Five O'clock never dissapoints. An old fashioned steak house where they take your order at the bar and then when your table is ready you are seated. Georgia the owner is fantastic and keeps her staff on a tight shift! The service is excellent but it is the food that is fantastic! This time along with steaks (the best!) we tried the BBQ ribs...fantastic! Who'da though? The flavor of all their meats is wonderful cooked to perfection. I am not much of a red meat lover, but when I want that once in a while steak....this is the place!!

My friend from Houston, Tx thought the steak was great but was sorely disappointed in the garlic bread and the $9.00 he paid for a couple of ounces of spinach made his dining experience less than what it should have been.

The food is excellant. The noise level was so hgh, we had to yell across the table. Our waitress was nice, but failed to return to ask us if we wanted dessert or coffee -She simply handed us the bill. We waited quite a long time after finishing our meal to have it cleared. Water refills did not happen.

My boyfriend and I work at a hotel downtown and have really been wanting to go to a good steakhouse. The restaurant is set up as a supperclub style and has a very welcoming and energetic vide. Our steaks and food were AMAZING!! The service is top notch and the staff goes above and beyond for their guests. Stelio Kalkounos who runs the restaurant visits each table to make sure that everyone is enjoying their meals. If you want to go to an steakhouse with amazing food, atmosphere and service, Five O' Clock Steakhouse is the place to be!

I love the 5 O'Clock club for any occasion where great steaks and cocktails are required. When out of town guests come, we usually hit up this place. Anyone who comes to visit again usually requests it that's how great the food and service is. Some folks may think the decor is dated, but I think it's authentic character that makes the experience even more memorable.

We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday with another couple and had an excellent time. The service was outstanding-the servers and bartenders were so friendly. My husband is hard of hearing and so the noise level was difficult for him-however he totally enjoyed all of it. The food was also outstanding and I would highly recommend it!

To start, it was to dark in the restaurant. My wife ordered a steak and shrimp entree so the waitress assumed that she ordered for both of us so she never took my order which meant I had to wait while my wife ate. She ordered a well done steak which came out medium well and I ordered a medium well steak which came out well done. Management came to our table asking several times asking was everything ok. They offered to buy dessert or one free drink. The lady MANAGER a much older women made a wise crack about the waitress being a blonde I thought that was a little unprofessional. We will certainly give them another chance.

At this point I think you can consider my Girlfriend and I regulars at Five O'Clock. We probably stop in once a month or so. The staff is great, the food amazing and the place itself has so much charm. It has never let us down. We've been through the steaks enough now that I look forward to trying some of the non-steak items on the menu. All in all a truly great place.

Both my husband and I were beyond expressed and completely satisfied with our dining experience. The steaks were not only humongous but seriously the best tasting steaks we've ever had! We had a side of the Lobster Mac and Cheese and the Chef's Garlic Bread both of them mind blowing delicious! Seriously such generous portions that we were lucky enough to dine on all these delicious delights the following day from our leftovers. Hands down this is our new "place". Staff was super friendly with genuine smiles and excitement as they described the menu to us knowing we were there for our first dining experience. I would highly recommend this establishment and look forward to our next dinning experience there.

Very bad experience. Postage stamp size table, noise level over the top, miniscule bathrooms, stale breadsticks, very ordinary bread, not close to warm, rock hard butter, runny salad dressing, soup served while we were still eating our salad, much vaunted relish tray had old musty tasting radishes, meat was served at a temperature slightly warmer than room temperature, lighting level in dining room so low it was impossible to see where the bone in the meat was making it very hard to cut and I couldn't read the bill, one person running valet parking, waited a long time for car to be brought from about 50 feet away. Admittedly they tried to make it better but just couldn't seem to manage it. I left with a splitting headache and very unhappy.

My last visit to this restaurant was over 10 years ago and it was as if I walked into the same scene again. I did notice that they had cleared away some of the old Christmas decorations from the bar area, but, the order at the bar and then wait to be seated with a drink routine was the same. Dinner was a relaxed, old-school, northwoods friendly steakhouse kind of a meal. While I have had better steaks around the city once in a while I would rate this one as very good and definitely worth the trip downtown. I will definitely not wait another 10 years before I make a return trip.

Online reservation was so easy. Complimentary valet parking. Greeted and told to sit in the bar and waitress would come take our order. Bar waitstaff took our drink order. Order your meal in the bar and seated at the table when ready with salad, bread, relish tray. Salad served family style. Bread was very good. Served with butter and honey. Relish tray had carrots, celery, green onion, peppers, radishes. We ordered Bacon Wrapped Filet 8-oz. and Porterhouse Steak 28 oz. Both very tender. Sides were Rice Pilaf and Onion Rings - very good. Owner came over twice to see how our meal was. Waitress was very nice. Recommend this to anyone. It's not cheap, but with a gift card (which we had) or for a special occasion - so worth it!

From the moment you walk in the front door you are transported to a different time. Step back into the 1960's and enjoy the atmosphere and dining experience of a bygone era. This gem of a supper club is one of my all time favorites. From the Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Tony Bennett songs playing in the background to the white shirt and bow-tied bartenders; Five O'Clock Steakhouse serves the perfect ambiance for fine dining. The steaks are so tender you hardly need a knife and the service is absolutely impeccable. I love that you are greeted at your table with a relish tray and fresh bread. It's not just 'going out to eat' but a dining experience. If I could rate it 6 stars I would. It's just PERFECT.

This was a birthday celebration for both of us. When my brother had his first taste of his filet he was in heaven. The meal started with a salad that he described as delicious, he loved the salad! He said from the beginning of the meal to the very end it was delicious! The key lime pie at the end was a great ending to the evening. Thanks so much for a great meal and a great experience. Management's attention to detail and personal connection with customers assure high quality every time. Our waitress was attentive to our needs and the pace of our dinner. The timing of service added to the enjoyment of the evening.

I requested my Heineken to be placed in the freezer to chill and serve w/my meal, which was served to me warm and as soon as I sat down. Also, I had to get up to ask for steak knives and to pay my bill. Other wise, I enjoy your place tremendously...

My husband & I have had dinner at the Five O'Clock Steakhouse 3 or 4 times in the past year, and it is always excellent, but this time it was extraordinary! This was mostly due to how my husband raved about his choice for dinner, Chef George's Trio. It consisted of a small filet, a pork chop, and a lamb chop with a side of rice pilaf. My husband said the filet was great, as usual, but was absolutely astounded by how delectable the lamb and pork were. Even the rice pilaf was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my usual choice, the ladies cut filet, as well as every other part of the meal: the crusty baked bread, the fresh & crisp vegetables used in the salad, and the outstanding service. Bravo, Five O'Clock!

Even though I'm a Milwaukee native, I had never been to the 5 O'Clock Steakhouse prior to this past weekend. I was able to make a reservation on-line and when we arrived I was pleased to see the complimentary valet parking. The food and the service were great, but the experience felt a little claustrophobic. From the crowded bar to the tight quarters in the dining room, I would have liked a little more elbow room. As my dining companion observed: if you're so close to the next table that you can grab food off their table, you're too close. However, I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a great steak.

The meal was great. Steaks do not disappoint. Delicious, and cooked to perfection. Portions are sizeable and we both took food home. The crab stuffed mushrooms were incredible but I wish there was a fifth one instead of sharing the four stuffed caps equally with my partner. But they were just that good. NY strip and Rib eye with a perfect with crusty sear on the outside and melt in the mouth pink in the inside cooked med rare. Service is classic old school and our waitress was amazing. Service shows up just when you need it and are not hovering or pushy. Loved our experience.
