It was phenomenal! The whole experience was nothing short of fantastic with amazing food, energetic wait staff, and a wonderful owner. My girlfriend and I had the opportunity to speak to the owner for some time after the midnight champagne toss and he has his heart in it for the right reasons.
Bottom line: Excellent food, excellent people, and I will definitely go back whenever I am in Miami.12/31/2012 12:00:00 AMGreat service, lovely experienceWhen I read that Flame was a great place to dine & people watch, I didn't assume that meant to watch TOURISTS. I expected to go watch the hot South Beach night life crowd- not the case. Lots of foreigners, tourists, & kids. That said, we truly enjoyed our evening at Flame. Our server Sebas was fantastic- funny & friendly & very knowlegable about the menu/wine list. There was a nice pace to the meal; it wasn't rushed. We ordered an appetizer that we did not like; our server removed it from the bill. The salmon w/ truffled risotto was tasty. The skirt steak flavorful & cooked perfectly.
