All the different courses came at a great time,not rushed,flowed well. I had the organic salmon which was the best salmon I have ever had. Truly on of the best meals ever. The wine list was moderately priced and enjoyed. When we come back to Ogunquit we will certainly visit you again.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMA great night...My husband and I went to dinner at 5 0 this past weekend, we were early for our reservation so we went into the bar area for a pre dinner drink, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to have dinner there at the bar. You can order from a bar menu or the regular menu....this being our first time (and not last) at this restaurant we decided to order of the regular menu.
We decided to get the 3 for appetizer ...we let the bartender choose ..a great selection ....we had codfish cake, rice balls and a mushroom raguoet...they were great choices..we were very pleased....Great homemade bread....
My husband got the ribeye steak which he loved, I ordered the free range chicken with rissoto....Great food, wonderful service, great crowd...5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMService Over and Above!We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Five-O. The food was very good, and the service excellent, even going so far as to lend us an umbrella to walk back to our hotel in a torrential downpour after dinner. The service was terrific. They handled special requests with ease and hospitality. And the food was really good. The kitchen whips up a wonderful brunch that is super tasty. I had the pleasure of trying a lobster omelette (special request). This was the first time we had brunch to celebrate Mother's Day. While the brunch buffet looked outstanding with many choices, we opted to order off the menu and were not disappointed. Great service, as usual. Taken right on time (we had reservations). The only "flaw" was that there was a piano player and the music was just too loud. We are all for live music, particularly at a brunch, but given the size of the dining room and how busy it was, the noise level got a bit loud. "Stumbled" across it during an Open Table search and the reviews and menu looked promising. We were there celebrating a birthday with friends. Had an amazing meal -- everything we ordered was delicious. Great service. Ogunquit is a great town, too. Our appetizer and two entrees were devine, and even though were not in the mood for a cocktail, everyone's around us looked so good we almost ordered some. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud and is a great place for a dinner night out, a few drinks with friends or brunch on the weekends.
