Valentine's day was disappointing. Seated by a loud table of 6 people. Lighting so low you can't see menu or food. Go only if you like meat dishes. Server was efficient. Nothing special.

Pleasant staff. Our server was very familiar with the menu and wine list items thus very helpful. Great citrus salad, flat iron steak, pork chop. (Some yelp reviewers were disappointed with paella. Our server explained that it was good, but non-traditional so we opted for other choices.) Located in Gilman village. Easy parking. Large deck for outdoor dining. Interesting metalwork/painting on back wall of trees. Highly recommended.

We had a party of 4 and we ordered 2 appitizers. I odered the Flat Iron Strak and it was cook right but was very tuff. I sampled my girlfriends New York with mushrooms and it was very tasty. We had to wait for an hour for our food and the waitress wasn't very good. So I wasn't too happy with the place, but it also may just have been a fluke.

Everyone's food at Flat Iron Grill was very good. Good flavors, nice presentation. Other than that, it was not an inspiring experience. The restaurant was cold and the tables were metal, so it not comfortable. (The hostess had her own space heater, so it's apparently always this way.) The service was minimal. The waitress did not take a drink order. I asked for a Coke when I gave my entrée order, and then she asked my daughter, "Oh, did you want a drink, too?" She did not ask if we wanted salads to accompany our dinner. Bread was brought to the table about 5 minutes after our order was taken. We weren't forgotten after our entrees. I was prepared to be disappointed until entrees came, and they were very good.

We took advantage of the Happy Hour offerings and spent our evening in the bar area. Our service was as good as I would expect at a regular table. The wines and happy hour menu items were delicious, albeit a bit limited but that's to be expected. Would be glad to visit again.

We have been here several times and plan to keep returning. We have always had a great experience. Can be a romantic place, but we hae also brought our little girl as well. They cater to both. We have always had fabulous service along with outstanding food.
