"As would be expected of the Four Seasons, this is one of the best restaurants you could imagine. We had the bass, which was fantastic.

If you order dessert, get the cheesecake lollipops. It sounds weird but is outstanding. You get three huge pieces of cheesecake on a stick, dipped in different types of chocolate, with three different dipping sauces. Enough for two people.

Extremely expensive though."

"Lovely dinner with my family. The food was good and had some interesting items. Boar lasagna was great. Service was great as it was a slow night so lots of attention given to our group. Prices are cheap compared to valley but still expect to spend some extra here."

"It took 15 min to be acknowledged after being seated,Server Sarah was unfriendly,made us fill unimportant.took half orders from a party of 4,and took to long to return to table. The food was good,the atmosphere warm.I will not return to this establishment."

"This new to Vail restaurant is wonderful! It feels like you are dining in a beautiful mansion dining room. Very elegant yet mountain feel. The service was wonderful & the food was even better. Wine was reasonably priced."

"What a disappointment for a Four Seasons restaurant. The meat was suppose to be prime -- if that was prime they should change suppliers because they're being taken to the cleaners. And to pay $43 for a New York strip that was too tough to eat is a crime. The service and staff were disappointing. Finally, the wine list was very sparse, especially for such a restaurant. Recommendation -- save your money, there are many better restaurants in Vail."

"We had to wait forever to get our appetizers and then again to get our food (1hour before appetizers came out). The service was extremely slow which was a bit disappointing. The food was hit and miss, some apetizers were amazing while others were not good at all and the same for the entres. Overall an okish meal but won't be coming back and would not recommend."

"Flame was touted to be best in class relative to other steak places across the West, and especially in Vail, CO, and it did not disappoint in this way. That said, I would recommend that diners who eat at this establishment limit their choices to the steak-related menu items, e.g. the various meat and side orders that one would expect to find in a steak house. Other items such as appetizers would disappoint---the bison potstickers, at $3.40 each for five ($17) were small and dry, the wild mushroom soup ($10) was overly salted (even by my high-salt threshold) and the pork belly over papardelle noodles were watery and bland. One expects more consistency and high quality at a place that puts a premium on the entire dining experience."
