A word from Five Points
NOHO's Mediterranean-American where a "stream runs through the middle". It's "feng shui all the way" at this "sexy" "serene" find. Sumptuous fare is served with class. "It goes the extra mile to accommodate you."

Diner Reviews
  • "Had been to Five Points for brunch several times and decided to give it a shot for dinner, hoping the food and service would rival Five Points' sister Cookshop. Everything was just okay, not great. Cocktails are better at Saxon & Parole around the corner. Worth the trip for brunch, but for dinner, head west to Cookshop."

  • "Used to be great - no longer so. Reduced menu, small portions, louder music. I used to go fairly often but will not anymore, feels like it's ready to close."

  • "I've eaten at Five Points many times and I am always delighted! The menu is interesting and the Monday night Lobster/Clam Bake is a joy!"

  • "I would have given the service 5 stars bc our waitress was great, but the bar tenders were awful. We were 20 min early and could not get a drink even though the bar was fairly empty. They did not even look our way."

  • "no other brunch compares to five points. brunch must haves: lemon ricotta pancakes...melt in my mouth oven roasted eggs...i can eat this everyday for breakfast oh soo crispy flavorful fries BEST PITCHER OF SANGRIA known to man.... you'll thank me...."

  • "A disappointment. The restaurant used to have a lovely atmosphere but the ambiance is now plain (nothing visually pleasing) and noisy (nothing to absorb the sound). The food is equally unimaginative and the service was spare. This was a special occasion, so it was a let-down in the end."

  • "Five Points is highly reliable for consistently good food and very good service. The wait staff is knowledgeable, efficient and available."

  • "The griddled cheese was the best sandwich I have ever had!"
    Dined on 3/17/2014
  • "Food too salty and overpriced. Really nothing special that justifies a $18 burger or a $25 meal."

  • "This was my second visit, and it was just as good as the first. The menu is on the smaller side, but everything is incredibly well made and you know you are getting food that is in season and from reputable growers and farmers. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive but not pesky."

  • "Food was definitely good. It arrived within minutes it seemed! There were many options on the brunch menu I wanted to try so I may have to go back and test them all. I got the pork hash and cleared my plate. My friend got the grilled cheese and it was delicious as well- especially the addition of the apples to the sandwich. We saved room for the churros...which was a huge reason why I wanted to come check this place out. They looked, tasted and smelled amazing!! Completely worth the calories. And of course, what brunch isn't complete without a bloody mary (or two). Great selection to choose from, wish I had the stomach to taste them all! Next time..."

  • "As always, a very enjoyable meal. Food and service are very good."

  • "We were impressed by the friendly, attentive service, the attractive decor, the tempting lunch menu and then, of course, the quality of the food. We have now visited all three of the restaurants of this group and they are all well run with excellent food. They all use good ingredients well. We had lunch on a fairly quiet weekday. The restaurant was not too busy. Unfortunately, the music was too loud and marred the atmosphere. Otherwise, we enjoyed it throughly."

  • "After ten minutes we were oblivious to what we ate, who we were with, all attempts at conversation and what day it was! The intensity of the noise was painful, obnoxious and we would never return again, despite that the food is very good -- we prefer to find a place where we can make small attempts at conversation and enjoy good food without suffering ear damage. We were clubbing -- we were eating dinner."

  • "I had a lovely lunch with business associates. They loved the food, and the service was both attentive and respectful of the privacy we needed for our discussions. We loved the cozy corner booth they staff gave us."

  • "Had a great brunch with a friend from the UK. I like the fact you can make a reservation. Food was great and the service 1st class"

  • "I was very happy with my meal. They have a really well priced lobster special on Monday nights and also a three course special which is a great deal. My only complaint was that the waitress seemed to forget about us as dinner progressed - a long wait between apps and entrees, we had to ask for dessert menus and then she forgot to bring us a cappuccino."

  • "LOVED it! Great food, service, ambiance and energy. Will surely recommend to others and come back again."

  • "Food was great, but despite the fact that there were always multiple staff standing and looking over the dining area, the coffee refills were hard to get and slow coming."

  • "Five Points keeps me coming back for brunch. Their service is on point and the food is beyond satisfying. I particularly like the oven roasted eggs, and their biscuits - amazing."

  • "we had been disappointed by our vacation to florida being canceled due to the snowstorm and subsequent air travel mess, so we needed a good experience when we decided to take our daughter and son in law out for brunch. we tried five points based on some reviews we had read, and it was one of the best dining experiences ever. the waiter (originally from texas) was friendly and professional, the table was ready when we arrived, the food was inventive, fresh, and delicious. and great coffee! highly recommended."

  • "This was for brunch. Some different brunch things that were quite nice. Much too noisy."

  • "We've only been there for brunch, but they have the best churros and chocolate i've ever had. Their take on Eggs Benedict and Huevos Rancheros is great. The hash is a little bland and dry, but all else I mentioned is great. The bloody mary's are great!"

  • "We'll not really a find...I had been to Hundred Acres and Cookshop. Like it's sister restaurants, its a great neighborhood place with great American fare."

  • "I knew just what a wanted, a real foodie's food experience. I spent thirty minutes on the internet looking because I didn't want to go somewhere I'd been and found Five Points. And I got that experience. I may have gotten lucky with what I ordered - everything was great, but the staff was very helpful too (I'm one of the jackballs that asks a zillion questions before he orders anything). Food was top notch, staff was excellent, place was spacious (and cool) - two big thumbs up!"

  • "We ate here for dinner with some friends. We had a great experience. This restaurant has a relaxed, low-key vibe, while also feeling energetic. We did not feel rushed with ordering or anything, which is nice when you're catching up with friends. The portions of the meat dishes are LARGE compared to other NYC restaurants, which was nice when you're paying $30 for an entree (feel like you're getting your money's worth). Enjoy!"

  • "Went a year ago or and was very impressed, this visit was underwhelming. Snack items (chicken liver mousse, pork croquetas) we're great, but octopus appetizer was overwhelmed by smoked paprika and the two port mains were very bland. Nice cocktail list, well-curated wine list, friendly service."

  • "We had an early curtain nearby, and the speed with which the meal was delivered was much appreciated. Not long ago we ate at the more upscale place down the street -- we ended up having to choose between eating or getting to the play -- we'll never go back there, even though Martha Stewart was at the next table."

  • "I like the location and decor of this place and the food really wasn't bad but I really like Hundred Acres more. The service here didn't seem as attentive."

  • "We were attending a performance at the Public Theater a block away and needed a convenient restaurant. We were very pleased with Five Points. They had a prix fixed dinner that was delicious and a good value. The ambience is modern and elegant. The service was attentive."

  • "My husband and I ate brunch with friends at Five Points last July 4th. It is a very cute place nestled in the middle of a unobstrusive street. Food was great and it was a fun way to start off the holiday."

  • "Food, service and ambience all join together to equal a wonderful dining experience."

  • "The food doesn't taste that good. A person could eat it but you would want to eat only because you are hungry (and have to put something in your stomach). The service was not bad and nothing was wrong with the service (for my experience). It was professional. The interior decor was not good looking and was very practical. Like it was the office of a business - very no frills practical. The photos on the NY Mag website is..very misleading and doesn't show the main interior seating area and only nice shots of the bar and seating next to the kitchen. The bill for two come out as $125. I went to a nicer place the other night and it was $215. So I guess you get what you pay for but I still feel I overpaid."

  • "The food choices are somewhat limited (maybe 20 items total) but each dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. Noise level on a Sunday afternoon was very loud, full of good energy, but required some screaming to be heard. Reservations got us right to our table despite a long line at the door."
