Five Points is always a reliable choice in NOHO/East Village. I met a friend for brunch and we had a great time. The server was great and we definitely didn't feel rushed even though it was the height of Brunch time.
I ordered the beef hash and eggs, which was just ok. The meat was cooked well, but the sauce tasted like A1 sauce from the bottle. We ordered polenta which was to die for and my friends ham and cheese was awesome! So it's definitely a spot I'd go back to.

Although we were seated and greeted promptly - we did have to wait far too long for our dinners which were luke warm at best. We had oysters, pasta, salad and the fish entree. Because of the long wait we were brought a free dessert which was the highlight of the meal. The the food was good, but not great - and with so many other great options in the area I would not plan to return - except perhaps, for the Samoa Cake.

Very nice restaurant. Good menu choices and we really enjoyed the oysters! Our waitress was so sweet, and very helpful in answering questions, etc. An enjoyable evening with very good food.

We love this restaurant. On our first outing a few months ago, both of our meals were top notch. This time, they were close to that, but not quite. My only issue was with the chef confusing the taste of my flatiron steak with wasabi. A good steak shouldn't be tampered with. It was lovely and tender, and I wished I could overcome the wasabi to fully enjoy it.

Been to this informal Noho restaurant perhaps 8-10 times over last 5 years. This last visit was really outstanding. Knowledgeable and attentive server was the key to a good dining experience. The menu is a bit meat heavy, and could be improved with some more fish entrees. (Scallops on the menu are excellent) There is something for everyone on this menu though. The happy hour wine specials are always excellent and poured from the bottle at the table, which adds to the experience. A very well run place.

I would highly recommend Five Points far enough out of the hustle and bustle of manhattan but only $10 in a cab from midtown.
Food was excellent and service was great, we went for brunch which was very reasonably priced and delicious

food was excellent but wait staff needs training friendly but not attentive enough ordered carafe of house wine nobody poured second glass, gave us check without asking and we were not lingering then had to wave to get it picked up. Some waiters didn't speak english
