Five Star International BuffetGood for LunchAt $19 it's definitely worth it to eat here for lunch than pay $49 for dinner. The selections were many and they all tasted good.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMI enjoyed this place for theI enjoyed this place for the first time and would come back to try out dinner buffet.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMVariety n food presentationThe selections must change up daily, bcuz according to the menu in the website the choices we had was not all inclusive, but for foodies, it was pretty good. The crab is hard to get too, even with the crab utensil.
I had brought my friend for her bday last year and the food variety seemed better. The crab cakes were hard, n so was the chicken katsu. The scallops were delicious.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesomeThe quality is amazing and the service was awesome. Terrible location though, hidden behind wolf gang steak house5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMSatisfiedWe were a bit skeptical about going to the Five Star International Buffet after reading some of the customers' reviews. However, my friend and I found it to be quite satisfactory. The food was tasty, and the staff was friendly. Only drawback was that the portions on the buffet are small, so sometimes dishes ran out. In that case, we had to wait for the dishes to be replenished. For the price, you can't go wrong!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat time with only one complaintThe food was excellent and our server was great. They only complaint is there was a creepy cook staring at the females as we would get our food. I felt very uncomfortable with him watching me as he grinned.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMSurpriseWe were pleasantly surprise by the large variety of items on the buffet menu. The two fish dishes were excellent and so were the desserts. A nice mix of international dishes and local foods. We will be back.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesomeThe place was amazing. The food was beautiful and deliscous. I wood recommended and come back. Lobster and crab was GREAT! A little Pricey but for the seafood Ok.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMNice selectionsNeed to come hungry and have a big appetite. Hard to eat $50 worth maybe $35-$40 would be ok. For $50 I'd rather spend it for a nice dinner, but was nice.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMDuring a 4 weeks stay in Waikiki,During a 4 weeks stay in Waikiki, we dined here 4-5 times. Great food, hope they do not change a thing, we will be back next year !!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was quite good, thoughFood was quite good, though at times the food (tempura and pasta) ran out and we had to wait for refills. Also, the desert was fairly sparce for lunch. Would have loved to have the bread pudding which I hear is only offered at dinnertime.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMAs always...a fantastic place. As always...a fantastic place. The variety of dishes on the buffet line was so wide, you have to go back a second or third time. Dishes were fine dining gourmet quality--can't believe they can put them on a buffet line. Would definitely go back again & again. Hats off to the well-dresses staff.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waiter was better thanOur waiter was better than outstanding. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could. He was always there to help seat us as we returned from the buffet line, refilled our drinks without being asked, took away used plates almost instantly, etc. We all marveled at the service we received.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe king crab and the cremeThe king crab and the creme brulee were excellent and the buffet selections were visually appealing and outstanding. They could improve on their cakes, a bit too dry.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
