Five Sixty by Wolfgang PuckBirthday DinnerGreat place for special occasions. The drinks are rather pricy but over all, great place and excellent servers.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AM30th birthday celebrationWe went on a Tuesday night to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday. We had an amazing time. I would highly recommended the calamari.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMFit the sceneFive Sixty by Wolfgang Puck is a restaurant overlooking the city of Dallas. As you enjoy an Asian style menu, you can enjoy the scenic views of Dallas.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDinning with the lightsWe enjoyed the rotating view and all the lights displayed by the buildings.
Our children had great time and the food was excellent.
My wife and I really enjoy the drinks as we all celebrated the Mothers Day weekend
The service was wonderful5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMOn Top of the World!I now understand why there is a long waiting list to dine at Five Sixty by Wolfgang Pucks. When you are able to combine exquisite cuisine with an outstanding view topped off with an excellent staff, people will want to come! If you know that you will be in the downtown Dallas area and wish to have a memorable dining experience, then I suggest you book your reservation at least a month ahead of time for a weekend dinner. We were there to celebrate my birthday and splurged on the 7-course dining experience. I have never spent that much on a meal but I will say that it was totally worth it. Each course was brought out and explained by well trained staff, the meals were not only picture perfect but very palatable as well! Highly Recommend!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMReunion towerBasically good food but paying for the view....not bad!!5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMMagical expereienceThe restaurant was great, food was awesome. We could not have asked for better service, we enjoyed celebrating our aniversary here. The extra added touch of wishing us a happy aniversary with chocolate was fun. Thank you for a pleasurable, and memorable experience.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMI loved it!The service was excellent since the valet parking guy and the other 4 people, all were great. The food, awesome, really. Of course the outstanding view, very romantic, try at 7,, so you can have the sunset and the amazing lights of Dallas when the night falls down.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect for a Romantic Date NightThe atmosphere at Five Sixty can't be beat and there is not a bad seat in the house as each table has a fantastic view. The menu is pretty unique and provides options not found at other restaurants. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant in general. The food was fantastic, though "Asian fusion" is something we are only likely to enjoy sporadically. Make your reservations for after sunset. We made a reservation the day before so there was only early availability and the restaurant feels much more romantic when the sun is down and the city lights are on.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMNoisyWould have been all five stars, however it is quite noisy.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfectIf your visiting Dallas you must visit Five Sixty. Super5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food & View-Bravo Wolfgang! Was visiting Dallas for work reasons, staying at Hyatt which is connected to this restaurant. It was a wonderful experience to have dinner here. The food is a fusion of Asian and American...with maybe a touch of Texas thrown in. The quality of ingredients, presentation, and service is worth going put of your way to experience. If you are staying at the Hyatt, you must try this restaurant. It is not inexpensive, but it is a wonderful value for the view, the ambiance, the flavor combinations. It's not touristy ...although its a perfect way to get a feel for Dallas quickly. Highly recommend. Bravo Wolfgang, again!5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect location for specialPerfect location for special occassion. I strongly recommend this restaurant.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMnever will forgetwe came here for our 12 yr anniversary. we will never forget it! we don't have a lot of money and I, myself have never spent that much on food. but I understand. the food was AWESOME! so was service. I would pay that much for the experience again. but I do not understand why drinks were so much. they were outrageously priced! the fact that most single drinks are more expensive than a plate of food, it leaves me to ask th question, "where is the chefs confidence?".5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMFun food with a viewExcellent but selective menu. Fantastic view of the city and surrounding area. Young and trendy clientel. Definitely an"keeper"!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMlove it!The atmosphere, view, and service were great. The drinks, appetizers and entrees were phenomenal, but the desserts were surprisingly mediocre and even disappointing (do NOT get the white chocolate pot de creme, trust me).5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAn amazing night celebratingAn amazing night celebrating my husband's birthday. Food and drinks were excellent. View was spectacular. Only complaint was the noise level. Much louder than we anticipated - took a little away the "romance" aspect.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was ok but have had muchFood was ok but have had much better.
Really liked the view4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat TimesYou can't beat the view of downtown and you can't beat the world-class Asian inspired cuisine of the Five-Sixty. I have been twice now and have not been disappointed. The staff know their stuff and the food is worth every penny.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMexperienceBoth my wife and I had a blast the food was great and the service was excellent really enjoy it..4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service was Exceptional. The service was Exceptional. Our waiter was phenomenal. Now lets get to the food. In my opinion the food is a tad overpriced for the taste and quality. It seems that all the food has a very strong Asian influence and I'm simply not into that. If you are willing to pay over $250 for 2 people to eat "Fair" tasting food then this place might be for you. The portion sizes are also extremely small for the price. I have to say that what I enjoyed the most was the view even though I got extremely dizzy at first when we were first escorted to our table. Our waiter was extremely helpful by suggesting I switch seats with my husband who was sitting facing forward instead of facing backwards as the dinning room turns. Hope you all enjoy your experience4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMHaving not been to an expensiveHaving not been to an expensive restaurant before, I was expecting to go away hungry. I did not. The food was exceptional, so many different flavors in each dish. We all tasted each others meal and enjoyed it all. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMI had Brunch on a Saturday.I had Brunch on a Saturday. Their food and cocktails were excellant. I highly recommend.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWe so enjoyed our eveningWe so enjoyed our evening - this was a special treat for us from a small town. We truly appreciated the complimentary green bean appetizer. The staff was fabulous and so was the food. The presentation of everything was spectacular!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat food and outstandinggreat food and outstanding views of Dallas but it took and hour and 20 minutes to get our food. I feel this was too long to wait4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMI personally think one ofI personally think one of the most outstanding and refreshing things to say about the restaurant was the folks st 560N! We were taking our 85 yr old father who had always wanted to visit the tower and from the moment you arrive to the end of your meal, you are transported away, which makes your dining experience all the more enjoyable! I'm sure you here all about the food, which was fantastic and great, but what made the evening outstanding was the crew at 560N! Bravo on a superb dining experience folks!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFive Sixty RotationFood was good, especially the crabcake appetizer.
Service was very good, although our waiter seem to be upset at something during the late part of our dinner. Maybe he had a bad table somewhere else, alhtough his assistant was excellent; on cue with drinks and clearing out the table.
Ambiance was most outstanding; the restaurant is section off and it gives both privacy and openess. Of course, the view is the key to it all. We got a special treat in the process, Marine 1 and the Presidential entourage flew by while having dinner.
Noise is moderate, we where seated near the outside bar (the one that rotates with ther rest of the restaurant), but nothing that disturbed our conversation.
Pricey, but you are payting for the view.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was very good - a differentFood was very good - a different menu that not everyone may enjoy. Dinner is very pricey, but we expected this. Our seating was at 7:00 and we had views of Dallas in the light and also the lite up Dallas skyline. Our table had two waiters that tended to every need. I had thought that the restaurant was going to be a bit fancier that it was.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMFriendly, knowledgeable, andFriendly, knowledgeable, and conscientious staff. Food was cooked to perfection. A very relaxing and satisfying evening.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent service, deliciousExcellent service, delicious food. Made for a memorable night.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went to 560 after gettingWe went to 560 after getting engaged. It was a great place to celebrate!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was very well done. The food was very well done. The chef took care of us by bringing us extra appetizer when ours had to be redone. Very nice service too. My wife and I had an enjoyable evening. We will definitely return.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFavorite place in DallasIt was amazing!!! Definately our new stop in Dallas:-)4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolutely Awesome!Stunning view, exceptional service and wonderful food! Our experience was better than 5 star... We were visiting Dallas from out of state and it was memorable, but we'll be talking about our dining experience for years to come as the highlight of our trip.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWow, just wow.You start with the amazing view from Reunion Tower, 561 feet above downtown Dallas. As your table slowly rotates 360 degrees, you look out over downtown's amazing architecture, the vast views of north Texas, and, if you time it right, an amazing sunset.
The staff is courteous and attentive. Downright friendly, without being obtrusive.
The food was beyond my expectations...and my expectations were pretty high. After all, it's Wolfgang Puck's restaurant. From the amazing chicken and the outstanding dumplings, to the incredible beef filet, everything was tasteful, tender, and spiced just right. I'm normally a picky eater, but nothing on the table went uneaten!
Wow, just wow.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat view exceptional serviceMy daughter and I ate here prior to a play we attended. The food was very good. The service(our primary server was Jacob) was exceptional. Unobtrusive very attentive. The view is the best in Dallas. I noted the wine list as exceptional and m/l reasonable a bottle of the great 2009 Cristom Pinot $69. I wouldcome here for any festive occasion.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat view, expensive for valueWife and I enjoyed a beautiful view of Dallas in the rotating restaurant. Wonderful first impression with the wine display in the entry. Be prepared to spend over $100 per person to have two cocktails, appetizer and meal without desert. The wonderful wood floor of the facility is not what I remembered from years ago as it is in need of refurbishment and waxing. The seating is very poor with low back white swivel chairs that were off balance, noisy and uncomfortable to sit on for longer than ten minutes. The service was attentive and active in making sure we felt welcome. If your in town for a special occasion, this is a must for a once in your lifetime of dining experience but not as a regular dining location.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had an issue with the steaksWe had an issue with the steaks being over cooked.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMFood is great, but way overpricedFood is great, but way overpriced for the portions offered. It took two appetizers, an entree, and dessert to feel full.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMBest place everI have to say they have the best service in Dallas this was my birthday present and I loved it can't wait to come again thanks.4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMDined with a colleague andDined with a colleague and had the spice tuna in miso cones, spicy tuna and rainbow roll, and the calamari - all superior. The lacquered duck was ok, but not as stellar as the other items we had. Service was beyond superior. The views of Dallas were unparrelleled. HIghly recommend!4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was perfect, exceptEverything was perfect, except I ordered the halibut. It was maybe 5 oz and served over watercress, which was good. The problem was the lackluster rice. It was so bad I wouldn't eat it.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AM360 in an hour at 560Great food and drinks along with the service. Do try their sushi and grill options. Overall, a nice venue for that special celebration. The seats were low, saggy and uncomfortable.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice ambiance and romantic.Very nice ambiance and romantic. Perfect for a date night for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary. The special dish was good but I must not have understood how it was described very well since I thought some things from the dish were missing. All in all it was a great dining experience.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food, great atmosphere.Excellent food, great atmosphere. Service was a little slow but the food made up for it.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall we had a great experienceOverall we had a great experience there. The view of downtown was absolutely incredible. The only thing I was confused about was my linen napkins. Everyone around us had black linen napkins but our waiter switched ours from black to white. I didn't see the purpose of that.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMDivineThe only drawback are the bench-couch seats which feel too short for the table. Everything else is exceptional, fantastic, amazing.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMfirst timerswent there for the first time and we were helped through all the way and made to feel very at ease
amazing 360 view, great staff and amazing food. i ordered the 56$ steak and i swore i was eating a part of a unicorn. AMAZING
cant wait till the next time4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the Best Meals of my LifeWe treated our two teenaged daughters to an evening on the town. They loved the restaurant, the view, the cookbook we purchased and the chance to experience a top-rate dinner. The staff was exceptional, as were the menu choices. We sampled from the appetizers, the entrees and the dessert menu, sharing everything. The evening was terrific.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGood managermanager so professional I love the way he Handel the business when they did not have an item from the menu Nik dixit.
