectations are set - and missed. Sauerbraten is very good, fresh, bright. Mushroom ravioli is barely room temp, soggy schnitzel, bland shrimp pasta."

  • "I chose the sea bass which was prepared and served beautifully, my husband chose the apple and fig stuffed pork loin, he liked it but thought the gravy was a little heavy. The service was gracious and attentive and they honored our request to be seated outside."

  • "Although we live Italian, seafood, and Japanese food, we needed a change. This delicious European restaurant fit the bill perfectly. Two of us had duck, two had chicken, two of use had sea bass and and all were served with spaetzel. Salads were crisp and fresh. My cappuccino was a little weak, but the desserts were outstanding. Would definitely return."

  • "We enjoyed dinner for five people at FLAVA. We were celebrating closing on a home purchase and wanted a restaurant with a diverse menu while not too expensive. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were each satisfied with the meals we ordered. The drinks were reasonably priced. The atmosphere was good and sound level enabled easy table conversation. We were not rushed and the staff made us feel welcomed. Overall a very pleasant dining experience and I have already recommended FLAVA to several friends. I recommend you try it too."

  • "THIS CHIC OFF 5TH AVE EATERIE WAS A LOVELY QUIET SPOT BUT I FOUND THE FOOD AVERAGE AT BEST- MY SALAD CAME OVERLY DRESSED AND THE STRONG VINEGAR AFTERTASTE WAS REALLY A PROBLEM. mY VERY EXPENSIVE SEABASS WAS TASTY- BUT MY HUSBAND FOUND HIS DISH QUITE ORDINARY AND NOT REALLY HOT. wORSE OF ALL THE HOUSE WHITE WINE WAS REALLY AWFUL- AT $8 A GLASS- WOULD NEVER ORDER THAT AGAIN."

  • "We live in Houston but my Dad lives in Naples. We first went to Flava because it was convenient to our hotel but we enjoyed the food and the scene so much - we make sure to go each time we visit. The food is phenomenal (particularly the beef carpaccio, beet salad, and mushroom ravioli) and we love the room - elegant and quiet enough for good conversation. Definitely a place to check-out the next time you're in Naples."

  • "Full of flavor, choices and refinement. Ambience is romantic, full of colorful local art (available). We did not go to the bar but could see it was busy and chatty. The food and service were very well done and presented well. Food choices centered around the borders of Switzerland, a refreshing change. Would recommend to adults or older children. Looking forward to returning next year!"

  • "This was our first visit to Flava and we were pleasantly surprised! The food, service, and ambience were beyond our expectation. We have already told many friends in Naples this place is a delight! We will definitely be returning! The owners have created a gem in Naples. I don't why we waited so long to try Flava."
