Five Sails RestaurantFantastic diningWe chose to go here for my daughter's grade 12 Grad dinner and Our dining experience was better than we ever expected. The service was fantastic and our waitress was so helpful with helping us decide what we may like off the menu as well everyone there were so friendly. The staff went over and beyond to make this grad dinner one we will all remember, even bring my daughter as special dessert with congratulations written on chocolate and placed on a special dessert with a candle to help celebrate her special day. This is one place that we will be going back many times to come.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWONDERFUL MEMORIESMy wife and I went back for a special occasion and what a wonderful time. Window seat overlooking the cruise ships and Burrard Inlet - who could not give anything but 5 stars for that view. Food of the highest quality, cooked perfectly and the presentation - I just don't know how they do that...... Very reasonably priced - without liquor about $50 per person with appetizer - but of course, I could not pass up the wine list and the dessert soufflé and cheese plate - my goodness!!!!!
Thanks for an over the top meal, where we were able to sit to eat and talk for more than 3 hours - never rushed.
/5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMWatch the world go by...Another exceptional experience at Five Sails. This was my 2nd time at the restaurant, and I invited some long-lost friends to join me for an evening. The highlight, surprisingly, was a perfectly tempura'd prawn – simply delightful.
Bon Appetite!5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMA truly outstanding venueA truly outstanding venue for our special occasion, with excellent food and wine complemented with stunning views of the Harbour5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst rate diningGreat location that could be marred if a cruise ship is docked. We were fortunate in that a ship just pulled out of the dock as we were walking to the restaurant. Otherwise, the spectacular view of the water would have been blocked. Prix fixe dinner was great, service top notch. Would definitely go there again. Quiet restaurant, although it was relatively empty the night we dined. Definitely get a table by the window: watch the seaplanes land and take off.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMvery goodvery good! great view and service. the soufflé was awesome!!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AM22nd Anniversary dinnerWe reserved a table at the Five Sails for our 22nd Anniversary dinner. When we arrived the staff greeted us with "happy anniversary" and seated us at the best seat in the house over looking the harbour. From the moment we arrived the service was timely, subtle and what you would expect at a 5 star restaurant. The ambiance was romantic and quiet with a spectacular view. We ordered the Chef's tasting menu and the accompanying wine flight. Of all the appetizers, the caramelized weathervane scallop with mousseline of caper emulsion was the course that set the whole meal off: the best scallop I have ever had. Favorite wine was the Robert Mondavi Cab Sauv that went well with the Alberta beef filet. Overall a very satisfying experience.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding Vancouver RestaurantA beautiful restaurant with an incredible view. Five Sails was all we could ask for during a recent visit to Vancouver. Elegant, wonderful service, terrific wine list - all that made for a perfect birthday evening for my wife. A meal at the Five Sails should be a must on any visit to Vancouver.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAn evening at the Five SailsExcellent setting, service and well prepared meals.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMEach time we visit Vancouver,Each time we visit Vancouver, we make it a point to eat at a restuarant with a view.
Five Sails did not disappoint. Excellent meal and excellent service. We will be back.2/4/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistently excellentI have been to this restaurant several times throughout the years and the food is consistently outstanding. I have never ordered anything from the menu that wasn't good. I actually had my wedding reception at Five Sails and most of our guests said it was the best meal they had ever had at a restaurant and still talk about the meal almost five years later!10/2/2012 12:00:00 AM
