A word from Flagler Steakhouse
A refreshingly, modern spin on the classic social club, this transformed restaurant has re-imagined the traditional steakhouse experience and given Palm Beach’s iconic, clubby legacy an irresistible new spirit. The stunning makeover by famed designer Adam D. Tihany (HMF, Per Se, Le Cirque 2000) evokes gorgeous, old-school luxury. But the expanded menu makes this restaurant much more than a destination for flawlessly prepared steaks — Palm Beach visitors and locals alike will also enjoy the array of mouthwatering alternatives (fish, Italian favorites, broiler items and savory sides), serious cocktails and an extraordinary list of Master Sommelier-selected wines. Al fresco seating on the climate-controlled terrace invites guests to enjoy ocean breezes and the panorama of The Breakers’ Ocean Course. Food, drink, irresistible music, chicly dressed staff, and stylish interior design all come together to satiate the senses. Flagler Steakhouse welcomes you to the consummate clubhouse. Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "We had a terrific experience dining at Flagler. The sides are AMAZING!!! I wish they'd open up one in NYC. "

  • "Out of all the steakhouses I've been to, this has the best outdoor dining, by far! The seafood is excellent as well."

  • "Maybe it's the country club aura, but this steak house whispers top notch service and delicious steaks, without the hustle and bustle some steak houses have. The fact that my husband and I can share a meal of steak and potatoes with our children without the "kids menu" norm of chicken tenders etc., really impressed us. Petit Filet for our kids was just fantastic as were our salads and steak. You can't beat the chocolate cake either! "

  • "After a decent meal with horrendous service the prior night we hit the jackpot, as usual, at Flagler Steakhouse. Our server, Drew, was phenomenal. The food service was great...just the right amount of time to sit over drinks. The food was delicious as always. Always a great meal......"

  • "Everything about the restaurant was fabulous. It was one of the best Steak meals I've had in a very long time. I would recommend it to all my friends. Can't wait to go back again for another delicious meal. T"

  • "It was a bit cold inside. We were better outside. Though the table for two is way to small My husband could not fit legs under table I tripped over the table cloth because it was close to floor. The mushrooms we sent back because the were to salty. The meats were outstanding We will probably eat there again but at a bigger table Thank you Robert Kowitski "

  • "We got some friends coming by for an unexpected Sunday lunch visit, and didn't know where to take them. We had passed by Flagler Steakhouse many times, but never stopped by. This was an opportunity to do so, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. They had a huge variety to choose from, including a gluten free menu and a vegan menu. The service was very good, and the noise level was perfect for keeping a conversation around the table. The only thing we regret, was not stopping by long ago."

  • "For the second time in four visits....the service was at best....spotty We have a very difficult time understanding this lack of attention from Management on/for this critical component"

  • "We loved our experience dining on the porch (called a terrace, but it's a porch) overlooking The Breakers golf course ... so lovely. The porch is completely open, but protected from rain and climate controlled. Even on this warm, pretty humid, evening it was so comfortable. The food was delicious and we celebrated with the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. They added a white chocolate decorated "Congratulations" for our anniversary. Walking back through the restaurant, we realized we would never choose to dine inside. It was too dark; people needed flashlights to see menus and we don't like dining in darkness. It was crowded and the ambiance of dining in such a beautiful setting would have been lost for us. Overall perfect."

  • "If you have a high credit limit and want to impress someone, this is the place! Expensive, but noting could have been improved!"

  • "I've eaten here before and always liked it. This time we were placed next to a table of 9 men. They started out quietly, but halfway into their meal, after a few drinks, they were having a grand time, but we were not! I suggest parties over 6 should be in a separate spot in the dining room. Some of the food (appetizers & salads) were inspired, but the T-bone-in filet steak, which was recommended, was extremely tender, but also extremely dry. -- no juice in it at all. I would not order that again. So-so experience - not sure we'll go back. We can do better for the price. The only thing outstanding was our waiter --really great!"

  • "My friend and I selected a table on the porch. The breeze was delightful and the sunset light exquisite. Our steaks were perfect and we enjoyed talking with our delightful waiter."

  • "Excellent location on Breakers golf course, food very good (it you are a meat eater) and service good but not intrusive. A bit pricey. Very good wine list. All in all worth the money...."

  • "We had just arrived at the Breakers for a week of relaxation and golf and wanted to have a nice dinner to start things off right. We knew, from prior visits, that the Flagler Steakhouse was the perfect place for that beginning!"
    Dined on 3/23/2014
  • "Appetizers were very small (stone claws & oysters). Salads were excellent. Entrees were excellent. Desserts were excellent (also very substantial)."

  • "We were a party of 4 celebrating an 80th birthday. The staff was told ahead of time about the occasion and went out of their way to acknowledge the birthday. The food is not extraordinary but it is what you expect from a first class steak house. The tables on the veranda are special."

  • "First time there altho we've lived nearby for 5 years. Happy to know about it and wll go back."

  • "This steakhouse sits high above the beautiful Breakers Ocean Golf Course. Dining outdoors on the lively terrace is a treat. However when that is not possible the newly renovated inside is lovely as well. The food is very good although unnecessarily pricey . The rack of lamb was excellent but a third chop would have been in order at a price over $50 .00. The service can be spotty, but well intended."

  • "Outstanding on every way! Wait staff, bartender were wonderful! Some of the best food we've eaten!"

  • "We stayed at the Breakers and did not want to go far to eat. Flagler was in the Golf Club on the property and what a treat it was. The decor was beautiful as were the Stunning Western paintings throughout the restaurant. The food was delicious and we did not feel rushed to eat and leave. Flagler will definitely be a place to eat at again next time in Palm Beach. Our server was so attentive, constantly checking up on us. Then our desert came out and it had a white chocolate card wishing us a Happy Anniversary! It was so sweet!"

  • "This is definitely a special occasion restuarant as our bill for 2 with tax and tip came to $225.00. The cocktails, wine, appetizers and entree were excellent as you would expect here. If we were more affulent we would definitely dine here on a regular basis. As we were celebrating my 76 birthday we blew the budget this one time. In spite of the high prices, the restuarant was totally full even though our reservation was for 6 PM. This is definitely a place where you need a reservation. Very enjoyable. Don Trappler"

  • "Ordered the special of the St, Patrick's Day evening: corned beef and cabbage ... but found it to be inedible. Left the plate mostly untouched and advised the waiter of our disappointment. He, in turn. mentioned our reaction to the manager ... who, thankfully, deleted that item from out dinner bill."

  • "FIRST OFF I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THE RESTAURANT WAS AT THE HOTEL. IT IS NOT. IT IS ACROSS THE STREET IN A CLUBHOUSE. THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE, HOWEVER. THE FOOD WAS AWFUL AND GROSSLY OVERPRICED. THE VEAL CHOPS WERE DRY AS WAS THE BURGER. ALMOST $350 FOR A PARTY OF FOUR WITH ONLY 2 DRINKS IN TOTAL, WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. WE USED TO DINE AT THE BREAKERS IN THE HOTEL. NOW EVERYTHING IS CASUAL, OVERPRICED, PLAIN AND NOT WORTH THE EFFORT. A TRUE DISAPPOINTMENT."

  • "We enjoyed dining out here very much, the food was delicious and the staff very nice and helpful. We were shocked when we noticed the shoes the staff was wearing and we believe it distracts the guests from otherwise very beautiful interior."

  • "Beautiful evening on the patio…romantic…exquisite food and service. Steve the bartender is outstanding. Our waiter Dave is the best. Friendliest atmosphere of any restaurant anywhere. Jim and Pam Fregia"

  • "High pressure service. It was explained that staff are given specific minutes for each task e.g. 3 minutes to meet and greet, 3 minutes to discuss the menu etc. The waiter was looking over his shoulder nervously as our conversation went seconds beyond the set time. Staff seemed like automatons trying to clear the restaurant as quickly as possible. Needless to say the food arrived by express delivery looking somewhat out of breath itself. In the end they had the customers eating faster and faster. On leaving, the elderly were trying to move their uncooperative walking sticks and Zimmer frames at the pace of a foxtrot rather than their customary slow waltz as they staggered out mopping their brows. Quite exhausting."

  • "Dining at Flagler's is a great experience. The food and service are excellent, the environment beautiful, what more could you ask? Maybe the prices could be a little lower."

  • "Used to be one of my favorite spots pre-renovation. Now simply a disappointment. I am happy to pay for good food and service--they are offering neither. I suspect new management. In every measurable way the place has fallen off."
    Dined on 3/2/2014
  • "Experience was as expected for a breakers property. Food was very good, the blackened ribeye was excellent, just the right amount of seasoning, the flavor of the steak was not overrun by that spice. My wife had the aged ribeye, overall it was good, except that they missed the mark on the cooking temp. Dining room has a vibrant atmosphere and fresh off a renovation this past summer. Expect to spend to spend about $150 per person with a couple glasses of wine appetizers and a shared dessert."
