"The food was very good, NY restaurant week price fixe menu offered great options. Howeever, very expensive wine, wine the wine by the glass was almsot as pricy as dinner! Attentiveness of sevice was a bit disappointing. Not sure I would go back, especially for regular menu pricing."

"I know the 5-star Peninsula Hotel as the finest in Hong Kong from my travels there. Service was flawed in that the captain did not correctly inform me that "beef cheeks" are from the face - not the hindquarters. TI now know that they're very tough and must be simmered for hours. It was so tough - as if I was eating rehydrated beef jerky - and zero taste. Clearly the kitchen was clueless, as well. Worst of all, this was 1 of 3 featured dishes in a month-long prix-fixe special $35 p.p. menu and should have been a showstopper BY THIS, THE LAST DAY OF THE EVENT. (The bill w/tip but no booze was over $200 for 3 people.) I'm sure I'm not the only one who will NEVER BE BACK (no one who ordered the beef checks should be expected back either.)"

"The restaurant staff are friendly a bit too visible at times. Appeared clumsy in terms of number of staff, they did not always look busy. In terms if food our starters were fine. I had steak for main course; however the peppercorn sauce was not prepared to a high standard the oil was floating on top. The deserts were not elegant and had a look and taste of having been pre-prepared."
