Our reservation was for 2 pm and nowhere in the nyc restaurant week site did it say that. I think the staff knew that and did not even post a menu outside so it was like you were trapped. And then as soon as you sit, the waiter rushes you to order, without giving you a chance look at the menu. So our 25 dollar meal turned to 70! Thanks!

It was bland and did not complement the bird. My entrée was was beef short ribs. It was good, but not extraordinary. I also want to mention the somewhat '80s-looking food presentation. The plate that my wife's salad was served on looked like a hat Grace Jones would have worn to the opening of Road Warrior 3. Our real complaint was the service. It was VERY slow and not nearly as attentive as I expect from the Penninsala.
